came up and i considered cheating because this recording is 7 minutes long and most of it is just teaching the song to the audience but i do want to talk about it to someone and so im seizing this opportunity because the curiosity is Killing me i have to know what hand gestures ronnie browne uses to conduct the lower and upper balconies that gets him such uproarious laughter. it intrigues me. what i wouldn't give to have been there or at least stumble across someone in a comments section or another who was there and could tell me. and i think about teaching this song to every group of people im in and i have never done it so far but that would probably shed some light on the hand gestures to be used, if i had to use them myself. anyhow favourite lyric from the song itself is no doubt "but as for our first mate, that son of a brute, i hope when he dies straight to hell he'll skyhoot!" i love skyhooting.
