I feel like I should be able to answer this question but I am coming up short. speaking of. addax are probably shorter than you think they are. anyways i really should look at behaviours more but some facts i do know are that they have a winter and summer coat, and are also fairly slow. not much of a difference between male and female. Addax are kinda nocturnal cuz its cooler and use sand to cool down. they also dont need a water source if they have enough grass (im now watching an informative vid on them)

anyways goats and addax are pretty different, especially depending on the type of goat. addax are desert dwellers and are a specific species of bovidae. goats, or capra, are a whole sub genre of the bovid family and are usually more like mountain/ forest areas but goats have a lot of range, mountain goats are so different from your typical domestic goat, those things are like the size of a bear.

if you are planning for an antagonist I would look at either a big old mountain goat (oreamnos) or a markour - their horns are so cool- and I either you could play up the traditional old man looking angle, or you go for something smaller like a domestic goat or addax and have them be a little more squirely/wiry oddity of a thing

Does anyone know some really strange goat behaviors or facts? (I will also gladly accept information on addax antelopes)

The main antagonist of my book series is a "goat/antelope" and I want to write a funny for him :]
