JOHN: but other than that, the sky is the limit.

JOHN: really, what do we do?

JOHN: do i go back to when we were just starting to play the game, and give us some advantages?

JOHN: but then, messing up our session causes this whole chain reaction...

JOHN: we never would have met the trolls, or had any reason to scratch the session...

JOHN: and if we didn't scratch the session, there never would have been an alternate reality where roxy and her pals got to play, thereby meeting us...

JOHN: when you start looking back and realizing how interrelated everything is, it starts feeling like an overwhelming job to fix it.

JOHN: on the one hand, you don't want to change so much that the reality you create is barely recognizable.

JOHN: you want to keep everything as similar as possible, so you get to keep all the lessons you learned and the important experiences you had with your friends.

JOHN: but on the other hand...

JOHN: if you aren't going to change something substantial enough to make a real difference, why bother at all?

JOHN: it's like, go big or go home, you know?

JOHN: sort of a catch 22 when you think about it.

JOHN: is any of this making sense?

JOHN: terezi?

Chapter 7

The quiet humming of the electric motor was the only noise he heard while driving through the snow covered landscape. Robin nervously tapped his fingertips on the plastic dashboard of the self driving car and cursed what felt like the hundredth time the remote location of the CyberLife Tower.

A few days ago he had still been part of the police investigations but after the last events the FBI had taken over the case and Robin had no excuse to stay. Connor had tried to convince Hank, that there must be something for them to do, but the ill-humoured lieutenant had enough experience to know when the battle was lost.

Robin had gone home, sitting around indecisively, before he got up again the visit CyberLife.

The revolution had reached its peak and the public opinion favored the android nation. CyberLife as a company soon would no longer exist and Robin was eager to see, what Kamski had left for him in his safe, before he could no longer access it.

The car stopped next to the security booth and Robin rolled down the window.

„Mr. Atkins, heading for a night shift?“, the security guard asked, as he recognized the technician.

„Is there work to do?“

„The androids at the facility have to be deactivated.“, the guard replied. „They'll be brought down to the workshop one by one. They sure can use your help down there.“

„Alright.“, Robin nodded. „I'll see what I can do.“

His way however did not lead him to the workshop. He still intended to find out about the mysterious contents of the safe, so he went upstairs to the offices. Nobody would be there that late at night. Everyone was busy trying to somehow safe the companies name and it was a breeze to enter unnoticed.

He couldn't shake the feeling that he had to remain unseen. Robin had his access card, he was authorized and it wasn't like what he did was illegal, but still...

Kamskis office looked like it always had. Though he had long been absence, not a speck of dust could be seen on the dark furniture. Robin rounded the desk and opened the wall panel he knew was hiding the safe. Pondering he tapped one finger on his chin.

„I know the password, he said... hm...“

Kamski wasn't the type to used important dates as a password, contrary to Robin, but it was worth a shot. He tried 7172, the 17thJuly 2002, Kamskis birth date, but the display blinked red.

Robin made a face, hesitating for a moment, shrugged and tried his own. The 9th August 2009: 9909. Much to his surprise the display lit up green and the safe opened up with a click. Bewildered he opened to door and took the papers inside.

It was a project folder of a prototype Robin had never seen before. He flipped through the pages, but he couldn't make out what was so special about it. One last look into the now empty safe though told him there was nothing else.

Confused he stuffed the folder into the inner pocket of his jacket, closed the safe and left.

The elevator brought him to level 37, where the workshops were located. Contrary to the offices, they were full of people. Out of fear of the android rebellion it was ordered to deactivate every android found, even those who did not deviate yet.

„What is this supposed to be, if I may ask?“, he asked, stopping in the doorway. The attendants looked up mid conversation.

„Mr. Atkins!“, one of the men stammered. „What are you doing here?“

Helplessly he looked to his colleagues, who seemed to be just as overwhelmed as him.

„I hope there is a good reason, why I wasn't informed about this operation.“, Robin said and crossed his arms. These were his subordinates after all.

„Orders from above,“, one of the women answered. „Just to be safe. I can accompany you to the management if you like?“

The young woman was smiling but it was obvious that she tried to hide her nervousness. Robin furrowed his brows. Something wasn't right here. The managment Robin was supposed to speak to wasn't even in the house and the woman who wanted to lead him to them was almost afraid of him. In the corner of his eye, he could see security approaching. It was time to act.

Quickly Robin took a step back and let the automatic door slide shut before sealing it with a code. There was a second door to this area but it would take some time until they found someone with the authorization to open it.

The security sped up when they realized what Robin was going to do, they even opened fire against him. He quickly maneuvered around some massive flower pots for cover.

With more luck than actual skills he managed to take them down one by one. Their heavy armor made it hard for them to move, and Robin was fast. He left them behind, trying to escape the building as soon as possible.

Connor was fixing his tie when the elevator suddenly stopped.

With a loud ping the display lit up as the doors opened at level 37. Behind them Robin wiped his hands on his jacket, to his feet a security guard.

„Hey Connor!“, the young man said surprised, laughing nervously. „This is totally not what it looks like“

Robin gaze wandered down to the two men lying on the floor of the elevator.

„Oh...“, he said quietly, his face a walking question mark.

„I came to free the androids remaining at CyberLife.“, Connor explained shortly and Robin nodded.

„Good. Then this is exactly what it looks like.“

He carefully stepped over the dead bodes inside the elevator, before the doors were closing again.

„Did you find what you were looking for?“, Connor asked after a while, but Robin snorted.

„Not really...“, he replied. „I found blueprints for a prototype he never finished. Maybe he wants me to work for him again, who knows...“

As the elevator descended the glazing of the vent made it possible for them to see into the foyer below. The view would have been impressive but Robin couldn't appreciate it right now, as the security guards started to enter the building. A look to the camera in the upper left of the elevator explained how they had found them.

„Shit...“, Connor cussed and Robin shot him a surprised look.

„Did you just cuss?“, he asked bewildered but quickly cleared his throat. „That's a lot of security.“

„You'll take down the two on the right and I'll take care of the rest?“, Connor suggested and Robin nodded. Who would have thought the day would end like this?

Connor snatched the guards pistil and picked him up to his him as a shield. Robin hid behind the androids back when the door opened and hoped the men would find Connor a more urgent matter than him.

His plan did work out. The guards opened the fire as soon as the RK800 left the elevator and ignored the unarmed man behind him. Just as before Robin simply knew what parts he had to hit to take down to the guards. At least he wasn't on his own.

Connor emptied the pistols chamber and dropped it on the floor.

„Are you okay?“, he asked and Robin nodded.

„Yeah... I feel a little dizzy.“, he said slowly. „I usually don't exercise that much.“

The young man pressed a hand into his side to get the piercing pain he felt in his side under control.

„Give me a minute. Just do, whatever you came here to do.“

Connor nodded and moved forward. The whole room was full of androids lined up in rows to his left and right. The RK800 approached one of them as he had to start somewhere. He grabbed his arm and initiated the conversion, but was interrupted when he heard a familiar voice.

„Keep calm, bastard...“

Of one of the rows lieutenant Hank Anderson stepped out, followed by a second RK800, a loaded pistol in hand.

„Stay back, Connor!“, he shouted at him. „And he may live.“

„I'm sorry Connor...“, Hank muttered and made a face. „This bastard is like your twin.“

Connor still held on the androids arm, while Robin slowly stepped closer. His eyes switched between him and the doppelganger, furious that Connor had been replaced already. The other Connor looked at him. His eyes showed no emotion.

„Decide now what is more important to you.“, he said, holding his gaze. „He or the revolution.“

Connor didn't move and seemed to weigh his options.

„Androids do not feel. We are not human.“, the doppelganger continued. „You tell yourself it is different, but it's not.“

He suddenly looked over to Robin.

„Just look at you.“, he said with a monotone voice. „No matter how much you pretend to, no matter how much you behave and live like humans, in the end you are nothing but machines.

Hank followed his gaze, and he must have seen something Robin had not, because suddenly his eyes widened in shock, as did Connors.

Robin didn't dare to look down. His hand, that was still pressed against his side, was wet as he lifted it, fearing it would be painted red by his blood, but all he saw was blue.

Confused his eyes wandered down to his wound, he must have gotten shot earlier without noticing. Why didn't he notice? And why was his shirt drained in thirium blue?

The blood, or was it thirium, was buzzing in his ears, and he could no longer hear what was being said around him. There was a rumbling, someone shouted. Eventually there was a shot.

Robin only moved again, when Hank shook his shoulders.

„Hey punk!“, he said and slapped his face. „Wake up!“

Robins head shot up. With wide eyes he looked at the lieutenant.

„Ouch...“, Robin complained and Hank sighed in relief.

„For a second I thought we lost you...“

Robin blinked a few times before looking around. His mouth opened in shock when he spotted Connors body lying on the ground, but Hanks stopped him quickly.

„That's the doppelganger!“, he said. „Connor has left to help Marcus.“

„Hank... I'm an Android.“, Robin said quietly when the realization finally hit him. Hank snorted.

„I can see that.“, he replied. „When did you plan to tell us?“

„I didn't know...“

Hank looked at him in disbelieve. The young man seemed honestly shaken by this revelation, but how could he not have known.

„You're shitting me, aren't you?“

„I don't know... I was human, I know that I...“, Robin muttered. „The accident... he must have done it after the accident...“

Hank didn't know what to do. Nobody had told him how to handle an android with an existential crisis. Nervously he eyes the dripping wound.

„Should we... patch this up?“, he asked and cleared his throat. „I don't want you to bleed out.“

Robin blinked and inspected his wound. Carefully he pulled the bullet out, turning it curiously around.

„I don't think it's bad...“, he said eventually. „Do you happen to have some tape on you? Or something like that?“

Hank shook his head. The building was full of office rooms, there had to be tape somewhere.

„Come on, punk.“, he said eventually and helped Robin get up. „Don't you have a workshop in here somewhere? Wouldn't that be better for fixing?“

„No. I... I locked up some people in there.“, he said slowly. „They were not happy to see me, like at all.“

Hank laughed and supported the young man with his shoulder. Together they moved to the elevator. If they were lucky, Connor had taken out the guards on his way, clearing the way for them, Hank sure wasn't in any condition to fight.

I don’t know about you, but i’m not going down without a fucking fight here. I totally understand if you’re too upset to do anything about this right now, but if you want, you can use these links to file complaints with Netflix over the cancellation of Sense8:

Netflix Help Center - Scroll to the bottom and click Start Live Chat to be put in touch with a real rep from Netflix. Let them now you are upset about the cancellation, that you’re very very interested in further seasons, and that the show is very important in the current cultural and political climate.

Netflix Request TV Shows Tool - Type Sense8 in one of the title slots and send. It’s useless to do this more than once, though, they keep track of what each customer requests and your request for any one show or movie will only be valid once

Netflix twitter account - This is just their main, but there’s quite a few different ones. Tweet at all of them. Use the hashtag #renewsense8. Let them know you’re upset about the cancellation and would love to see more seasons. 

Above all, please always be civil, respectful, and calm. Yelling gets us nowhere.

Hey guys, it’s been brought to my attention that there are more things we could do to help save the show in addition to signing the petition. I found the following methods from the Facebook group posted on the petition page. Please join and spread the word.

Tell them how much you love the show, what it means to you, how the show never got a fair shot because of the lack of promotions from Netflix, and how they need to bring it back for another season. There are so much story left to be told, the show was never intended for only one season. I fully believe that the show would have so much success if it was promoted more and was given more time on air before it was axed. Hi there! Could you please spread words on your Tumblr about how people from other countries than the US can call Netflix too? I see people claiming they can only phone them from the USA but that's not true. At least from Germany you can call them as well. Check for a phone number on the bottom on their help page.

DON'T LET NETFLIX TAKE SENSE8 AWAY FROM US

Okay, so Netflix announced today that the show Sense8 has officially been cancelled. Do NOT let them get away with this! I know how much this show means to other people and how much it means to me personally! If you really care about this show and you want it back, here are a few things you can do! 

 1. Request that they renew Sense8

So, Netflix had a wonderful web page where you can actually request shows and movies to be added to Netflix. If you want, use this link and fill out the short form to try to get Sense8 back!

If you want a more direct approach than just suggesting that they make a new season, call their customer service number and tell them what you think about them cancelling the show!

I also just want to share about what this show means to me and to its many fans. For me, I was incredibly inspired by the diversity that was depicted in the show. I became incredibly attached to the characters due to the way they lived their lives without shame or fear. Two of the characters that inspired me the most were Nomi Marks and Lito Rodriguez. Nomi’s words of wisdom always made me reevaluate my thinking and Lito showed me that living your life without fear of what others think is the most important thing you can do. If this show isn’t renewed, of course I’ll be upset, but I really want to thank the writers of the show as well as the actors that portrayed these incredible characters. That said, this show means the world to me, so please, don’t let it die.

Trying to move Girl Meets World to another network masterpost

I just want to start off by saying thank you to everyone for helping out, whether it be by signing a petition, commenting about the show, or spreading the word about how we are trying to get it renewed by another network. There’s a lot of information going around about how to try and save the show so I figured making this post might be useful to some. To start off, please don’t be hateful or rude to any cast, crew, writers, or even Disney Channel. This doesn't help in any way and we should be showing other networks like Netflix and Hulu how much the show means to such a huge audience and how it’ll benefit them.

We are trying to get the show picked up by another network, such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Freeform, etc. We gotta make our voices heard and show them just how many people want this show.

The first one is more so to get other networks interested in picking up the show, the second is more directed towards the fact that Disney technically has the rights to the show and they would have to give them up to allow another network to take over it. 

I know a lot of people are focusing on Netflix but Hulu is an option we must seriously consider and fight for since it might be easier to get Disney on board with it.
