thinking about when i gave some very mild advice about pageflow and panel ordering on twitter a year or so ago because i got annoyed by how often i saw people use arrows and numbers to define the reading order in their amateur comics and someone got really mad and freaked out and called me an elitist asshole or something and then blocked me

UI/UX Inspiration by PageFlows: Crafting Seamless User Experiences
In the ever-evolving world of digital design, finding the right balance between aesthetics and functionality is crucial. UI/UX Inspiration by PageFlows offers a refreshing perspective on how design principles can be harmonized to create intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning digital products. By focusing on user flow, accessibility, and visual clarity, PageFlows aims to inspire designers to innovate without compromising usability. This article explores how PageFlows brings fresh ideas to the table and showcases how such inspiration can elevate the user experience to new heights.
One of the core aspects of UI/UX design is the user journey. PageFlows emphasizes the importance of understanding how users interact with a website or application at every step. From the moment they land on the page to their final action, every interaction should feel purposeful. This involves streamlining the design to eliminate friction points and reduce cognitive load. By focusing on user flow, PageFlows encourages designers to create seamless transitions between pages and states, fostering a sense of control and comfort for users.
Another key area where PageFlows excels is in its commitment to accessibility. A beautiful design is meaningless if it’s not inclusive. PageFlows advocates for designing with accessibility in mind, ensuring that users with diverse needs, whether visual, auditory, or motor-related, can navigate and enjoy the experience. By implementing features like high-contrast color schemes, keyboard navigability, and text-to-speech functionalities, PageFlows promotes a user-centric approach that values inclusivity and diversity.
Visual design plays a critical role in user experience, and PageFlows recognizes the need to strike a perfect balance between beauty and clarity. The use of minimalist design principles, combined with intuitive icons and a clean layout, allows the content to shine without overwhelming the user. Designers are encouraged to think in terms of creating an emotional connection through design, using visuals to evoke certain feelings that align with the purpose of the product. The inspiration provided by PageFlows helps designers understand how aesthetics can be a driving force in building memorable experiences that resonate with users.
A powerful component of PageFlows' UI/UX inspiration is its emphasis on responsive design. In today’s multi-device world, users access websites and apps from various screens and resolutions. PageFlows encourages designers to think about the adaptability of their designs, ensuring that they are fluid and responsive. Whether it’s a desktop, tablet, or mobile device, the user experience should remain consistent and enjoyable. This approach not only improves usability but also increases user retention, as users are more likely to return to platforms that adapt to their needs seamlessly.
Furthermore, PageFlows places a strong emphasis on user testing and iterative design. The inspiration it provides isn't just theoretical; it’s rooted in real-world feedback and data. Designers are encouraged to constantly test their designs with real users, iterating based on insights gathered. This process helps ensure that the product is continuously evolving and improving, keeping the user’s needs at the center of the design process. By embracing this cyclical approach, PageFlows fosters a design culture of constant improvement and refinement.
In conclusion, UI/UX Inspiration by PageFlows serves as a valuable resource for designers looking to create meaningful, user-centered digital experiences. By focusing on user flow, accessibility, aesthetics, and responsiveness, PageFlows provides a comprehensive approach to crafting exceptional interfaces that cater to a wide range of users. The inspiration it offers helps designers not only meet but exceed user expectations, leading to products that are not only functional but delightful to interact with. As digital design continues to advance, PageFlows remains a beacon of innovation, guiding designers toward the creation of future-forward user experiences.

But more in-depth editing features and filters are missing. It remains to be seen whether Google will still add these functions to the video editor. Quickly crop your videos and find all those perfect moments. OpenShot has many easy ways to cut your video. In addition to the excellent software, QR Suite offers good advice. In contrast to static codes that do not offer these features, a so-called short URL is used for this, which links to the content encrypted in the code. Due to the widespread use of smartphones, QR codes are now mostly used for mobile marketing purposes. Print media such as flyers, posters, catalogs or business cards can be supplemented with digital content such as websites, videos, PDFs, picture galleries or contact details. In the second step, the content to be encrypted is entered before an individual design with the appropriate coloring and logo embedding can be carried out. Finally, the code just has to be downloaded and is then ready for printing. With dynamic QR codes, you are completely flexible, as only a short URL that points to the content is encrypted. Present the result on social networks or on the web. Creating and sharing a professional short film or presentation has never been so easy. The Pageflow CMS thus enables even less technical users to work intuitively. With Premiere Clip, you can import and edit clips anywhere and present the finished video - all conveniently on your smartphone. Learn more about what you can do with Creative Cloud video tools. You can still buy the watermark removal feature, but you can't beat that price on the other hand, because it's a unique and user-friendly app. It also includes a feature that makes it easy to record good quality voiceovers directly in WeVideo. You can export your finished cut video with "DaVinci Resolve" either in container format MXF or "classic" as MP4 or. It is also possible to save the projects appropriately for the programs "Final Cut Pro" or "Adobe Premiere". Image sequence formats such as DPX and TIFF are also no problem.
The files are then automatically transcoded into different target formats & sizes.
Also worth mentioning is the perspective 3D tracking.
Depending on your taste, you can choose color borders or bars for shadows, mids, highlights, log and offset.
The download is in a zip file, which is free and without limits.
The CHIP installer only downloads this download quickly and securely via the CHIP high-speed server, so that a trustworthy origin is ensured. Li > ul>

Take advantage of our online support center with FAQs, "how-to" instructions and eBooks to get tips and creative ideas. We would be happy to help you make your QR code marketing a success. The associated full-screen navigation ensures a unique narrative style and depth. Thanks to the use of HTML5 elements, the omission of Flash and largely barrier-free markup, the reports created can be used on many modern devices. Premiere Pro and After Effects are part of Creative Cloud. Various subscription options are available for individual users and companies. Users put effort into dealing with your advertising - so offer them a benefit. The use of a mobile website with interesting content adapted to the display size of a smartphone has proven to be a success factor.

Leica store exhibition
Tumblr media
The rest of July and all of August, over 120 photos are exhibited at the Leica store in Amsterdam. 12 stories, the oldest dating back to 2012 give an impression of what I have been doing the last couple of years. The exhibition is divided over six large flatscreens and photos pass by in a nice flow. One TV even has sound, so I decided to exhibit two of the stories that I create in pageflow as well, as they have a certain flow, text ánd sound.
Tumblr media
July 18th was opening night and I was honoured that so many friends came to check it out. Even coming all the way from Rotterdam. As always on such nights, you totally forget to document a thing. Luckily Karin Kooijwas there with her new Leica M10, grabbing some nice moments. Thanks a lot Karin.

Scratch notes on comic writing
This is mostly me cataloging some things I’ve been coming across as I shift to actual scripting as opposed to doing everything on the page, so take what’s useful to you and discard what isn’t.
- The general flow I’ve been hitting is Synopsis > Story Beats > Page Beats > Script. Synopsis: A general summation of events. Story Beats: The major events within a story; each “beat” is a moment that the story requires to move forward. This cuts down on fluff and helps to avoid wandering away from the plot. Page Beats: Taking the story beats and plotting out how they lay out on each page. Each page typically contains only one or two major story beats; on rare occasion, a single beat can spread over multiple pages. Script: Using the Story and Page Beats as my outline, I can start actually writing dialog and basic staging.
- Clip Studio Paint/Manga Studio 5 EX’s Story feature is immensely handy; one can use the Story Editor to copy/paste directly from your script into the comic, and have all your dialog available to edit in one file. It’s finicky as hell and can potentially run the file down slow if you’re using a custom font, but it also allows for changing all the text in your comic to a different setting, thus swapping out all pages’ fonts for another of your choosing. REALLY handy when you’ve finally got that perfect font you want to use for everything.
- I really like gag pages. I mean, REALLY like them. But they have a tendency to slow things down and pad things out way longer than necessary. If the gag isn’t contained within a story beat, it usually isn’t worth it to take time away from the story for it.
- It’s difficult to keep your dialog focused, but one way I’ve managed to keep things more concise is by keeping a message or theme for any project I’m working on visible. A story tends to work better when each piece of dialog and each panel contributes to the theme or message in some way. Sometimes it’s fun to break away for a chance to develop characters, though, so as long as you can keep a bulk of it contributing towards a specific narrative end-goal, you can justify small story breaks to build up a character.
- End each page as if you’re beckoning the reader to read the next one. Comics are far easier and breezier to read if the story naturally compels you to keep turning the page. You don’t do this by cliffhangers but by transitions. Each page has to set up the next page in a sensible way. Naturally this doesn’t work for daily strips or gag comics, but it’s vital for longer narratives. Characters in the process of changing actions, major beats ending on the last panel to set up the next beat, even visual flow leading off the page to beckon the reader to turn or click to the next can help make things feel easier to read when consuming in bulk.
- If it doesn’t flow, it’s a bad page (with few exceptions). You can put any amount of dialog you want, any amount of detail in the art, et cetera, but if the reader doesn’t know where their eye is supposed to go next, it becomes laborious to read. Word balloon placement, perspective lines, character gestures and sight lines -- all these help to move the eye naturally through the page. Sometimes you can use this to your advantage in making the reader disoriented on purpose, but it requires understanding HOW pageflow works.
- To capitalize on the previous point: Clever, dynamic, wild page layouts can often work against you. While you can definitely impress with a well composed layout that’s fun to look at, it can make reading and pageflow stutter. Great composition tends to start with making sure the point of the page is captured from its earliest stages; sometimes it really is okay to do a boring 9-panel grid if it sells the point better than any other layout you could come up with.
- World balloon placement can also dictate the flow and pace of a conversation. The closer balloons are, the quicker it’ll read in the reader’s head. The further away, the more of a pause there will be. This can help with capturing an organic flow of dialog, introducing small pauses between lines, which can help capture a character’s cadence in ways text alone might not.
- Plot out your comic at least a little bit in advance. I’m up to Chapter 4 of my own comic in scripting and planning, and have all of Chapter 1 laid out with text loaded into it, so I always try to know what I have to look forward to and what I’m building toward. It pays to read it regularly at each stage, take notes of things you’d like to add or wrinkles you’d like to put in, so forth, because it is very easy to get tunnel vision and forget how your pages fit together as part of a cohesive whole. Be mindful when reading, and try to have one or two other folks willing to look over your work and ask questions about what they’re reading.
- When making comics, watch movies regularly and often. Good and bad. Seriously, it’s very helpful in coming up with layouts and compositions.
