I’m going to be so annoying when the Knuckles show comes out. Is it during finals? Technically yes, it’s on that Thursday or Friday but I don’t have an exam til that Tuesday. Besides I usually study either the day of or night before, so it can’t be that bad. (She says, lying to herself)

Ok I get that Jamie made mistakes and he is written now as the enemy of the Duttons with all his father wanting to kill them and Jamie not getting him arrested etc. But John and Beth are bullies, did they have to call him to the announcement and make him think they are there for him when they knew he is not being endorsed, NO but they did it anyway ! John saying that they wouldn't have missed it, and Jamie thinking that they were there for him and feeling happy about it shows that that's all he cares about ! They were cruel, and yeah Jamie should tell them about his father but do you blame him for not doing that ! Beth definetly wants him dead, honesty the only time I like her is when she is around RIP, she is a non stop bully, you don't have to treat people like shit to be a strong powerful woman or prove a point, I feel like the show celebrates her mean behavior ! that assistant did nothing wrong and she fired him anyway just for fun. John only uses Jamie when it's suitable. The only person who truly cares about Jamie is Kayce. The Jimmy storyline needs to end, I get he is getting his own show, but it is too distracting and has nothing to do with main storyline.

Watched the first two episodes of Paramont+ HALO season 2 with my dad last night! And we were equally disappointed that episode 2 stopped just when it was getting real good! So yeah I am definitely excited for the rest of the season to release! And yeah I'm one of the few people that enjoy this show. I've rewatched season 1 a bunch of times! It just gives me some good vibes--HALO in general (especially the older games) is comforting to me!

Won't spoil anything of course! But I like the direction of the narrative so far and the locations. I do wish they would use less CGI but I get that it's probably easier than actually doing those action scenes. It just looks super unnatural though and less CGI would be better. Having actual Elite costumes would be cool too, just like how the Alien films (the old ones) had an actual Alien costume. But again, kinda get why they wouldn't do that but c'mon there are some talented costume makers out there.

I know a big complaint from fans is that they want Master Chief to keep his helmet on but I don't agree with that. In the games, sure, I prefer for him to have it on but this show isn't the same as the games (clearly, and I like that we get to see a more human portrayal of him rather than a power-fantasy--it is fun in the games to be a badass but in a show it makes sense to me that they chose a different route--and yes I know that Chief has other sides of him shown in the games but you get what I mean). I enjoy this show because it's easy for me to separate the games and the show as two different entities. As if we get HALO in two different forms. If I was focusing on what the show changes with the game lore then yeah I'd dislike this show. I'm glad to not focus on changes.

Also, not saying this show is like god tier or anything, but I do enjoy it for what it is. The actors do a great job! And whenever there are obvious references to the games I get so happy and am like 'YAY :D'

I hope we'll see the Arbiter in some form (maybe we already have and yeah he wouldn't be the Arbiter yet I know, but with this show there is no knowing what could happen).

Midnight Binge

With the silver screen doling out new content every season, it can be hard to keep up with what’s worth watching, and not seemingly wasting valuable time that could’ve potentially been used somewhere else.

In this new blogging series, I am going to watch shows that pique my interest. Most of the shows will be brought to you by Netflix and whatever is on the tube, but I think it will go well…hopefully.

P.S. There will be spoilers!! It's literally called “Midnight Binge,” meaning I will be watching the season in its entirety, especially for shows on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other streaming platforms that post seasons all at once.

Also, “Midnight Binge” is all about T.V. shows, I will be doing a different series catering to movies.
