In honor of Paper Mario TTYD’s release on Switch, there’s someone I want to introduce to you all..

Meet Paperlor!

I’ve had this guy around for about a month or so now, and I figured now was the perfect time to introduce him to you all!

A bit more info/lore under the cut.

For starters, I’ll be officially calling this AU “Magolor and The Thousand Year Door,” MaTTYD for short. Posts with Paperlor will be tagged as such!

Simply put, this is an AU where Magolor goes through the story of Paper Mario TTYD for his epilogue instead of the actual Magolor Epilogue. Think like @cherry-blossom-qf’s Undertale and Skylanders AUs.

After being defeated by Kirby, Magolor wakes up floating atop a vast ocean. Too weak to move, he lets the waves carry him away, to what he assumes will be his eventual demise. Soon, he washes up on the pier of Rogueport, where the sailors bring him ashore and help him recover. It’s here that he realizes he’s been given something: a mysterious map. Where does it lead to, and how did he get it? He doesn’t have much time to question it, as he runs into Goombella being cornered by Lord Crump and his minions shortly after he’s well enough to leave..

Through the AU, Magolor gradually regains his powers as he searches for the Crystal Stars with his newfound friends. The upgraded abilities work slightly differently; the chests with these ability upgrades come in the form of Fruit Fragments, which not only upgrade either his jump or hammer ability, but also restore his magic powers as they do in the original Magolor Epilogue. In this AU, Magolor’s flight ability is stunted as a result of the Master Crown, so he relies on his jump abilities to reach high places.

There’s still a lot more I have in mind + things I’m working out as I go along, so be sure to keep an eye out!

Okay, hear me out: An AU where, after the events of Super Paper Mario, it’s discovered that Luigi reverts to Mr. L every time he’s near a source of particularly powerful magic, like some sort of psychoactive allergic reaction.

He returns to normal if he’s removed from the source of the magic... but unfortunately, wrangling Mr. L is no easy feat.

And here's Dimentio in form of a Pixl called the Pixl King. Despte his appearance not really showing much like a king apart from the crown. He sure likes to act like one which is how he got his name.

You know what would be awful but cool? If Mario and the others escaped the bad end trio (Shadow Peach, Star Bowser, and Green) and had to start a new life in a new land.

Like, there's a hint of despair in the fact that they had to abandon their home.

But at the same time, they have a sense of hope, a hope that one day, they can go home and light with prevail.

🌹 Queen Floribunda Émeline Belrose 🌹

Like Demonica, Flor is also part of the TTYD AU I’m working on alongside the Pocketville one. Her outfit is also based on Renaissance style royal attire, but with a few creative liberties. She is a Bloomsprite, a species I made for this AU that inhabited Briarthorne.

Queen Floribunda was the last Queen of Briarthorne before the queendom’s inevitable downfall in the hands of Demonica, the Shadow Queen. She grew up as a lady with a love for the arts and sciences, much like her parents Queen Tatienne and King Augustus did. Despite her royal upbringing, she would often walk around the city helping her subjects.

She also led the four heroes when the time came to defeat Demonica once and for all.

Currently in the works of yet another Origami King AU, but this time i'm actually going to post it somewhere, that being A03. The prologue will hopefully be up soon, then i'll share it here to get it out there more.

Gene

Normal rank:

Smack - Damages an enemy by giving it a hard wack

Shove (2FP) - Damages an enemy by shoving it to the ground, has a 25% chance to paralyze it

Super rank:

Shadow Claw (4 FP) - Makes Gene grow sharp claws made of shadow, raising Gene’s attack power to 3

Ultra rank:

Broken Heart skill - If Dante’s hp is reduced to 0, all of Gene’s attacks will do double damage

If both Zenix and Sasha’s hp reach 0, Gene will be in Shadow Knight form next time he’s swapped in, raising his attack power to 3 and granting him access to new actions.

Disembowel - Damages an enemy with his claws, piercing its defense

Veiled Charge (2FP) - Damages an enemy by running into it full force, paralyzing it for its next turn

Umbral Ultimatum (8FP) - Reduces both Gene and the enemy’s hp to 1, paralyzing Gene for his next turn. Unmissable.

Paper Mario and the Starry Night Treasure

been thinking about an au of paper mario ft. the smg4 cast because why not

the premise is that luigi and meggy were cleaning out the attic of the castle when they stumble upon an odd looking dusty chest with a symbol of a star with a red lightning bolt in it and being none the wiser decide to open it

thats when a ball of red crackling energy leapt out and almost slammed into luigi before meggy pushed him out of the way and ended up getting hit by it instead

and thus marks the beginning of Paper Mario and the Starry Night Treasure as Meggy is then possessed by the spirit of an angry luma villain only known as the Star Monger, a more or less conquerer/war criminal that was sealed away by Princess Peach's great great great great great grand father into a treasure chest... which luigi opened... whoops

for once Mario is very willing to go on an adventure as he drags him and his bro to save meggy across the continent to stop Star Monger and his crew of galactic criminals known as the Red Star Conqueror's from obtaining a legendary treasure said to hold the greatest power in the universe

on the way the end up finding and meeting friends both old and new

meanwhile the rest of the glitchy have to stop the mayhem the rest of the Red Star Conqueror's are causing in the mushroom kingdom

can our heroes save the day? or will their world be send into a supernova of doom?

well lets hope the meme energy doesn't get in the way then

This is Oliver, Olivia's Older and serious brother, he's sorta the king around here, well only in his world, Oliver is the opposite of his sister, while Olivia is pure and kind to others, Oliver is rather silent, he usually locked himself away in his room in his own kingdom for a long time. You can see Oliver's epithet is that he can Fold things into origami and it's not only just objects and people, he can also fold reality which is like Augment but in origami, Oliver can make his folded worlds of his interest. Oliver's animal is Lion like as in King and royalty, anyway, he and his sister don't seem to talk much, he sometimes try to convince his sister to become royal just like him but Olivia doesn't like being all fancy and telling everyone what to do like a mean tyrant so she rejects it and prefer being her. Oliver gets disappointed of her choice and as mention before, he used to help the craftsman with the shop for a long time but due to a certain event he stopped and prefer to be away in his folded world he made.

I forgot to give Olivia Epithet Erased style eyes, oof! well anyway I hope you guys enjoy this handsomely royal emo boi and stay safe and kawaiii!
