It's been a while since I was last active on tumblr, so I've been lurking in the shadows whilst trying to get acquainted with the fandom and the latest formatting and styling trends, and setting up my blog page.

I've been aching to come write with you lot, but haven't quite finalised things yet, so in the meantime, have this little welcome post from me to say hi, I see you, I positively ⋆⋄✧⋄⋆ adore ⋆⋄✧⋄⋆ you and I can't wait to write with you all.

[ hey yall, I've decided to take an official hiatus from this blog for the month. more info under the cut, for those of you who are curious.

[ I've actually been debating with myself about this for a little while now, but I've been dealing with some personal issues that have really been hitting me hard over the past week or so and... I need a break. I don't use social media much as a rule anyway, but I think I will be trying to take a break from tumblr and just computer screens in general for a little while for the sake of my mental health.

[ I know I've been a little less responsive on Discord lately, and I do apologize to anyone who has tried to reach out or interact with me there lately. Discord is definitely still the best place to reach me if you do want to chat, but I'll probably be more selective about responding to people. It's nothing personal, I promise. I'm just trying to limit the number of times I'm checking my phone during the day (and night tbh, I'm horrible about that).

[ I will keep the queue running for this blog during my hiatus, so there won't be nothing posted here, but I decided to give myself permission to step away for the month of June for a reason. I'm not sure how long I will need to recover from what I'm going through right now, but I've already set some writing goals for myself for July, so that's when I'm hoping to get back to most of my roleplay responses too. And who knows, I might actually be back sooner. No promises though.

It could also be due to Gaito’s power that he aged faster than Kaito? Maybe they were born at the same time, but as Gaito grew up under the sea and gained power he aged quicker or sped up his growth by himself. I could see that happening possibly.

breh can someone explain to me how i thought kaito was like 13 and gaito was like 25 yet at the same time i thought they were twins?

I just worry at times that I make my muse perhaps too 'soft', but I try to find a decent compromise between a more canon-based portrayal and between what I think he would be like in a post-canon situation should he ever happen to be revived.

I'm on vacation & I am so burnout from work that I have no energy to write, so I will take a few more days to relax and read and be in nature now that the weather is nicer. and when I come back I will go through my drafts and start writing again with all of you lovely people. <3

What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)?

Did you design them with any other characters/OCs from their universe in mind? (For Ren!)

The first thing that ever came to mind from memory with ren is appearance and backstory. They were what i focused on when first creating him, but during that bit, with my friend i was also going through the draft that ren could have ended up being a blond girl with darkness powers more so than shadows and light. She would have still been the third seer kings daughter and same mother. As for designing ren with other characters in mind, Seren/Serenity was always going to play a big part due to the plotline that was going on. Big players were also Angela, Ren's dad (The third seer king) who has not kinda been shown around too much here in roleplay as well as the seer goddess of Mothers who also hasn't been too much on show. Another that also comes to mind is Mitsuki who was still a baby during those times.
