Sono andata a vedere Red al cinema, il film d'animazione Disney Pixar uscito un paio di anni fa e ho pianto tutte le mie lacrime durante il discorso madre-figlia della scena del rituale finale 🥹

Inoltre ho adorato il rapporto di amicizia così profondo tra la protagonista e il suo gruppo di amiche strambe e totalmente diverse l'una dall'altra soprattutto nel carattere.

PS: Solo io ho visto la scena post credit dopo tutti i titoli di coda del padre della protagonista che balla con i gadget dei 4Towns?

PPS: Ho l'autografo della doppiatrice della protagonista Meilin Lee!! Chiara Fabiano, me lo sono fatta fare questa estate al comix XD Non sapevo avesse doppiato anche questo personaggio!

In Australia sta esplodendo uno scandalo intorno alle misurazioni delle temperature nelle stazioni meteorologiche in tutto il paese. Nei giorni scorsi, il Bureau of Meteorology, il dipartimento del governo australiano che si occupa del monitoraggio del clima e delle temperature, ha pubblicato i risultati delle misurazioni termiche, sottolineando – ovviamente col solito allarmismo – un aumento della temperatura di 0,7 gradi (in alcune stazioni anche di un grado) dal 1995 ad oggi. Questa notizia, però, ha scatenato le domande e i dubbi degli scettici, soprattutto tra chi di clima e di temperature ne capisce qualcosa; dunque, sono dubbi e domande che provengono anche dal mondo scientifico, lungi dal poter essere tacciato di complottismo e/o di ignoranza.

La prima incongruenza la fa notare la giornalista Jo Nova. Secondo la Nova, il governo australiano avrebbe installato proprio nel 1995 dei termometri elettronici in tutte le stazioni meteo del paese, in alcuni casi sostituendo gli strumenti al mercurio, in altri casi affiancandoli. Il problema delle apparecchiature elettroniche sta nel fatto che queste misurano la temperatura ogni secondo, per cui sono sensibili anche ad un aumento repentino della temperatura causato da un improvviso passaggio di una corrente d’aria calda; un aumento che i termometri al mercurio non avrebbero il tempo di percepire e tradurre in misurazione termica. Sempre la Nova fa notare – seconda incongruenza – che da più parti si è chiesto al governo australiano di tarare gli intervalli di misurazione della temperatura ad un minuto per evitare proprio queste distorsioni; da BoM hanno risposto che la taratura è proprio di un minuto, una cosa che però non risulta dai dati pubblicati dallo stesso dipartimento. Sulla base di queste caratteristiche, è emerso – grazie anche al lavoro di molti siti investigativi e di ricerca sul clima – che tra i termometri al mercurio e quelli elettronici  c’è una differenza di 1 grado, con ovviamente quelli elettronici a misurare le temperature più alte. Oltre alla manipolazione dei dati, secondo il sito di informazione The Daily Sceptic, il governo australiano ha anche omesso i dati delle misurazioni che attestavano temperature più fredde – fatte sia con i termometri elettronici sia con quelli a base di mercurio – proprio per portare acqua al mulino della fantomatica crisi climatica.

Ma il Bureau of Meteorology australiano non è l’unico a giocare coi dati. Il National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, agenzia del Dipartimento del commercio degli Stati Uniti, quattro giorni fa ha pubblicato una mappa tutta colorata di rosso per lanciare l’ennesimo allarme: “dal 1885 ad oggi le temperature sono aumentate su tutto il pianeta”, con picchi di più di 1 grado. Peccato, però, che il NOAA non possa fornire alcuni dati di comparazione perché nel 1885 sul pianeta c’erano poche stazioni meteorologiche; come fanno a dire che in Africa la temperatura è aumentata di più di un grado se, nel 1885, nel continente africano non erano state installate stazioni meteo?

Ecco, dunque, che ogni giorno che passa diventa foriero di una nuova truffa sui cambiamenti climatici per diffondere il messaggio della colpevolezza dell’uomo – ovviamente l’uomo semplice, noi che andiamo in giro con la Panda a benzina, mica i padroni che volano coi jet privati – per degli eventi che comunque avverrebbero a prescindere dall’uomo e dalle sue attività. I padroni del mondo non fanno altro che confondere le acque tra cambiamenti climatici – influenzati da forze di una potenza che l’uomo non può nemmeno immaginare, come l’attività solare – e l’inquinamento causato, guarda caso da chi oggi vuole arricchirsi con le bufale sull’economia “green” e tutta la speculazione che vi ruota attorno, causando nuovi danni ancora più gravi per estrarre minerali preziosi necessari per alimentare l’industria “green”.

that scene in Porco Rosso where him and the show-off pilot have a dogfight slinging blows and insults back and forth on the beach just came to me now when i was thinking about feeling overwhelmed with retaining clarity sometimes. Like with sniffing out the trail that smells good. But on the other hand its like, i look up and am astounded at how i could forget how amazing this trail i'm sniffing out looks and sounds and smells... and that the noise might not always be noise but be something worth investigating, if only to find out whether i find it interesting or not.

A whole other thing is wording out my emotions without the help of furry adjacent metaphors omfg.

The ability to stay focused (and just afoot even) when being met with blows indeed. Also that scene in contexts of insisting on being true to yourself and your beliefs.

Taking blows and blows and blows and losing direction and going into slow-motion and getting your beautifully animated pig face beat up bleeding and swollen. But you still keep rising to defend the freedom of the young woman who helps you build cool airplanes...

Calpesto con pesantezza l'erba impenitente ed oltremodo resistente di questo viale alberato che porta in 130 passi al mare. Ho sempre avuto questa malsana idea di contare le distanze in falcate da più o meno 70 centimetri . Sono come Pollicino che lasciava le briciole di pane per essere capace di tornare indietro, mi serve un punto da fissare per non perdermi e sparire come il Croccante al Cioccolato solo perchè quello all'Amarena è decisamente più buono. Non sono mai venuto qui con te e con te non ho più contato i passi che mi separavano dal mare per almeno 30 anni. Hai scelto questo posto per sentire il profumo del mare e qui sei rimasto, in una casetta colorata di uno scontato ma sempre efficace bianco e blu, sotto dei pioppi dal fogliame pigro di verde slavato. Il nano è meno nano, ma tu non lo sai o forse si per certi misteri non si ha ancora la soluzione. Lui sgambetta veloce nelle sue ossa sottili da genetica familiare che ci lega e ci rende simili da svariate generazioni. La malinconia che mi umidifica le pareti del costato da un bel pò adesso trasuda e va oltre, mi prende la testa, il fiato. il nano lo sa perchè lui ha il nostro stesso super potere , il sentire anche senza udire, il vedere senza guardare. Sono diventato socialmente asociale talmente tanto che quando chiedo il gelato al bar indico direttamente il gusto con le dita anche se poi arriva la domanda maledetta, cono o coppetta? Anche questa volta cara gelataia dallo sguardo goloso hai vinto il duello del silenzio. Cono, medio, senza panna anticipo per evitare ulteriori motivi di inutile comunicazione. Chissà che fine ha fatto Calcutta e mi viene in mente che anche io "sono uscito stasera ma non ho letto l'oroscopo" speriamo di non avere Saturno contro, la Luna Nera in opposizione e Marte rosso dalla rabbia e non ho neanche ingoiato la" Tachipirina 500 se ne prendi due diventan mille " come le spille che adesso sento sulla schiena perchè ancora non ho ben capito in fondo " che cosa mi manchi a fare" . Dovrei chiedere scusa a molte persone per averle lasciate andare, quindi scuse fatte ciao. Sono stanco, non ho più voglia di inseguire, parlare, capire , discutere, che tanto anche se scrivessi il mio personale e dettagliato manuale delle istruzioni e ve lo dessi voi cerchereste soltanto il buco dove infilare la batteria perchè nella realtà vi interessa solo di vedere tutto senza pagare il canone o l'abbonamento, pezzottatori di vite perfette per il pubblico votante "Hai visto che tramonto Truman?
