what do sunny and moony like to do together in their free time?<3 (including eclipse!)

Not sure if you meant to ask this on the blog or not, but ! ill answer it anyways :] with sun and moon on their own, literally anything to them is spending time, talking, doing their jobs together, even ranting about the staff with eachother. sun and eclipse, eclipse is more layed back, and doesn't talk as much as the other two, they just like sitting their with them, or giving gifts [which is one of their love languages] moon and eclipse, is about the same, but moon likes cracking alot of jokes, or just pranks. eclipse enjoys pranking him back. [sun isnt a big fan of them LMAO and just all of them together? just anything really, they all enjoy relaxing together after hours, cuddling and watching movies. note for ppl who dont know my au [THIS IS NOT TSAMS!]

Also lest we forget, those same Cl- channel proteins that fail to sufficiently hydrate mucus in the lungs are present all throughout the body and cause all KINDS of different problems.

While lung complications are huge and by far the biggest cause of mortality in people with CF, that's not the only place mucus is present and important, nor the only role for Cl-channels. Digestive and excretory issues like clogged ducts, electrolyte/pH imbalances, and enzymatic function including diabetes are all extremely common.

A drug which travels systemically and helps poorly functioning Cl- channels for those with the mutations which cause them to function poorly (or another one I've heard of which may be able to fully like, give artificial chloride channels to those with the mutations where they just absolutely don't work or are absent) would help all of that function normally.

(In a way I (a non-expert tbf) couldn't really conceive would be possible without like sci-fi nanobots in the blood type of things, like how do we help with truly uncountable numbers of microscopic proteins embedded in already microscopic cell walls like we cant put them in or fix them each manually, but they found a way!!!! Incredible)

Not only saving lives, but seriously improving QUALITY of that longer life - what a major fucking win!!!!

i think we should be talking about the semi-recent advancements in cystic fibrosis treatment like all the time every day. there hasn’t been a drug like this since AZT medications for HIV infection it is truly fucking miraculous and very important
