Hey there! Since this is my first post on Tumblr, I am going to introduce myself. My name is Trifectme. I have been posting about my path of Ifunny for almost 2 years now. Woohoo!

So, we (my wife and I) were each given $150 from her dad for Christmas. She got an extra $75 in Wal-Mart card, I got a $50 check from my parents (along with the most painful, obligated card I've ever read in my life, fucking cunt canoes...). Tonight, we went CRAZY. She's ordering all these religious books she needs, plus video games. And me? 24" turquoise Huffy. Bike pump. Lock. Basket. 3" blade oil-slick reflective pocketknife for a new athame. Kuan Yin bracelet to honor my Goddess-Mother as part of my wearable altar. A book of personal experiences with Her. I will also be getting some appropriately sized pants (to my horror, the Mirena has had me pack on 23 pounds and shows little hope of slowing its course, and it's all in the damned hips and ass) and bras (always bigger, always painful, fuck that). Just about on-budget for everything except the clothing, which is a personal expense. Give it a week or two, and we will have viable transportation again! I also cried when my wife (who monitors my spending habits) told me I really should get my athame and bracelet, and that she would handle the animal chow and phones. I bawled. I am...not used to being allowed my own spiritual implements, not when I live with a shaman and am essentially her aide. Shaman comes first, my Gods say. That I am being allowed this is...I am doing something right. Also, wife's dad randomly gave us $350. Uh. Yeah. Dog food, savings account. Emphasis on savings. ...and I found $57 in the bushes outside Dunkin' Donuts the day we went to see the special Hobbit marathon. DEAR GODS, I AM FINALLY DOING SOMETHING RIGHT! I am allowed small luxuries and basic living! Not something many people would understand, but my Gods are harsh. I live with and love a shaman, and often walk the path adjacent to hers. Life itself, being allowed to continue living, is a blessing. Health and prosperity are even greater ones. In the life of a shaman or similar path, if you fail, you die. I am not dead. I am alive. And moreover, I am comfortable. The Gods are very kind.
