Scar was convinced CPK was an NPC for like 5 minutes, when he came back he had his MCC coin irl in his hand and he did a bit were he put a coin into CPK like a machine to get him to talk. What happend was, CPK talked, revealing he wasn't an NPC. Scar jumped and dropped the coin.

I’ve been thinking about pirate smp scar like. A lot a lot. So here’s a post that isn’t about him at all!

This is my version of the boatem au where Scar very much kills all of them and peaces out, but they’re not so quick to let that go!

Idk if there’s already a ghosts au but who cares! This started as an animatic in Scar’s POV I’m making which I had to take a break on bc of a wrist flare up, but you can watch the wip here if you’d like!

You all remember Scar's faction choosing? Yeah, it's been stuck in my head and my coursework and deadline ridden brain can't stop thinking of angst so, here we go.

So I can't stop thinking how p!Scar keeps saying that he let his crew sink, and also said he let his family sink during the Faction day. That's basically saying that he considered his crew as his family right???? Right?????

And he say he 'let them sink'. Like he didn't stop it. Or couldn't stop it. My brain wants to say that he is feeling guilty for being the only survivor while his crew, his family, died with the ship. And he couldn't bare the thought of making another family, only to loose them too because he couldn't stop it.

And sure, he is a great conma.... I mean, salesman, but that also means he is good with lies, so who's to say he isn't lieing about his feelings???

I'm seeing the common theory that p!Scar killed his previous crew for money and I totally 100% agree with it.

The crew of The Flying Jellie was, like any other band of pirates, wanted by the Navy for their terrorizing of the seas and ships. Before meeting Scar, they called themselves Boatem.

Scar offered them a place on his own ship after a navel one known as The Octagon destroyed theirs and it was a surprisingly beneficial arrangement...

...until it wasn't.

During a brief resupply in a port Scar was approached by two members of the Navy named Doc and Ren, who promised they'd pay him handsomely if he turned his crew in.

Scar being Scar of course and loving wealth, took the money but on the condition that he needed time to lure his crew into a trap that would in fact allow the navy to capture them. Doc & Ren, reluctantly agreed to his terms knowing that he was their best option as the navy were stretched thin enough as it was.

Of course, Scar is a shady businessman and had no intention of honoring those terms. Once he and his crew left port there was nothing really stopping him from running the payment from the navy AND the amount of wealth that his crew had acquired...

...so Scar murdered his crew, made off with their wealth on top of the money he got from Doc & Ren, and sunk his own ship to make it seem as if he and the crew were lost at sea.

He then made his way to The Faction Isles to start his schemes over anew as a Kestral.

I'm still so hung up about the lore of p!Scar killing boatem Scar for his hat because, like, are we ignoring that season 8 canonically just... didn't really exist? Like it was all a digital simulation! And even if you ignore that part, when would they have come across each other? Pre-moon big? But then how would Boatem have escaped? (If I remember correctly, wasn't Scar the one who built the ship they escaped on?) Or was it post-moon big? Does that mean they found another place to live after escaping the season 8 island? So then what happened to the rest of boatem crew?

I'm so normal about this, guys, I swear (is visibly shaking)

i hear people on the "scar killed his (boatem) crew by letting them sink" theory but i'm inclined to angst and so i much prefer the prospect that scar couldn't save them. i'm sure he did everything he could but if you go by popular fanon ideas of everyone, Pearl and Grian both have wings (and imagine trying to swim with waterlogged wings), Impulse is a demon (fire and water don't mix? idk), and Mumbo is. Well.. The living embodiment of a wet cat. Scar may have been the only one who could have even had a chance at surviving and rationalized his grief by telling himself he let them sink. Because it was the only way he could get by without accepting he couldn't have prevented their deaths.
