But in today’s scenario it’s the union of mind and body which is of utmost importance. The imbalance between mind and body is the biggest problem which is causing more health issues.

Yoga is the best tool to overcome physical and mental issues. Regular practice of yoga is very much beneficial in personal development and to live with peace and harmony.

Yoga acts on a different level of Personality development, that is at the level of physical, mental, emotional, intellectual and spiritual.

Physical level

There are physical poses (asanas) in yoga which helps in improving the function of our vital organs and strengthens the musculo-skeletal joints. Regular practice of yogasans associated with breathing will enhance the blood circulation there by the proper nutrition supply happening to each muscle and organs. The flexibility of each joint will definitely improve by asanas and the body becomes light without pain and stiffness.

"The Park." From the Atharvasikha Upanishad, "the Exploration of the Mysteries of the Pinnacle of the Hymns."

2.1 The pranava (the sound of Om) makes all the souls to bow before it. It is the one and only one which has to be meditated upon as the four Vedas and the birth place of all devas. One who meditates like that goes away from all sorrows and fears and gets the power to protect all others who approach him.

It is because of this meditation only that Lord Vishnu who is spread every where, wins over all others. It is because Lord Brahma controlled all his organs and meditated upon it, he attained the position of the creator.

Even Lord Vishnu , parks his mind in the sound (Om) of the place of Paramathma (ultimate soul) and meditates upon Eeshana, who is most proper to be worshipped. All this is only proper in case of Eeshana.

2.2 Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra and Indra are creating all beings, all organs and all karanas. They are also capable of controlling them. But Lord Shiva exists in between them like sky and is permanently stable.

2.3 It is advised that the five gods Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, Ishwara and Shiva should be worshipped in the form of pranava [Aa+Uu+Ma+sound+Bindu(full stop)].

The Karana, the Hymn explains the how the soul is born, how the mind is able to detect its presence, and how the thoughts create the gods that made both. In Vedanta, it is the mind that creates the gods not the other way around. Once the mind creates the gods the gods called devas populate the mind and give it all of its virtuous capabilities. We are not born knowing these beings we must name them first and worship them before they can be of assistance to us.

This is why proper transmission of the names, forms and functions of the gods is essential. The Christ for example, is not a god of human sacrifice, but a God of Mercy, come to exalt the poor and raise them up to eye level. See how different that is from how we talk about this?

Similarly, Brahma is not just the Creator, Vishnu the sustainer and Shiva is the destroyer.

Brahma is the controlled light of the mind. Vishnu is its unlimited capacity for wisdom and understanding, Shiva is the absence of all delusion and ignorance. We revere Lord Shiva above all else because freedom from delusion is the greatest freedom there is.

All the great teachers of every religion say not to allow the mind or the minds of others to play tricks on us. Just to be sure, meditate upon Shiva, the Parameshwara, the Supreme Soul, and delusion cannot touch or tap into the mind. This process of gradually ascending to the abode of the supreme is called Pranava, the breath within all that lives, and is contained in the sacred syllable of OM.

This morning when I opened youtube to put on some music to work I came across this beautiful masterpiece. When I started playing it my first thought were the ones out into my head by the society..

"oh my god, how can men dance like this, this atrocious"

but, quickly replaced those thoughts, becuase that's what is poisoning my mind. Since I was young these societal expectations of girls having curvy bodies, fair skins, big eyes and melodious voices were put into my head and I was told men should be strong, muscular or at the very least be the breadwinner of the house, not curvy and expressive like this. Though since long I've changed that mindset it still sometimes haunts the back of my conscious, prodding at me and telling me that men shouldn't be like this and women should do this and that. But I actively try to push it away, because once I did

I saw the beauty and the glow these men emanated. The way expressions and dance flowed through them, strung me into their performance. Even if this performance has no words, it says way more with expressions than it could ever be possible to convey with words.

This performance was done on the song "Sayiaan Hatto Jao" which translates roughly to "Love, move aside"(Love here means someone you have a romantic relationship with) this song is by far one of the best songs in Heeramandi(The Diamond Bazaar). The new Web series. Though I haven't watched the series itself, I know of the songs because of how popular they are, songs like Sakal Ban and Tilasmi Bahein are amazing too, maybe ya'll can check them out. But this song, and of course the famous gajagamini walk which is said to be the peak fo seduction is truly just something else. The way Aditi Rao Hyadri just brings out the best of the song is amazing.

Coming back to this video, this take of the song, it captures the love men had for Shri Krishna. Artfully showing the affection they had for him while never actually showing it was Shri Krishn but portraying it with the peacock feathers and the signature blue colour.

I think it is fitting for Pride Month. Showing how It doesn't matter to a god whether you are a man or woman. Hindu Mythology often has queer encounters. How Vishnu Ji became Mohini, Ardhanareshwar among others. And the fact that this performance was done by an entirely Bengali team makes me so proud and happy. "The Happy Nectar." From the Narasimha Uttara Upanishad. “The Exploration of the Mysteries of the Reply".

From Chapter 2:

The Upanishads are not shy, are they?

To "take the happy nectar", according to the sages, is to know all the gods and all of their blessed properties throughout the body. Full appreciation of this is a must if one is to become fully acquainted with God as an embodied and also a disembodied Holy Spirit.

To show gladness for the gift of intercourse is in fact said to be synonymous with worship of Him:

3.3 Thus after worshipping with nectar (Ananda Amrutha) the four-fold Brahmas (Devatha, Teacher, Mantra and the soul), Vishnu, Rudra separately and then together in the form of Linga with offerings and then unifying the linga forms in the Atma Jyothi (Light of the soul) and filling up the macro, micro and causal bodies with this light, we have to unify Atma Jyothi which is their basis with macro, micro, root and witness properties.

All God asks of one worshipping with nectar are invocations to Vishnu (Grace) and Rudra, "Kindness", Linga, "the image of a god", unity with the image of a god, ruff, and "lighting of the soul" by filling the bodies.

Without this kind of glorification of God through the worship of another person's body, the role of the Witness, the soul, will not be fulfilled:

3.4 Afterwards adjust the very gross Virat "manly" form in the very micro-Hiranyagarbha "tiny golden birth" form, and this micro form in the great causal Iswara form "Cosmic Form" and after arranging the mantras similarly, and meditating on “Otha-Anuj-Jnathru-Anugna-Avikalpa” AKA "summon a younger brother and summon the Three Persons, in non-consecutive stages without hesitation", merging all this in to the Omkara (sound of Om) in Thuriya, we reach the Nirvikalpa Paramathma (formless great truth).

Much trouble over intercourse has befallen mankind because tyrants use it as way to scare and oppress everyone. No one is safe from being ridiculed or controlled by losers over the fact the body and soul need to couple with others. This was not lost on the authors of the Upanishads and here they are telling us to break free of all bondage to delusions about intercourse and their enforcers, and embrace how important romance is to realizing the Self.
