Guess who was almost murdered, and then rescued by, fellow dupes last night? When I tell you that I was screaming/yelling, I'm not kidding. The red mark on the bar is how close she was to dying before she was finally able to climb to an area full of oxygen. (I was digging a pocket for the carbon dioxide to sink down into, and my new 8th dupe dug up the small land bridge leading to the ladder.)

Wanted to upload this batch last night, but my sibling and I found the Super Mario Bros movie and I forgot about it until today. So late update. Did you know there was a hug for balloon artist dupes where at least one dupe would be stuck with a balloon permanently. It doesn't give them a buff. Purely aesthetic. Unfortunately it did not happen here, but it's pretty funny and cute.

Also Pei is now "Goop the Dupe", or Goop for short. Renamed by @otterlywyrdfirbolg

And here's the newly renamed "Yarn", in a good mood. But I didn't see the stickers she was supposedly leaving behind.

My Sage Hatch is fully grown and fuzzy af. I love it. I want more. How do I get more? I will build an empire of Sage Hatches. I just like having Hatch farms because easy coal. Might set up a third farm for more.

And I WAS going to ask how this thing works, but Harold volunteered to show me...I feel like I should have Goop make a stash of radiation medicine...

A little wip request I am working on for @otterlywyrdfirbolg of our recently deceased budgie, Knott/Nott. Named by my sibling after the Critical Role character. (😅 I had been spelling the name with a k, despite them telling me how it's spelled because I'm a dumbass.) I won't go into details. Not on an art post. But it wasn't pleasant. Will be inking and coloring this in later.

Rest in peace, friend. Fly free, and say hello to the rest of the flock for me.

So that my blog isn't just anxiety posts or me spilling overthinking stuff all over the place, quick art dump.

First off, the 6 characters challenge that I HAVE NOT forgotten. I'm just bad at sticking to big projects.

Anyway, Sebastian (rat) from The Suicide Squad for @otterlywyrdfirbolg . I need to redo it because I struggle with drawing mice and rats, and I'm just not happy with it. They also asked me to draw someone else, but I want to draw and finish this character first.

And then progress on Light Whisperer. I'm ALMOST done, but I can't seem to find the right marker color for the mask.

A quick Moth and Horrible Goose doodle I don't remember whether I posted it here or not.

And finally, that Forgetful Storyteller x Modest Dancer picture I did a while back and stopped working on to decide if I still wanted to ink and color or not. Also trying to make sure the poses and everything look right. And yes, I still obsess over these two. 💖

✨ How often do you draw?

- As young as 4 or 5. @otterlywyrdfirbolg and I would sit in the same chair together and draw on the same page with crayons! We had some wild ideas back then. Even coming up with HUGE projects and story ideas. So, yes. I definitely remember! :D

- Ehhh....sorta? Sorta not? If I'm struggling with something, I'll do quick side doodles innan attempt to figure something out. And there are plenty of times where I erase the initial sketch, or just leave an X next to it, and attempt to redraw it afterwards.

- Depends on how I'm feeling, or how many ideas I have. Lately it's been every evening. Sometimes more than once a day! I should take breaks, but I'm afraid of forgetting how to draw someone or something.
