Do you know why in one databook of naruto Masashi Kishimoto said that the relationshio between orochimaru and anko was intense? And in what page of one of the databook he compares a tecnique like lovers suicide? For me, anko loves him since a long time and orochimaru too but when she grew up! ♡

Here's the link to the first source pace. The pages on Anko are 122-123, where her relationship with Orochimaru is described as intense/ very deep (depending on the translation, but it means the same thing). Page 206 is where the Twin Snakes Mutual Death/ Twin Snake Sacrifice jutsu is compared to a lover's suicide. Here's my post on that, where I cite Narutopedia as my source. I don't own it personally. I can only point to the online sources/ translations.

As to why Kishimoto said that, I can only give you an educated guess. So here goes, I can't see how Anko wouldn't have been in awe of him/ crushing on him big time when she was his student. He was a Sannin, he was still the favourite to succeed the 3rd Hokage at the time, he thought she had incredible potential- short of having a kekkei genkai (the Sharingan is the only reason he gives for Sasuke having more potential than her), the fact he accuses her of being jealous of Sasuke, his intelligence and how (though he held some stuff back) he taught her everything she knows, and how, despite everything, she still copies his behaivours. I mean, if she really hates him that much, you'd think she'd quit waving her tongue around like she idolises him. Not to mention, she still keeps the photo of the two of them together on her headboard. To have someone's photo be the first and last thing you look at each day, they have to be very dear to you. I think she feels a hell of a lot of guilt for the things he did, but he'll always be the only one who means the world to her. No one can take his place.

With Orochimaru, he must have seen her as his "pet." Recall when Sakon reveals his curse mark to Sasuke, he says, "Did you think you were Lord Orochimaru's only pet?" Pawns get experimented on like easily disposable lab rats. Curse marks are reserved for his most valuable pieces. And the Heaven's curse mark is the most powerful of them, which is why he risked it on Sasuke. I would also go further with the snake summoning contract. Orochimaru has (that we know of) initiated only three others into a pact with Ryuchi Cave. Those are Kabuto, his right-hand man; Sasuke, his ideal vessel; and Mitsuki, his child, whom he hopes will be the Moon who aides the Sun in saving the world during the next great conflict. That's a pretty exclusive group, and the snakes are not especially welcoming. He must've had a lot of faith in her and viewed her as a valued apprentice, not simply a student or subordinate. Also, in their team photo, it's just the two of them. She doesn't have teammates till the Chunin exams, when they're required. Jiraiya is not shown with only Minato, but two other students we never see or hear about again. It must've been the two of them for several years and she must've been very important to him. Otherwise, why would he bother?

I get the feeling that there was a Genji/ Murasaki element there (in The Tale of Genji, Murasaki is the young girl he abducts, educating her to be his ideal woman, and eventually marrying her. She remains devoted to him, despite his faithlessness, including a marriage to another woman. She tells him she wants to be nun, but he won't let her, and she dies soon after). Then there's the story that most likely influenced Anko's character and relationship with Orochimaru, The Tale of the Gallant Jiraiya, which the Sannin are based on. Orochimaru is the master of snake magic. He is betrothed to a princess, but she becomes frightened of him as his villainous behaivour worsens. Jiraiya and Tsunade end up rescuing her.

What does Orochimaru see in a woman? Inteligence? Hair? Smile?

And what does Anko see in Orochimaru? ♡

What Orochimaru looks for in a woman (and possibly in a man, to an extent, as what he likes in a man can differ a bit) is kind of complicated. He likes strength, but he is also really drawn to vulnerability, as he likes to feel needed. It's not something he'd admit to easily, but he likes being able to take care of someone, specifically in an emotional sense. Similarly, he likes intelligence, but what really appeals to him is a thirst for even greater knowledge. He likes pretty faces, too, but his definition of pretty varies from person to person. Not to mention, the more you appeal to him on other levels, the prettier you become to him.

As for more straightforward traits; complete devotion, subservience, some blood lust, playfulness, and a high pain tolerance (because he gets rough). He likes curves, too, but he's nowhere as obsessed with them as Jiraiya is.

Anko thinks he's drop-dead gorgeous in every possible way. His eyes, hair, and skin are probably her favourite physical traits. His wisdom, strength and power, his dreams and ambitions, his cruelty, the way he teases her, and his voice round out the more intangible things about him she's very attracted to. And let's not forget his tongue! That drives her crazy!

Please do oroanko cuddling and snuggling headcanon

Orochimaru is actually more of a cuddler than one would think; if for no other reason than he gets cold. He does enjoy it as well, but that’s not something he’s apt to admit. At least not till Boruto-era. As for Anko, she loves cuddling big time! They are both snakelike, so it’s only natural they have a tendency to wrap around each other.

When she was little, he would allow her to occasionally sleep in his bed and cuddle if she had a nightmare. However, he insisted she not make a habit of it, as shinobi need to be brave and self-reliant. Orochimaru did make an exception if they had to camp out for a mission. For warmth, of course! Not out of a protective instinct at all. (At least that’s what he would claim.)

As long as she didn’t distract him, young Anko was permitted to snuggle up next to him as he read scrolls, etc. It was a given during the winter, when they’d both huddle up under the kotatsu. Sometimes, he’d even let her sit on his lap.

Adult Anko is more insistent on cuddling, seeing as she’s no longer strictly his student. Orochimaru can also be a bit demanding about it, too, drawing her closer or refusing to let go of her. She sometimes lays her head on his chest, but usually they’re all about the spooning. He’s always the big spoon with his arms possessively around her.

They will also cuddle when they have time to sit together. If Anko’s upset, he will insist upon it to calm her down. He’ll pull her up onto his lap (regardless of her weight), soothe her while she cries, and talk her through it. They have a ton of issues to work out, so it’s a pretty common occurrence, particularly in the early days of their romantic relationship. It’s very therapeutic for her, and Orochimaru as well.

What do Oro and anko mostly talk about?

When she was his student, it mostly centered on jutsu, Orochimaru’s personal philosophy, and his ambitions for the future. (He wasn’t completely forthcoming, but he told her quite a bit.) Now, there’s a lot of mundane conversations- e.g. what to eat, how their day went, etc. Though there are often more emotional talks, too. They reminisce about the good parts of the past and he has to comfort and reassure her a lot. Anko comforts him, too, but he still tries to pretend he doesn’t need it.

What are some hints that orochimaru loved anko?

It’s hard to say, as we rarely get hints about any of his emotions, apart from angry outbursts. That’s not to say he is devoid of emotion. No, I am convinced he is an extremely emotional (and melancholic) person, but he does all he can to repress it, till he inevitably explodes in a violent rage. He wants badly to be cold-hearted and unaffected by the world, but he isn’t, and that’s always his downfall. It’s a classic Scorpio trait. They build up emotional walls to hide their pain and protect themselves from further heartache. As a result, they’re extremely unstable. (Granted not all Scorpios do this in real life, but it is a common trope for villainous Scorpios in fiction, especially anime. Even the heroic ones, like Anko tend to do this. Or in Jiraiya’s case, he hides his pain behind his hedonistic behaivour.)

I think the best clue is probably the picture of them together during his fight with Hiruzen. The images shown of various teams, etc, denote the deep bonds between them. Why show them if it was completely one-sided? Why not show her with the other proctors or something? We can’t be sure, but to me it says that she was important to him, just as he had been important to Hiruzen.

She was his disciple, not simply a pawn like many others. We can infer that from the way he throws it in her face that Sasuke is replacing her as his favoured student. At one point, he had high hopes for her (though it’s likely he never intended her as a vessel, as she has no kekkei genkai). We can’t know for sure unless Kishimoto reveals more, but that’s what I take from it.

Then there’s fact he never killed her. He ended up needing her alive, which some might see as proof she was just a tool. However, he took a hell of a risk that she wouldn’t be killed before he made use of her curse mark. He obviously had great confidence in her capabilities, despite abandoning her. That makes me think he partly left her because he wanted her some place safer; that she was better off away from him. Some have said leaving her in Konoha, a place he hates, is proof he hates her, but it could be seen as punishment. He intended to make her miserable, so that she would use the Curse Mark and seek him out.

We could also argue that the Curse Mark was, as Sasuke described it, a “gift.” He wanted her to have that power and believed she was strong enough to survive. It’s never stated outright, but I always got the impression that the first nine recipients of the Heaven’s Curse Mark died before he even gave it to Anko; that he tested it on one after another, before finally marking her. Perhaps he was taking one last chance and she seemed like the safest bet. Or maybe he wanted her to have greater power, even if it might kill her. 

Whatever it was he felt, it wasn’t a healthy love, but it was probably as close to caring about her as he was capable of at the time. It would be wonderful to see reformed Orochimaru’s behaviour towards her in Boruto, but who knows if they’ll ever bother to show them meet up again.

What's oroanko sleeping schedule?

Both of them tend to stay up late. Orochimaru because he’s always checking in on his experiments or studying various scrolls; Anko because she just likes to stay up late. On the other hand, Anko likes to sleep in all morning, whereas Orochimaru is up early to get back to his lab. When she was his student, he would insist she get out of bed at 6 am. Nowadays (let’s say for this it’s later in the Boruto timeline and they’re living together), he often lets her sleep a little longer. He figures she needs her rest, as she doesn’t have an immortal White Zetsu body like he does.
