Johnny: Or, at least, we hope it's your favorite.

Mark: Yeah, we can't force that.

Johnny: Nope. But, do you know what else we can't force?

Mark: Whoa, sponsorship plug already?

Johnny: Yup. We can't force you to make our podcast your favorite, just like how we can't force you to buy the brand new DNA McDonald's meal! Johnny: Who doesn't? Biggest boyband in the world right now. But I listen to them pretty casually, they're rap line is superior.

Mark: Agreed! But, moving on, let's start with rapid-fire vigilante updates! It's Johnny's turn this time!

Johnny: Alrighty, then. [Paper Rustles] So first up! The villain Absolute Zero, who notoriously killed the Ace of Diamonds, has reportedly turned himself in, this came in this morning and I'll keep you updated in the next episode about it. There are rumors of a few vigilantes becoming more active at the news of the Charlatan becoming more active in killing people, including previous 3Racha member SpearB and previous Outro member Hope. Finally, to conclude rapid updates, the vigilante Stranger, revealed to be Li Yongqin, has been apprehended by authorities and will stand trial soon, as vigilante cases get priority.

Mark: Yongqin... Yongqin... Oh my god, do you mean Ten?! From Kick Back?!

Johnny: Yup, that's so crazy! Dude, Yangyang's freaking out. He's blowing up Renjun's notifications, the poor guy was reeling. Renjun said he wanted to be there for him but with finals coming up he can't find a good time to head over there.

Mark: Jesus... Ten's gonna be stuck behind bars forever, Stranger was fucking brutal.

Johnny: I know! It's crazy, any of us really could be vigilantes and we'd never know. [Cough] Mark [Cough]

Mark: No! I'm not a vigilante, dude I can barely lift a ten-pound weight.

Johnny: Yeah, but-

Mark: Anyway! This is the first podcast we're live streaming! Hello to all of you! And please give a warm welcome to our chat moderator Shotaro Osaki.

Shotaro: Hi, everyone! Let's keep the chat fun for everyone. As long as you're not rude or spamming the chat you'll be fine.

Johnny: Yup, basically don't be a bitch.

Mark: Let's all have fun! And hope that this livestream doesn't crash and burn. Let's go through some of these comments now...

Mark: Actually, I looked into it earlier.

Johnny: Oh? What was it like? Jaehyun said that when he went to it his computer crashed.

Mark: Did it? That's crazy, man. We were just talking about Dr. Jung in the last episode, it's really making the whole Cypher and Charlatan being the same person thing more viable. It was a pretty bare-bones site, actually. All it had was an "I am the Charlatan" box and then another box for their "list." It was super creepy thing, sent chills down my spine and all.

Johnny: Hold on, I'm pulling it up right now, meanwhile, let's have our guest introduce himself!

Donghyuck: Hi everyone! I'm Donghyuck Lee, my friends call me Haechan, and you might recognize me from the Watchtower channel on YouTube! A couple years ago, me, Jaemin, Jeno, and Renjun would rush over to the sites of vigilante activity and document things as they happened for everyone to see! We had a huge subscriber count at one point but, after the ban, the account got suspended. Luckily, we still have all of the VODs, so if you head over to our Twitter you can find links to those.

Mark: Oh, shit, that's right, you knew Jeno!

Donghyuck: Yeah, we were really close. Now that I think about it, I have no idea how he could have juggled the channel and being the Ace of Diamonds, that guy must have never slept. It makes me feel kind of bad, though. You'd think we'd know about it, at least Jaemin, those two were best friends.

Mark: It's crazy to think about, it feels just like yesterday I was with you during their fight with Absolute Zero.

Donghyuck: You mean Hyunjoon Park?

Mark: Oh, is that his name?

Donghyuck: Yeah, he turned himself in recently, I think. Showed all of the Absolute Zero gear and Diamonds'- Jeno's gauntlets to prove it.

Johnny: Oh my god... I swear, people... I think they go too far. I feel like the Absolute Zero case was one of the bigger pushing points of the Vigilante Ban. Where is that stuff now?

Donghyuck: Under lock and key, probably. Jaemin went over to see if he could at least get Jeno's things, but they wouldn't let him. Even Jeno's mother tried, but they want to take apart the darn things to see how they worked.

Mark: Oh, the Broker won't like that, he's the one who provided those to Jeno in the first place, right?

Donghyuck: I think so? The Broker's brand is on it, so I guess.

Mark: Speaking of the Broker, that's what this episode is on today, actually! Hyuck here is a bit of a conspiracist so we figured he'd be perfect for this episode.

Donghyuck: Bet, I have a couple videos of the Broker too, but whenever I post them they get taken down in seconds.

Mark: That's the power of money, I guess. Johnny, why don't you introduce the Broker?

Johnny: Gotcha, gotcha, let's see... Here it is. The Broker is a legacy title, according to sources. Although their names are always well obscured, they do everything in their power to stay out of the public eye and, theoretically, other big names in politics and in the upper 1% do their best to keep their identities hidden also. The previous Broker was a known arms dealer who would provide firepower to the highest bidder and the current Broker is... unknown. For all the mistakes the first Broker did, the new one makes up for it. The Broker is officially listed as 'Wanted,' but it seems that despite this, he is as active as he was pre-ban.

Mark: Yeah, I hear rumors all over the place that the Broker's still making deals with big governments. But, more importantly, tell us about this video you have, Hyuck.

Donghyuck: Here, I'll just show you guys. Basically, in the video, the guy who Renjun assumed to be the Broker walks into the capitol building with this huge case and with a few bodyguards around him and exits without said case.

Johnny: And how do you guys know they're the Broker?

Donghyuck: Hold on! I'm getting there, be patient! Look at this, if you zoom in on the pin on his coat, it vaguely looks like the brand of the Broker.

Mark: For those who don't know, the brand of the Broker is basically just an owl's head with a spider's web behind it. There's apparently some symbolism behind it, the owl represents dangerous vigilance and the spider's web represents connections and traps, etc. But, y'all can look into that more with a google search.

Johnny: Hyuck, respectfully, this footage is super grainy. We can barely see this supposed "Broker."

Donghyuck: I know! It's fucking crazy! This is all we've been able to get of anything remotely related to the Broker!

Johnny: This is why you need to upgrade to a Crystal, iPhone are out now.

Donghyuck: I've been considering it! Do you have one?

Johnny: Yup, check this out. [Tech Sounds] Holo-Tech and voice features, this is stuff of the future, man!

Mark: Shoot... The Jeong family's probably crazy rich now. After Gunho invented Holo-Tech they're probably rolling in money.

Johnny: What do you mean? The Jeong's are old rich, dude. They've had money since forever.

Donghyuck: When we say eat the rich we mean them.

Mark: Oh! Haha... but like... still, going back on topic, Hyuck, if this really is the Broker... dude, you need to go into Witness Protection.

Donghyuck: I was under witness protection for a bit after what happened to Jeno, we all were at the Watchtower channel. But since Absolute Zero turned himself in, well, there goes my 24/7 surveillance. It was kind of nice while it lasted, actually.

Mark: Still, dude, be careful. I'm pretty sure the Broker has enough money to make it look like an accident, you know?

Donghyuck: Oh, no doubt the Broker has enough money to make that happen too, damn, these rich people. They really do live in a different world from us, don't they? It's scary.

Mark: We're probably just expendable things to them, geez.

Donghyuck: I always joke about overthrowing the rich but I think they'd probably pay like two billion just to make sure I never speak again. Isn't that one of the things the Broker has done?

Johnny: If you're talking about what happened to Senator Kim then yeah. That shit was fucking brutal. The Broker basically crushed that guy's jaw after releasing his gender. That was crazy.

Mark: I still remember the headlines, that was long before the ban too. If that didn't get them to reconsider the vigilante thing I'm surprised what else the Broker could've done. I wonder what he's up to, I'm sure he knows he probably has the most influence in at least this country.

Johnny: How could you not? All that money and different big-name politicians coming to you for your products... remember when he was on the dark web?

Donghyuck: I remember that! Actually, I think it's still up. Jaemin installed Torr on one of our laptops, which has since been destroyed, just to pull up information on the Huntsman, then we stumbled upon the Broker's page. It's locked by a fucking paywall. Guess how much we have to pay to get in?

Mark: Twenty thousand.

Johnny: Fifty thousand.

Donghyuck: You guys aren't even close! Try two million!

Mark: Holy shit!

Donghyuck: Right?! Obviously, we didn't have that money and within like an hour of installing Torr the cops showed up and took the laptop. Luckily it was an old thing that Jaemin didn't use anymore because of all of the viruses on it so it wasn't like we lost anything, but still. The Broker doesn't joke around.

Johnny: I'm pretty sure the Broker could easily just start a war on his own and bam just like that. Does he even really qualify as a vigilante?

Mark: I guess technically? The Broker did supply a lot of vigilantes, and probably still does. I feel like that makes him a vigilante by default.

Johnny: I guess? He's also officially registered as that according to the Most Wanted list, but in a way, he also isn't. Fundamentally, the Broker's just a bare-bones arms dealer.

Donghyuck: Basically, yeah. Aside from this video that Renjun took we don't have much else to go on, I feel like every time anything is released on the Broker it gets taken off immediately.

Mark: Maybe he's working with Cypher?

Donghyuck: Or maybe he's working with a different hacker we don't know about.

Johnny: Dang, if he is working with Cypher then that hacker must have a lot on his plate and damn, that's a lot of work.

Mark: Vigilantes... they really are on a different plane from us, it's like they have their own sphere of the world that we'll just never be able to understand. And now with this Charlatan stuff, who knows what will happen?

Donghyuck: Have you guys seen the theory that the Charlatan's killing off vigilantes?

Johnny: No way!

Donghyuck: Yes way! A lot of people are pointing out that the weapons Charlatan has been using used to belong to Vigilantes, how else could they have received them if not by killing them and taking them? Not to mention, all of the weapons used have been sourced out by the Broker then maybe later improved on.

Mark: The Charlatan did mention that they want to get rid of all traces of vigilantes, hence why they killed Senator Keeves. Everyone else I assumed were against the vigilante ban or maybe helped vigilantes in the past.

Johnny: And a lot of the people on the list had actual livelihoods that required being in the public eye a lot.

Donghyuck: It is just a theory.

Johnny: The math isn't mathing.

Donghyuck: But it is interesting!

Mark: Add that to the long list of Charlatan theories, huh? Let's move on to our next part of the... huh? [Paper Rustling]

Johnny: What's wrong?

Mark: Johnny, did you do something to my script?

Johnny: No? [More Paper Rustling] Where'd the rest of the script go?

Donghyuck: Hold on, I printed mine out at home, here you... what? Just kidding.

Mark: Very funny, Johnny.

Johnny: I swear I didn't do anything! It's gotta be around here somewhere, right? Look around the office.

Mark: Uh... we're going through some technical difficulties right now, so give us a quick second, sorry about this, guys.

Mesmo assim, Ryuunosuke veio o típico garoto que seria tachado de problema logo quando crescesse. Era brincalhão, bagunceiro e se encontrasse os amigos errados, com certeza iria para o mau caminho.

Ou pelo menos, era isso o que as pessoas achavam. Porém, nunca poderiam imaginar que quem tinha a cabeça mais firme era Tanaka Ryuunosuke. Ele nunca faz o que acha ser errado e o seu psicológico quase nunca se abala. Sabe muito bem quais são suas capacidades e habilidades. Tanaka é do tipo que se deixar, vai longe! Isso claro, se ele soubesse o que quer fazer da vida. O maior empecilho no momento é entender como quer viver dali pra frente. Por isso, ele resolveu sair da casa dos seus pais, conseguir um emprego e se aventurar a descobrir, afinal, o mundo é cheio de voltas e nem sempre precisa-se pegar um caminho reto para chegar aonde almeja-se ir.

Alguns dias mais tarde apareceu com boas novas para seu diário.

[...] Escolher um nome é mais difícil do que parece... MAS EU CONSEGUI! Agora me chamo Shotaro. É japonês! ˴ÔˬÔˏ Pedi ajuda na biblioteca e passei horas pra decidir... A moça disse que o nome combina comigo. [...] 

Por conta de sua personalidade agitada, serelepe e "um pouco" caótica, vivia metido em confusões e sempre era obrigado a ouvir sermões. Tamanha velocidade e vigor tornava difícil acompanhar seu ritmo. Há quem se canse de sua energia. E há aqueles que sentem contagiados por ela. Curioso e com fome de conhecimento, tirava proveito de suas aulas e da disponibilidade de seus professores, além de todo o material que a escola e academia ofereciam aos estudantes. Sempre instigado a ser cada vez mais curioso, bibliotecas e livrarias passaram a ser seus lugares de estadia mais frequentes. Aprendeu, inclusive, algumas línguas do mundo humano, tais quais italiano, japonês e inglês. Embora o mundo humano fosse perigoso para criaturas como Nero, ele possuía muitas outras coisas positivas — e na visão de Nero, a música, a dança e a comida eram o melhor que aquele mundo poderia proporcionar. Além de outras mais coisas, mas essas três em especial conquistaram seu coração — e paladar. Já houveram casos em que adormeceu na biblioteca, resultado de horas procurando por... sim... mangás. Acabou encontrando alguém que possuía alguns exemplares.

[...] Acabei dormindo na biblioteca... (￣ ￣|||) espero que não descubram. Seria mais um sermão e castigo pra conta. Dado meu histórico, não acreditariam que eu simplesmente adormeci por lá. "Ai sHoTaRo InVaDiU a BiBlIoTeCa De NoVo"... sem saco ! E sem moral alguma... tsc. [...] 

No tempo livre, treinava suas habilidades visando melhorar suas estratégias se colocando em diversas situações diferentes — o que também ocasionava seus castigos. Claro que no início foi complicado, muitas vezes (sejamos sinceros, quase todas, senão todas...) Odin o repreendeu devido aos acidentes causados, mas conforme era instruído pelo deus, Nero avançava em seus resultados. Um tempo depois, sua vida começou a se tornar monótona, deixando-o desanimado e abatido. Foi aconselhado a entrar para o clube de vôlei, mas o que trouxe de volta o brilho dos olhos do Sha foi a dança. Nero havia descoberto um novo hobbie — que atualmente é sua maior paixão. Sempre ansiava pelo momento dos ensaios e reuniões do clube de dança. A sensação era revigorante. Sentia seu corpo leve e relaxado. Mas nem tudo é tão bom o tempo todo. Embora parecesse feliz a todo momento, a realidade não era bem assim. Nero tinha seus demônios, mas os negava. Mascarava seus medos e inseguranças. Nunca conseguiu esconder isso de Odin ou de Hades, não que contasse a eles, mas foram eles que o criaram, conheciam Nero o suficiente pra saber quando algo estava errado.

[...] Eu deveria me desculpar? Por sempre ter dito que não tinha família, quando em todo esse tempo eles estavam comigo... [...] Eles são o mais próximo de pais que eu já tive... Não... Eles SÃO meus pais. E eu devo desculpas a eles. [...]

Essa havia sido a primeira vez em que Nero chorou na frente de alguém. Sentia-se culpado por ingratidão ou por ter os magoado. Pensava apenas em suas próprias dores e sentimentos, deixando de lado justo os daqueles que se dispuseram a criá-lo. Porque sem eles, onde estaria? Foi também a primeira vez que compartilhou suas dores com seus pais. Sempre teve em mente que despejar seus problemas em alguém o tornaria um incômodo e se afastariam de si. Um de seus piores medos era voltar a ficar sozinho. "[...] Eu sei que sempre vou poder contar com vocês, agora mais que nunca. Então... obrigado por cuidarem de mim. [...]" Se sentia confortável em deixar suas lágrimas rolarem. Afinal, agora tudo parecia mais fácil e já não havia mais uma nuvem negra pairando sua mente. Embora não fosse impedí-la de voltar, esse momento foi de grande importância para o crescimento de Nero.

[...] Hoje tive minha primeira apresentação de dança no show de talentos da escola. (╯✧▽✧)╯Meus pais estavam me assistindo. Com certeza um dos melhores dias da minha vida... [...] 

— Habilidades: 

1. Modo Sha: Nero transmuta para sua forma natural obtendo um aumento massivo de suas capacidades em 3 vezes, sendo elas físicas, mentais e espirituais. Duração: 6 horas a cada 24 horas.

2. Consciência bestial: Devido a sua violência e bestialidade natural, Nero possui seus sentidos extremamente apurados se comparando aos de feras selvagens. Seu instinto é elevado, trazendo a tona seu lado bestial. Seu vigor é extremamente grande, dificilmente se esgotando em batalha, uma vez que consegue ignorar a dor achando ela algo bom e divertido. Mas devido a isso, Nero poderá sofrer sérios ferimentos, podendo até mesmo morrer.

3. Velocidade melhorada: Nero possui a capacidade de atingir uma velocidade absurda devido a seu corpo naturalmente mais ágil e flexível. Consegue atingir no máximo 100km/h. Se excedida a velocidade, Nero poderá acarretar náuseas, tontura e/ou desmaio. 

4. Atmokinesis: Nero, por ser um ser com ligação com o deus Seth, possui grande relação com o clima, sendo capaz de alterá-lo ao seu redor podendo sentir, criar moldar e manipular o tempo. Ou seja, os padrões meteorológicos. Criando chuva, vento, granizo, neve, neblina, relâmpago e mudanças de temperatura. Isso inclui a capacidade de controlar a intensidade de clima em áreas altamente concentradas (dentro de uma sala) ou vastamente estendidas (cidades). O efeito dura 1 hora e Nero precisará repousar no mínimo 6 horas para usar novamente. 

5. Manipulação de ilusões: Nero se torna capaz de alterar a percepção de suas vítimas fazendo com que vejam o mundo aos seus gostos, conseguindo controlar, gerar e moldar ilusões a um ponto onde o próprio oponente não saberá distinguir se tudo o que vê é real ou não. Uma névoa negra envolve a vítima criando a ilusão, caso desfeita, a névoa vai ao chão como pó. As ilusões duram enquanto Nero estiver concentrado, se algo o desfocar de seu objetivo a ilusão se desfaz. Não funciona em quem possui bloqueio/imunidade mental, causando fortes dores de cabeça no Sha.
