RWBY volume 9 epilogue spoilers
So the rosegarden and ozglyn potentials are thru the roof now 👀 I can already see ozpin and oscar realizing their value as people thanks to glynda and ruby in particular, and all of their loved ones too. This last bit includes each other and I Need them to hug somehow before the series ends.
And It Will end. It Will continue to its ending. I'm now more hopeful and excited than ever.

In the Light of the Moon
Summary: Glynda wakes to an empty bed, and goes to look for Ozpin.
Pairing: Glynda x Ozpin
Word Count: 442
A/N: inspired by this fan art linked here. It gave me Ozglyn vibes:)
-
Ozpin can’t remember the last time he had really sat and observed the moon.
He remembers a time when it was a full, white sphere, casting light across the world of Remnant during the night. He also remembers when it was shattered. He tries not to think about that too often.
As he sits now, he exhales slowly out through his nose, absently counting the little fragments of moon that decorate the night sky. Beside him, his book is open and recently forgotten, Long Memory settled against the arm of the chair.
It’s pointless to try and organize his thoughts. They mill about his head like misrully children, grating against his patience and weighing on his heart. In the rare times that he is alone, Ozpin makes no attempt to quiet his thoughts. He deserves the punishment, deserves to forever lack a peaceful mind.
Hearing a gentle tap against the mahogany of his door, he clears his throat, “Come in.”
The door creaks open and shut, and the sound of pointed heels clicks behind him. Ozpin doesn't move, keeps his eyes trained on the moon and her broken fragments.
“What're you doing awake this late?” He asks, although he garners a few ideas.
“You didn't come to bed,” Glynda says in a hushed tone. “I was waiting, but you never came.”
Ozpin lets out a short breath, presses his glasses onto his nose. “Not tonight, dear.”
They’re quiet again, aside from the gentle buzz of the gears within his office, and watch the light of the moon. After a beat, her heels click on the floor and stop right at his back. He can nearly feel the warmth of her skin as she bends, her fingers running down his shoulder to his forearm to his hand, and lace within his own.
Ozpin glances at their intertwined hands and slowly raises them to his face, eyeing her neatly manicured nails. Leaning forward, he places a kiss to her knuckles, his mouth lingering and breath warming her hand.
“Don’t shut me out,” she says behind him, and Ozpin shuts his eyes. “Please.”
He nods, kisses her hand once more. “Go. I’ll be there in a moment,” he says softly, and when she hesitates. He adds. “I promise.”
Glynda gives his hand a gentle squeeze before releasing it, and Ozpin listens to the click of her heels as she walks away. When he’s alone once more, he sighs, closing his book and gripping Long Memory before standing. Glancing at the fractured moon once more, he wonders if Salem still looked at it night after night too, even though he was no longer by her side.

A fire breaks out in the Beacon cafeteria. Maybe it's as simple as a cooking mishap turned freak accident, maybe it's a student misusing dust or their semblance, but regardless of the source the fire spreads quickly, and the screaming teenagers are too busy elbowing each other to get out to try and stifle it.
The first person of any authority on the scene is Ozpin by pure happenstance. It's really not a good time. The headmaster hasn't slept well, kept up all night by nightmares that continue to flash in the darkness behind his eyelids when he blinks, and the turning in his stomach has kept him from eating. It's early in the school day; too early for him to have regained control of himself and evened out, and he's tired and irritated and uncharacteristically impulsive. So he pushes past the crowds of fumbling students with nary a word of comfort, and forces open the door to make sense of the commotion.
It's immediate. Thick grey smoke floods his senses, burning his nose and throat and clogging up his lungs until he can't force a breath. The line of flames creeping across the tables seems to swell up until it towers over him, impenetrable, obscuring every surface, and he can see her, feel her, feel her nails bearing marks into his face and the harsh press of her heel stub breaking the skin of his chest, can smell burning flesh before he even feels it peeling back, and it's burning, burning, burning-
Someone says his name.
He blinks.
The fire and smog is gone. The sky beams blue above, sunny and clear, birds chirping without a care in the world, and it takes several harsh blinks to realize he's stood outside. He doesn't remember how he got there, until he turns and sees the building behind him, several paces away, faculty rushing in, one with a fire extinguisher. And between it and him is Glynda, face pinched, looking at him like she's not sure what to make of him, and her hand is on his shoulder, firm and grounding. She must have taken him out.
It's rather embarassing.
Ozpin straightens up, breathing in the clear air and only allowing himself a moment to adjust before he lets himself smile at her. Her expression doesn't give, and it makes him unsure, but he keeps it up regardless, if only because students are still milling around to gawk at the spectacle. On the third breath, he can't taste ash anymore, though a tinge of iron remains. Perhaps he bit his tongue. It doesn't matter.
He makes to speak, tone too casual even as his tongue lags in his mouth, and it's frustrating and stressful because he knows he's outside, he knows everything is alright, he knows Glynda is still affixing him with that look and yet he can't seem to force himself to calm down. Belatedly is the realization that he's still shaking, and that is why he feels so unsteady still and his teeth chatter despite the temperature, and the second time she puts her hand on his arm he falls quiet. Her gaze drifts down to his hands, trembling so hard he's sure he couldn't pick up a pen if he tried, and he says nothing when she gently interlocks their fingers and takes him back to his tower.
It's slow, coming back down, but he gets there - with her help.

RWBY: Grim Tales
Undead Boyfriend
Glynda stared at her poster of Ozma in her office and sighed dreamily. Ozma was the wizard heartthrob of every witch and wizard's dream. Beautiful brown eyes, short, spiky black hair and a luscious green robe. Unfortunately, he was taken far too soon. The Dark Witch, Salem, had killed him and buried him deep within Remnant. Glynda had spent years perfecting a spell in order to resurrect him.
Glynda: The weather is perfect! Lightning should provide me with the energy I need. *pushes her cauldron to the center* Okay, time to perfect the brew.
Glynda gathered her ingridients and started making the potion. The first was water from the Domain of Light, next was the venom of a King Taijitu, then came the scarf of Ozma and finally was the ruby of resurrection. Pulling a switch from one of the walls, the skyline opened and lightning struck the cauldron.
Glynda: Yes! YES!!!! It's alive! IT'S ALIIIIIIVE!!!
Emerging from the cauldron was a tall man, wrapped in soaking bandages. He had silver-grey hair and emerald green eyes. He coughed a little before being embraced by Glynda.
Glynda: Oh my darling... Ozma? *breaks hug* Wait who are you?
Ozma: I'm Ozma. Ozma the Invincible? *smirks* Surely you've heard of me?
Glynda: B-But you're supposed to look like this! *shows poster*
Ozma: Of course I look like- *sees mirror behind Glynda* Wait a minute... *walks to mirror and jumps* what the hell happened to face?! What the hell happened my body?! *turns to Glynda* What did you do?!
Glynda: I did exactly as the book said! I made a potion designed to resurrect you. I even found a ruby of resurrection.
Ozma: Umm... there's no such thing as a ruby of resurrection. But there is a ruby of reincarnation, however.
Glynda: Uh... what's the difference?
Ozma: If I was resurrected, I'd be reborn in my old body. But because of the spell, my soul was placed in a completely new body.
Glynda: *slumps to the floor* Aw man! I messed up!
Ozma: So what brought this on? Why did you want me to walk upon Remnant again?
Glynda: *sighs* I... really wanted a handsome wizard boyfriend.
Ozma: Oh? *smiles* That sounds nice!
Glynda: Hm? You're not mad?
Ozma: Of course not! Being so beloved that a beautiful witch would want to revive me? I'm absolutely flattered. I'd love to be your boyfriend.
Glynda: *blushes and smiles* O-Okay!
Ozma: From this day forward, I vow to be the best boyfriend ever! *kisses Glynda*
Glynda: *kisses him back* Mmmm~ This is going to be the start of something wonderful~

How do you feel about OzGlyn, Cloqwork and Ozwood but with Ozcar instead of Ozpin?
Oh baby there is little to no way to make those ship not angsty or not dead dove as FUCK.
You can try, but to me because they just have so much expectation and a sense of longing for Ozpin both as a leader and a close friends that they just project that shit onto Oscar.
Maybe Glynda can move on from it, seeing that Oscar is his own person outside of Ozpin. And honestly, my boy is living that Giant Woman life right there (seriously, she's like 7' something). It just sucks that Glynda is not a character anymore, and Oscar is the only valid main character.
But for Ironwood and Qrow? Oh hell yeah, they gay asses will be in so much denial and projecting so much on that boy, nothing about their dynamic is wholesome. Especially Qrow, who has so much resentment yet yearning for Ozpin that he doesn't know what to do with it. And Oscar is there either willingly or not, has to pick up the pieces.
Ironwood got done so dirty, but I really liked the way he was so understanding to Oscar in Vol 7 as his own person, but deep down he is still waiting for Ozpin. Waiting for his friend. Good angst potential.
I just feel really frustrated because all 4 of these characters are fucked. And not by each other.
OzGlyn - 7/10 because it's really interesting
Cloqwork - 4/10 because I cannot stand Qrow
Ozwood - 7.5/10 hell yeah, love that angsty shit

RWBY Winter Tales
Kamen Rider Oz
VPD Officer, Glynda Goodwitch, was in hot pursuit on her motorbike as a large, bat-like creature flew into the air. She had never seen anything like this in her life. Earlier that night, she witnessed monster attempt to attack a group of people as they were leaving a party, severely injuring one of the girls. Her muscles tensed up as she grabbed a hold of her pistol, aiming to clip its wings. However, her helmet was obsucring her vision and made it difficult to get a clear shot.
Glynda: Damn it!
Suddenly, another motorbike leaped out of nowhere and slammed into the giant bat, knocking it to the ground. Glynda halted the break firmly and turned to see the incident. The other motorbike was completely unarmed, along with the rider. The bat-creature screeched in fury, but he seemed to be unfazed. Glynda's eyes shrank as she recognised him from the back. It was Ozpin.
Glynda: Ozpin, get out of the way! It's dangerous! *raises pistol*
Ozpin: *turns around* So am I.
He took out a small, rectangular metal device from his belt, posing dramatically.
Ozpin: Transform!
In a flash of green light, Ozpin switched from his jacket and jeans to a dark geen suit, with black armoured chest, gloves, boots and a black helmet with a light green visor. The bat lunged at him to attack, but he simply leaped into the air.
Ozpin: Oz Kick!
His light leg became a stream of fire as struck the bat's head, causing it to scream in pain. It tried to bite at Ozpin, but he retaliated with a strong uppercut.
Ozpin: Oz Fist!
From his holster, he drew a collapsable sword and charged towards the bat. It flew down to try and grab him with his talons, but Ozpin was just in time and sliced them off. He then placed his hand over the blade and it began to glow green.
Ozpin: Today justice shall prevail! Emerald Blade Attack!
Ozpin leaped into the air once more and slashed at the beast furiously. As he landed, the beast had crumbled into ash. Ozpin looked at Glynda and pushed a button on his belt, reverting to normal. She absolutely stunned.
Ozpin: I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier. I never meant to lie to you.
Glynda: Y-You're a... you're a superhero?
Ozpin: *nods* Yes. I'm a Kamen Rider, protector of Vale City.
Glynda: How did this happen? When did this happen? Why didn'f you-
Ozpin: Sweetheart, why don't we pick up this conversation when we get my place? It's starting to snow.
Glynda looked up and realised he was right. Small snowflakes started falling and tickled her skin with their cold touch.
Glynda: O-Okay. Shall I put on a coffee for us?
Ozpin: *smiles* Coffee sounds lovely.
