Where: Enchanted Crumbs Bakery With: @vampireleoniemonet
Work always seemed to be a bit slow on Monday afternoons, once everyone had had lunch and seemed to be tired of the first day of the week after eventful weekends. She was leaning on the counter of the bakery, currently alone with no coworkers around to chat with, bored out of her mind and wondering if she should sneak to the back to check on her phone since she was strict in not using it at the front.
But as she sipped on her third cup of coffee of the day, she looked at the door instead. She was waiting for a recently made friend and despite finding the vampire very closed off she did not think much about that, having found out that most vampires (not all) seemed to have this aura of mystery and loneliness around them. She guessed that it had something to do with the longevity of their lives and so had never asked deeply about it. She smiled her customer smile as the door opened while her gaze had drifted away before seeing the familiar face. "Hiii miss Leo," she greeted, her smile more familiar now.

@detectivexleo
Caleb wasn’t drunk, yet, but if his last time hanging out with Leo was any inclination, he would be soon. He sighed, looking around the living room, trying to ignore the thoughts of Maddy that seemed to be constantly creeping into his mind. She used that blanket when she napped on the couch. That’s the mug she drank her coffee out of. He needed advice and while it wasn’t the easiest thing for him to admit, he was glad that Leo was coming over to help out. Hearing the knock on the door, he opened it with a smile. “Hey, thanks.”

it’s about to get cheesy
@ccxleo
It’s inevitable for his office to smell like cheese. It doesn’t always smell like cheese, but the undeniable scent of freshly microwaved lasagna always clings to the walls after his noontime lunch breaks. At least seeing two emptied containers haphazardly stuffed into a backpack -- one, propped up on a desk that’s lined with photos of his wife and son -- could fill one with a sense of home.
He holds open the office door for his client, then gestures to the various chairs around the room. There’s hard wooden chairs, there’s plastic chairs with sunken cushions, and there are even bean bag chairs near a small carpet in the corner of the room. His focus, after all, is working with children and young adults. “Find a chair anywhere, kiddo!” he says. His chubby cheeks are pushed up in a familiar, puffy grin he’s always wearing for his clients. “So, what’s happening?” he asks. “How have you been doing?”

a dream is a wish... | leo
Elliot winced as he pulled down his shirt over the burnt skin, arching his back in ways that probably made it worse. He made a reminder to never go outside again, especially during daytime. The sun was no longer his friend. But Leo was, well. Leo was more than that, thankfully.
Now, what was worse than getting dressed was probably walking to the Beta house and navigating his way to Leo’s room. The burn made it harder to concentrate and he kept bumping into things, which, quite frankly, wasn’t all that different from how he actually was. He reached his door and knocked.
“Is Dr. Leo in the house?”

Hogsmeade Date || Quinn + Leo
Quinn couldn't help but bounce slightly as he waited for Leo to appear. Things with the Gryffindor had been going so much better than Quinn could have ever expected. Not only had their first date been a success, but Leo had asked him to Delilah and Rebekah's party just a few days later. There, the pair had danced, and drank, and even had a goodnight snog. It was exactly like Quinn had imagined dating to be.
Finally, Quinn could see his date approaching. "There you are," he said with a wide smile. "Ready to go?"

Midnight Reunion // Leo & Andromeda
Andromeda could scarcely remember the last time that she had been at Woodbay. Had it already been a year since she'd taken off after her volatile breakup with Joel? She hadn't even told anyone that she was leaving, just snuck out in the middle of the night, slipping silently across the grounds and over the fence and made her way into the world. When she had heard of the lock-down at her old academy - through the grapevine, of course - she had left her new place of residence immediately to make sure that things at her school were alright. She'd had friends there, friends she hadn't heard from in her year of self-imposed exile, friends that she missed dearly. It seemed a good a reason as any to return. She came back to the academy the same way she had gone, scaling the walls with her cat-like agility. She hadn't even had to use her claws. Opening one of the many side doors was no problem for the master thief, and so within minutes she was making her way down the hallway toward her old bedroom to deposit her belongings. Her bed looked like it hadn't been used since her last night in it. Good, she didn't have to worry about displacing anybody. Her gaze snapped across the room to where her roommate and sometimes friend Sayuri should be sleeping, but the Japanese girl was nowhere to be found. Perhaps she'd taken a leave of absence as well. Or was entertaining a lover. Andromeda's lips curled at the thought. She tossed her bag onto her bed and quickly removed herself from the room, shutting the door behind her. She took off in the direction of the boys dormitory.
Her steps were near silent in the hall. It was the middle of the night, and while she didn't think that anyone would be up to stop her, she didn't want to take any chances. No telling what a student or teacher would do when they found a strange girl lurking in their corridors. She cast the occasional glance around to make sure that she was indeed alone, quick to scurry into hiding should she hear any noise that had the possibility of being a person. Andromeda was lucky this evening. She reached her quarry's room without incident, though she had too much respect for the boy to barge right in. She knocked thrice, swift raps upon the wooden door. Leo. It made sense that Andromeda was friends with a boy named Leo, considering the cat thing and all. He was the driving force in her returning to Woodbay after her abrupt departure. She found that she had missed him during her time away. Belatedly she realize that his room could have changed while she was gone; she'd have a hard time explaining her presence to anyone besides her closest friend. Ah, well, nothing to be done now. She knocked again.

When Rome’s in Ruins | Ameleo
Amelia got out of her dark grey Volvo XC90, purse slung across her body, and took a quick perusal of herself in the window. Her hair fell in waves around her shoulders, tumbling over the green wool coat that covered a violet tunic and skinny jeans. Her feet were clad in suede boots that clung to her calves and she opened the back door to get her overnight bag out, wondering why she suddenly felt so nervous. She shook her head and locked the car before walking up to the small cabin on the main ranch property. She rapped on the door twice.

Big Brother // Leo
He couldn’t protect them. They were little brothers in his eyes, and it had been his decisions that lead them into slaughter. He remembers the way they’d fallen, lifeless limbs collapsing like a puppet snipped from its strings. And their eyes – oh, their eyes – faded dull as old coins. He’d failed them all.
All he had left were grave markers and wilting flowers.
Severe mutilation. Numb to all feeling as he took out his rage on a corpse. The wishing that creature would live again, so he could take it’s life for each of his fallen friends. He had to be dragged away kicking and screaming out of the portal because it was a sheer miracle that the breakdown hadn’t turned him into a familiar.
He’s always smiled when feeling unpleasant emotions; it was something he simply couldn’t help. As he dropped to his knees to pull weeds out from the granite stones, his smile twitched. His mind was steady and clear, but his inappropriate expression was simply a nervous reflex. “I’m sorry,” he sighed. “I haven’t checked on you in awhile. All these weeds have taken over, but don’t worry. I’ll do better from now on. I’ve been an awful big brother, haven’t I?”

we'll play hide and seek to turn this around || elliot & leo
Elliot had been pacing his room for the last hour, so much so that he was surprised there wasn't an indent in the wood flooring. He ran his fingers through his mess of curls, wondering what he could do to make up for what he had done. To say he felt bad was an understatement, he was guilty beyond words and he honestly hoped he hadn't messed up whatever him and Leo could be. But it's not like he was looking for a relationship, no. He wasn't ready for that, wasn't sure he'd ever be. What he went through with his last boyfriend still haunted him, it stopped him from sleeping, stopped him from getting close to anyone. Granted it's only been a month since he ran away from home, still. It was hard to get over two years of solid abuse. Abuse that made him afraid of loud noises, that made him flinch every time someone touched him. Abuse that made him learned to hate himself. It took him some time, but Elliot managed to pull himself out of his room and found himself outside Leo's door, the stench of weed making his nose scrunch up. It was something he had become accustomed to, his ex smoked all the time. Sucking in a breath, he knocked on the door before letting himself in, poking his head between the space. "Hey," he said softly as found Leo on the bed and stepped inside, closing the door behind him. He fiddled with the sleeve of the light blue sweater he wore, which was paired with his black skinny jeans on his thin thighs. He walked over to the bed and sat down on the edge hesitantly, unsure of how unpredictable the other will be. Elliot chewed on his lip, keeping quiet in fear of saying something that won't matter seeing how intoxicated Leo was.

Battle of Spirits || Quinn + Leo
Quinn smirked as Leo rushed off to find more alcohol. He was well aware of his reputation as the most vanilla of the vanilla, and for the most part he was okay with that. It increased his authority as a prefect. But, he was also no stranger to alcohol, and despite Rory's claims, could easily hold his own in a good, old-fashioned drinking contest, as Leo was about to learn. He looked up to see the other boy heading towards him. His smirk grew larger, and he held his own glass up in a toast. "Ready to lose?"

a date to remember // leo+meg
Wear something you can get wet, he had said to her. She had no idea why he wanted her to, but she didn't question it. Megan trusted Leo and knew it would be nothing bad or that would frighten her. She left her room in a pair of light washed denim shorts and a sheer white tribal printed shirt with a pink bikini top under. Her hair was down and curled at the ends and she was wearing a white flower crown. Megan was very nervous about going on a date; let alone her first date. But she desperately tried not to think about it as she waited outside where they were staying in Greece for her "date". The dark haired girl swayed lightly as she looked around to see the sights. She was having a good time so far, and could only hope that this would only add on to the good memories.

{to the sea} sophia & leo
The sweet summer days most writers would so eagerly describe in their songs had been feeling nothing but scaulding and uncomfortable to Sophia Lawson. Still, those writers probably didn't go through half as much exercise as she did, daily. Training sessons had been rough and filled with sweater, and each time more she found herself in desperate need for refreshment after practising. A dive would absolutely come in handy. The beach was definitely not her most frequented place at camp - in fact, it was probably only her second or third time in the year to visit it - but the sea's calm and fresh appearance potential seemed more welcoming than ever. After an exhausting session, the girl rushed to her cabin and changed from her dirty, casual clothing to a green bikini suit, throwing a summer dress - the sort of outfit she would rarely ever wear. But neither would she commonly visit the beach, so it was only coherent to wear a matching outfit. She'd been glad to find company. Leo was a good friend and, perhaps with him being the son of Poseidon, her diving experience could be somehow more interesting. Or he could simply use the advantage of his powers to make tricks, that wouldn't surprise her. Those were the thoughts that occupied her mind as she strolled towards the beach in her light flip-flops.
The sand burnt under her feet as Sophia first stepped onto the beach. It was already past lunch time, so the sun was not too high up in the sky, thankfully, but it still left its warmth into the sandy floor under her. In slow steps, the girl paced around as her eyes wandered through her surroundings. Nobody else could be found, nearby. The sea was unruffled, with little to no amount waves at all, and sparkled in a beautiful shade of blue, reflecting the sky upon it. As she observed the striking and calming landscape, Sophia sat down. The warm sand that irradiated to her body only made her more eager to dive into the ocean and refresh herself from what the day had brought her, so far, but she thought it would be good and polite to wait for her friend's arrival. And so, she did, without unlocking her eyes from the sea before her for not even a second.

Hard Day's Night || Augusten x Leo
Augusten had spent his day in a relatively unproductive manner. He had made his way to the fresh food market to buy fruit, he had made the money he had spent back by busking in Central Park and he had made a six second video of pigeons bathing themselves in a puddle and had posted it on Vine, much for his very own entertainment.
He'd checked the time on his watch after a second consecutive hour of watching early seasons of The Simpson's and realized that Liz would be home from work soon if she wasn't home already. A smile formed on his face and he hopped up almost immediately, slamming his laptop shot and scurrying into the kitchen to retrieve the fruit salad he had made to welcome her home that day.
Much like a puppy dog waiting for his master to return, wagging tail and all, Gus made his way to Lizzy's apartment and knocked rhythmically on the door, awaiting a response and expecting Liz, if not her roommate Leo who Augusten was rather fond of indeed. Humming to himself and snacking on a stray raspberry in the bowl, he straightened his t-shirt, a worn old shirt he'd acquired during a production of Grease during college, he had played Danny Zuko rather proudly at the time and retained the faded t-shirt to prove it. "Hello?" he called out pressing his ear to the door "It's Augusten" he added for good measure.

lumiere, darling | elleo
Elliot ruffled his fingers through his hair, taking one last look in the mirror before pulling himself away long enough to forget what he looked like and stepped back in front of his reflection. A white, short sleeved shirt replaced the cotton sweaters he liked to wear, but his blue jeans still clung to his legs as if they would never come of.
Sixteen minutes past and Elliot was late. Being late was never a good thing for him. In a rush, he forgot his phone and one of his black Vans remained untied as he left his frilly apartment and hustled down the stairs--good thing he was on the second floor. He pushed open the front, glass doors with a huff and looked to see Leo leaning up against the wall. He ran his fingers through his now disheveled hair and grinned, pushing back whatever voice that scolded him for being a two minutes and thirty-six seconds late.
“Hi.”

pumped up kicks ; leo
@ccxleo
Sunggyu wasn’t fully recovered, but he insists on fighting as though he were. He’s sweating after a few steps, but his eyes show no weakness. Stubbornness keeps him standing. Determination keeps his blood flowing. Sheer willpower is what keeps his hands gripped around the scythe, even if he leans against it for support.
“I can’t believe these are the lightest limbs on the market,” he says. “It feels like my shoulder is about to be ripped off.”
He fears that he’s been sitting at home for too long. In his eyes, recovery time warps into nothing but the laziness. Sunggyu is supposed to be resting, but the hero’s heart that keeps him fighting won’t let him relax. “Alright, it’s time for round two,” he says. The man rolls up the sleeves of his reaper’s coat, then takes a steady breath. No matter what it takes, he’s going to whip himself back into special class shape. He needs to be able to look his rookies in the eye, then have his authority respected. “I hope you’re ready!” he says, gritting his teeth.
He runs as hard as he can, compromised speed be damned! But as he lifts his arms overhead to swing his scythe, his automail arm throws him off balance. His left leg swings out in a poor attempt to regain his center of gravity, but he falls to the floor. His metallic limbs clang against the floor of the training room and he sits there, stunned that someone like him could fall on his own ass. “Shit!” he snaps. The stress is getting too much for him. between the constant pain, baekhyun’s meddling, and caring for his fallen heroes, he himself could honestly use some recovery time. But he insists, as he always does, to push himself to his limits – then break those limits day after day.
Sunggyu throws his scythe in frustration and runs his hands through his silky, dark hair. His lips push out in a pout as he looks up to Leo. “How about a round three? I need to at least be able to run in a straight line before I go home.”

Sometimes It's just life {Leo+Nadine}
