the fuckers are still glued to my brain, so more overblox headcanons:

overdrive has jokingly called cap "love" a few times during banter

tessla would sometimes be overdrive's wingwoman to help him ask cap out (and because i headcanon tess and overdrive as besties)

they almost went out on a date to the park, but got interrupted because they were called in for a meeting

overdrive fell down a flight of stairs once, and cap had to carry him back while also lecturing him (bonus: it was bridal-style)

(this takes place after cap found out about overdrive's feelings) overdrive pulled a bold move on the captain, which practically rendered him flustered and speechless, which lead to cap avoiding eye contact with overdrive for the rest of the day, as he was too flustered to even look at him

they argue over petty stuff, one way or another

cap is an idealist while overdrive is a realist

(they share a ladynoir-like dynamic, take a quick guess on who's who?)

kinetic and tessla had to put up with cap and overdrive's "will they/won't they" for 2½ years, amethsyto didn't mind, but he wasn't paying that much attention

overdrive has a habit of resting his elbow on his teammates' shoulder, cap is no exception, but overdrive tends to lean on cap's shoulder more than rest his elbow on it (cap didn't mind, and overdrive was comfortable)
