all the wolf-like strong possessive and powerful sinners become domestic puppies after their child is born i swear to god. soft and nice bunny-like sinners get extremely supportive and even softer than before and mischievous cat-like or bird-like sinners become an absolute disaster they spoil their child as much as they can and they teach them lots of... things. not always the best things but hey does it matter? who cares! their child is happy! they're laughing and smiling and simply enjoying their parent's company. so what matters more? some social policies...? never!

Zoya becomes a very compassionate and protective parent. She always makes sure to deal with her children's needs while helping you out with anything around the house. She dresses up, tea dates, and spoils them!

Rahu is a bit awkward still and more protective than any other parent. She will ensure their safety no matter what and might be deemed around them too much. However, she has the gentlest touch with them because she's afraid of harming them in anyway.

Ninety-Nine has a bit of clueless aura with her. She never envisioned herself as a parent, but here she is. She relies heavily on you until she gets her own groove, but she is very loving and caring to her children. She may teach them a few nasty habits!

Shalom is ironically a tender and loving parent. She teaches her children so much about the world but doesn't shy away from the bad. She warns them and prepares them when their older. She loves having tea parties with them and sitting down reading books with them.

Langley is one of the strictest parents out of the women. It's simply because she expects so much from her children and knows they can do it! She is very caring and teaches them all they need to know. She prefers sitting with them and teaching them, not some tedious tea parties. A little coaxing she'll cave.

Coquelic is very supportive and yet stern. She has a very creative view of everything. She insists on her children to look into gardening, but if they dont, it's okay! She supports them no matter what they choose to do and encourages with a smile on her lips.

Cinnabar is the most fun-loving mother. She's protective, caring, compassionate, and soft. She looks out for every one of her children with a watchful eye and does whatever they want to do, as long as it's not bad, of course! She always insists on family time to form a bond that is one of the strongest yet. Her family means everything to her.

Can we have some headcanons for a romantic relationship with Cinnabar please? The reader might be either a chief or a sinner, it's up to you

This finally got me to finish Cinnabar's interrogation, and I'm glad it did! As a note, usually if a gender isn't specified I try to write gender-neutral, but there's enough subtext with Cinnabar that I'm not comfortable writing her romantically with anyone masculine-leaning, so I opted to write for f!Chief.

Romantic relationship between Cinnabar and f!Chief

By far, Cinnabar is probably the most normal partner in the whole MBCC that Chief could have picked – aside from perhaps Nightingale – and it shows.

There was no crazy romantic confession or outlandish gesture with these two. Heck, there wasn't even alcohol involved – just some coffee and cake slices at a cozy coffee shop Cinnabar took Chief to on one of her rare few days off.

Cinnabar was the one who confessed, and to her credit she managed to keep her voice more or less steady, even if she did blush as red as Cabernet’s hair.

(Chief later found out that her comrades at Serpent Eye had egged her into finally confessing, which made why the usually professional and somewhat emotionally shy Cinnabar suddenly confessed make sense.)

Compared to other Sinners, settling into a relationship with Cinnabar was… surprisingly easy. She was aware of Cinnabar's temperament, but also of every other Sinner's – so when nothing really seemed to change, Chief wondered if they'd done this wrong somehow.

Of course, it quickly became apparent that Cinnabar was being shy, even with the recent change in their relationship status. It was adorably endearing, and Chief began to try to think of ways to encourage Cinnabar to be a bit more confident showing affection.

It takes time, but Chief’s patience bears fruit. She’s able to get Cinnabar comfortable with hand-holding! It’s not much, but it’s honest work.

Given all this, Chief was surprised the first time Cinnabar entered her office, looking weary after a long and difficult dispatch – and pulled Chief into a gentle embrace.

Surprised, but not at all protesting. Any words died on the Chief’s tongue as she quickly wrapped her arms around the Sinner in kind, but this unusual behavior still worried her; reaching out with the shackles, she discovered that Cinnabar was even more tired than she had initially seemed. She wasn’t physically harmed, thank God, but even so… Cinnabar was an Endura Sinner for a reason. Seeing her this worn down to the bone set so many alarm bells ringing.

That night, Chief broke several Bureau rules and allowed Cinnabar to sleep with her in her bed. Cinnabar didn’t even protest the breach of etiquette, which only made the Chief even more worried. Just how exhausted was she? She was more than happy for the chance to cuddle with her usually hesitant partner, but…

When Cinnabar woke up the next morning, she was mortified at the breach in protocol. She apologized over and over, saying that she shouldn’t have let herself be so improper with the Chief, girlfriend or not. Nothing Chief said could change her mind, and her propriety was as endearing as it was frustrating in this particular instance.

Chief ended up telling Cinnabar she’d “let her off with a warning,” though she had no intentions of punishing the Sinner if this happened again. Of all the Sinners in the Bureau, Cinnabar was the least likely to try to take advantage of what had happened and make a habit out of it, so Chief saw nothing wrong with her seeking comfort and relaxation in a moment when she truly needed it.

Still, the Chief did order Cinnabar to rest for the next week, worried about her wellbeing. Cinnabar didn’t make a fuss about it, but it became evident by the second day that the Sinner was restless and more tense without something to do, so Chief had Cinnabar stand guard over her. It wasn’t like anyone was likely to be able to harm her in her office, and they both knew it, but it worked nevertheless; Cinnabar was able to wind down a little with something low-stress to do, and Chief got to enjoy her girlfriend’s company. This whole routine quickly became Chief’s go-to whenever she noticed Cinnabar was overworking herself.

Due to the workaholic natures of both Cinnabar and the Chief, dates for them are usually small outings tacked on after a mission, before they return to the Bureau. A walk around the block holding hands, or small talk over tea and cakes in a cafe; these dates are never anything grand, but then again, they wouldn’t want it to be.

The first time Cinnabar and Chief kissed is a moment neither of them will ever forget. It was in the wake of a particularly strenuous mission that had left the two of them stranded in a danger zone, hiding from Corruptors as they waited for a rescue team to come retrieve them. Huddled tightly against Cinnabar’s warmth, feeling her heartbeat, seeing her brows drawn and a light frown on her lips as she concentrated…

Adrenaline and impulse guided Chief to place a quick kiss on Cinnabar’s lips. It was a good thing that the bodyguard had already cleared out the nearby Corruptors or this could’ve proved a fatal distraction; Cinnabar’s concentration immediately broke as she flushed tomato red, staring at Chief with mouth agape and eyes wide. She seemed at a loss for words – but judging by how she leaned in for another kiss, she wasn’t unhappy.

Kissing Cinnabar didn’t happen often, despite everything, so Chief found herself cherishing whenever it did from then on. The kisses were far from perfect – neither of them had relationship experience before so figuring the whole technique out was a process of trial and error – but it was them, and that was what mattered.

Of course, Cinnabar brought Chief along whenever she went to visit Serpent Eye, and Chief was quickly accepted as part of the family. Though both she and Cinnabar blushed whenever someone joked about the two of them marrying, which they did often – remarking on how lucky Cinnabar was to “have a wife as perfect as this” was a common one that neither of them ever got used to.

Nightingale and Cinnabar Deserve A Vacation

Hello my fellow Chiefs of Minos, I am posting this to remind you all that there are exactly two individuals who qualify as having even a modicum of sanity within the walls of Minos and we are not one of them.

So please remember to show your support to the pair of individuals responsible for keeping Minos from descending into the pits of utmost primordial chaos and dragging all of Dis down with it in an orgy of madness and chaos. 

Because, let us all be honest with ourselves for a moment here, without Nightingale being the hyper competent and dutiful Adjutant she is, and Cinnabar being the security expert and loyal guard she is, Minos would have become something straight out of an asylum workers worst nightmares. 

So let us all agree these two deserve a chance to take a vacation and relax and not have to worry about coming back home to find Minos either in ruins or having declared succession from dis and began a campaign of world conquest while the chief sits and vibes with some of the other sinners. 

With that said, let us offer our gratitude towards these two brave souls who shoulder the weight of being the dams that hold back the flood of madness that is the antics of Minos and offer them a toast to their health and sanity.

Because if they ever lose either then all of Dis is going to descend headfirst into the hell it claims to have risen above.

• Chelsea absolutely spoils her children. She will buy them everything, from clothes to toys to pets. If they want it they'll get it, there are no exceptions.

• She's rich, money isn't even the slightest hint of concern for her. She's usually spending every jewel she can make on herself or you, but having her new bundles of joy in the world? Well then, now she's going to spend even more on them too.

• She'll 100% end up being the "Cool Mom," whether that was by accident or not. She doesn't like to be strick and usually allows your kids to get away with things, but she will lay down on them if they go to far.

• Just because Chelsea is pretty relaxed and allows minor things to be swept under the rug if it involves your kids, she isn't gonna hesitate to ground them if they do something bigger than drawing on the walls.

• Be prepared for Sitri to be very overprotective over your kids. Sometimes you'll both wonder if the gem panther considers them hers and not yours.

• It really isn't uncommon to find one of your kids missing, and when you both go into panic, you'll stop and see Sitri holding them by the back of their shirt or cuddled tightly around them.

• It's comical to see how much Sitri and Chelsea are alike when it comes to your kids. Protective and downright aggressive in situations that threaten your kids.

✧ CINNABAR

• Cinnabar is a great balance for a mother. She's fun, protective, loving, and gentle with her kids.

• She's the type of parent that can be found playing on playsets with her kids. Acting like a sea monster when your kids play pirate, or the dragon that kidnaps you, the princess, when they want to play knights.

• Whatever her kids want to do (as long as it isn't dangerous and life threatening) she's all on board to get involved whenever your kids want her to.

• Another thing is that Cinnabar can be quite an awkward parent. When it comes to the talk of "birds and the bees," she's a flustered, stammering mess as she tries her hardest to explain - you'll end up having to be the one that does.

• When your kids are older and start bringing their parents over to meet you both, she's a mix of silent intimidation and social awkwardness.

• Cinnabar almost always has an eye on your kids as well. She worries about them hurting themselves she always wants to have them in her sights. She does this more when their toddlers, because she knows she shouldn't be some kind of "helicopter parent" when they get older.

• It's such a beautiful sight to watch Cinnabar cradling her newborn baby, because she holds them with such delicacy and looks at them like they're her whole world - because you and them are.

✧ DEREN

• Deren - despite what people may think - is anything but lazy when it comes to your kids. She may desperately want to be, but she forces herself to be awake and with them at anytime she can.

• She makes it a real effort to attend every single one of their extracurricular activities. Whether it be seeing their soccer game or attending their piano recital, she'll be there in the crowd cheering them on.

• She doesn't hesitate to leave sights early where she's filming her newest movie - or ending production early that day to get home and be with you and your kids.

• Deren will also take your kids on set quite often, because she wants them to see what she does and also spend time with them as much as possible.

• It's common to have a family movie night, where Deren will play one of her favorite movies (or yours and your kids) because she wants them to have a love and appreciation for movies just like her.

• The cutest thing you can find when you're home is Deren asleep on the couch, or in one of your kids bed with them wrapped up protectively in her arms.

• It's an adorable sight that you've caught sight of many times, and you have enough pictures to show it. Depending on the night you'll tuck them both under a blanket or will crawl into bed with them, a smile usually spreading across her sleeping face when she feels your arms around her.

✧ RAHU

• Rahu is the definition of protective parent. She will go full on fight mode at even the smallest threat. One time she completely destroyed a thorn bush when you child was lightly pricked by it.

• She wants to ensure yours and your child's safety, meaning she is by your guys side almost 24/7. She's not overbearing by any means, she's simply just intent on making sure your safe wherever and wherever.

• On top of being quite protective, Rahu is one of the most awkward parents. It takes her a long long time to get the ropes of parenting.

• It takes her so long not because she doesn't know what to do, but rather because she's afraid. She's afraid of accidentally harming one of your kids because of her strength.

• It's a reason why Rahu is so apprehensive on holding your children when they're first born. She needs personal encouragement and reassurance from you before she'll take your small, newborn baby into her arms.

• It's a beautiful sight to see the usually stoic Rahu just completely melt and become vulnerable as she cradles her child close to her chest, gazing down at them like she would burn the entire world for them, and you know she would.

• There's nothing more important to her than you and her kids, and Rahu would rather die than ever see any one of you get hurt. Your all her world after all.

✧ ZOYA

• Zoya is probably one of the most perfect parents out of everyone. Sure she's violent and dangerous and many become petrified at the mention of her name, but when you give her the gift of her first child, she'll completely melt and become a woman you wouldn't expect to have done violent things.

• She dedicates everything to your kids. She'll push herself away from the Legion (as much as she can while still leading it) and spend her time with you and your children.

• Each kid you have is going to have Zoya wrapped around her finger, and there is almost nothing she wouldn't do for them. She loves each one so immensely that sometimes you wonder if she's going to drown in the love that she holds.

• There are plenty of times that you'll come home to Zoya ropped (willingly) into any shenanigans your kids come up with. From having them to her makeup, to dressing up for tea parties, or playing the role as the valiant hero or dastardly villain.

• If you stumble upon her during these moments and she notices you, be prepared to be pulled into their games and become her dear princess that she saves or the hero who stops her crimes and falls for her.

• When your kids are young and wake up in the middle of night, Zoya will make sure you go back to sleep before tending to them. She'll often be the one to check for monsters in closets and under beds as well.

• But nothing, nothing makes Zoya the most vulnerable than lying in bed with you wrapped up in her arms along with each of your kids. The sight of you all sound asleep and safe besides her will bring tears to her eyes, and she'll thank anyone listening for being gifted with your family.

These are re-written headcanons from about a year ago! I am rewriting more stuff and slowly writing some of my Ao3 requests.

Zoya

Zoya doesn't care if you are shy and affectionate, she happily opens her arms to you and gives the love back equally. Her tone is softer in public, her arm is always around you or at least has a hand resting against you.

Zoya loves to tease you but relents with laughter when you get pouty. She holds her hands up in defeat before pulling you into her lap for some cuddles.

When you start to open up, Zoya is so proud of you because you feel safe enough to be yourself.

I stated before that she's more of a words or actions, but I've changed my mind. Zoya is most definitely action over words, sometimes she doesn't know what to say. Reputation or not, she's going to shower you in love.

Zoya will return any sentiment you give: compliments, hugs, kisses etc. She keeps you close to her body when out in public, she acts like the protective shield. It won't ever bother her, she takes it with pride.

When you and Zoya are in the comfort of indoors, she becomes similar to a puppy. You can cling to her and be overly affectionate, she holds onto you and whispers how much she loves you. Her kisses will deepen yours as her arms tighten around you. She teases and proclaims how she can take it further, resulting in your face fluttering. You may have to put up with her indoors.

Cinnabar

There's no way to avoid that Cinnabar attracts women to her, she's like a magnet! That simple fact alone may make you shy away from her even more. She knows and understands that, she puts forward more effort even if she gets flustered.

Cinnabar knows the unspoken boundaries and backs up when it's needed. This was a time for both of you to figure out feelings.

When you suddenly become more affectionate, she is taken back and nearly clueless. She may have conflicting internal thoughts about it; are you trying to get her hopes up, just to shatter them later? That seems unlikely because you are one of the sweetest people she's met.

Cinnabar is very patient when you are slowly opening up to her. She encourages the spikes in affection, you may both get flustered but she is so proud of you. There are bright smiles and thanks for making her day.

If you give Cinnabar compliments, she'll fluster and return it with a rub of her neck. You may or may not give another back, BUT if you do she'll return it. It'll be a constant cycle until one of you is the winner, it's like an endless hurricane of butterflies in your stomachs.

Cinnabar will always be by your side when outdoors, she is lowkey protecting you from any dangers. Her hand rests securely on your waist or the small of your back. She's attentive to her surroundings and you.

When it's just the two of you alone, inside, Cinnabar keeps you close and her head rests on top of your shoulder. She expresses how being with you makes everything easier, not only being a sinner but the challenges of life. You won't be able to see how much you mean to her, not through her eyes and she hopes that you'll believe her words.

Macchiato

Macchiato loves that you are shy and affectionate. She won't be afraid to ease past the barriers you have built. She wishes to satisfy all of the needs you have.

Macchiato knows boundaries very well, she won't push past them unless you are comfortable. Her patience is very high and nearly unbreakable.

Macchiato's words are smooth as silk, they are nothing but the truth. She'll hold you from behind or rest her hands on your hips, her mouth grazes over your ear as her hot breath makes you blush more. She achieved what she was wanting.

There are many times that Macchiato does it on purpose in public. It would be around the whole MBCC, count your blessings. It isn't more because she doesn't want you forever embarrassed.

At moments, Macchiato's actions can lean more on the lewd side. She'll apologize with a small huff and blush on her own face, admitting it's embarrassing that she crossed a line. She will do whatever you want to make up for it.

If you manage to gather the courage to return the gestures, Macchiato is beyond happy! She has a large smile as she teases to get her whip out to go further. She traces the thin leather over your sides before threatening to give you spanking.

When it's just you and Macchiato behind closed doors, you'll be cuddled to her or vice versa. She still teases but it's lighter and more of her heart behind the words. Her eyes have a certain twinkle in them and she's more hands on than before.

Macchiato looks forward to exploring new territory with you.

Here you go, anon! These kind of turned into... some sort of mix between an imagine and headcanons at the end. Imagicanons? Sure. Well, they still classify as headcanons due to the format, but I digress. I probably would've finished this sooner, but you know... My body decided "No Write, Only Sleep" for several days in a row.

Incidentally, ya'll love Cinnabar so much that I think it's rubbing off on me LOL. I feel like I could write for her in my sleep at this point, which isn't a bad thing.

Cinnabar comforting her lover F!Chief who is insecure about her scars

Cinnabar has a lot of scars; it's a natural consequence in her line of work. She doesn't pay them any mind, so they don't really bother her.

Chief also has a multitude of scars, brands left by both Mania and close calls during combat. Many of them can be hidden by her clothes, and careful application of makeup can more or less conceal the rest, but they're nevertheless quite prominent, and their odd shapes leave no doubt of their unnatural origin. Looking at them leaves Chief sick to her stomach.

When Cinnabar first noticed Chief flinched away from being touched in certain spots, she didn't think much of it. Maybe Chief just didn't like being touched there; it was a perfectly normal boundary. Scars were far from her mind.

In fact, she discovered the scars through a complete accident. Cinnabar usually knocked before entering the Chief's room; naturally, the one time it slipped her mind was the one time she walked in on the Chief changing.

She noticed the scars, but as an afterthought. Her brain had mostly screeched to a halt, eyes going wide, heat rushing to her cheeks; Chief, for her part, was madly scrambling to cover herself with a towel.

“C-Chief, I'm so sorry, I-”

Chief interrupted Cinnabar's frantic blubbering with a raised hand. Her tone sounded resigned, and her gaze was pointedly averted. “It's fine, Cinnabar. I guess I couldn't keep it a secret forever.” She sighed again; before Cinnabar could ask what was bothering her, she continued. “So… what do you think? They're awful, aren't they?”

Cinnabar blinked a few times, trying to figure out what her girlfriend meant. Was… there something she should be noticing? (Scars were so natural to her that she didn't even think to consider them.) “I'm sorry, Chief, I don't understand…?”

“My scars.” It clicked into place, and Cinnabar's gaze returned to the patchwork of Mania marks left behind on her lover's skin. Sure, Cinnabar wasn't going to lie and say they were pretty, but they really didn't seem… Okay, they were bad. But in Cinnabar's eyes, that didn't matter at all.

However, for Chief, it clearly did matter, and quite a lot at that. The last thing Cinnabar wanted to do was dismiss her feelings just because she couldn't relate, so it took her a moment to come up with an appropriate response.

“Chief, scars won't ever look pretty.” That was… still blunter than she would have liked, but Cinnabar worried that if she was any more direct, it would only worsen the problem. “After all, they're your body's marks of survival. When fighting death, or Mania, your body doesn't care about how you look; it cares about staying alive.”

Chief seemed caught off guard by this answer, but Cinnabar could see by the look in her eyes that she was not fully reassured. “I suppose. It doesn't stop me from feeling like an ugly monster, though.”

Cinnabar frowned, approaching and sitting a respectful distance from the Chief on the bed. Her dark hair curtained her face from this angle, yet Cinnabar could still see the most prominent of the scars peeking through. “If it helps at all, I don't see you that way, Chief. You're… wonderful. Incredible. I'm heavily scarred too, you know, so… I don't think anything of it. The only thing that your scars make me feel is… relief, that you're still here. That you're still at my side.”

Another long silence from the Chief had Cinnabar fearing that she'd said the wrong thing. Just as the bodyguard was about to try saying something else, her lover finally spoke. “Have I ever told you you're amazing, Cinnabar?”

Cinnabar couldn't help blushing a deep red. She was no stranger to these words of praise from her girlfriend, but no matter how much time passes, they always got the same reaction from her. “Y-You've mentioned it a time or two…”

Chief laughed again, and before Cinnabar could recover, the smaller woman had curled up against her side, head on her shoulder. Instinct led Cinnabar to quickly gather the Chief up in her arms. “Well, I'll keep saying it. It's true. I don't think I'll ever really be at peace with my scars, but… hearing you say these things does make me feel a little better. Thank you.”

Cinnabar suppressed an audible sigh of relief, hugging her closer. Her girlfriend let out a happy noise and snuggled against her. “It’s no problem, Chief. I'd do anything for you.”

And she would; to Cinnabar, Chief was the most important person in the world. Even if it meant betraying everything else she stood for… Cinnabar would always love, cherish and protect her beloved Chief.

Zoya would be the feisty aggressive baby. She'd kick up in your arms, her cheeks flaring from anger as you kept holding her and not wanting to let go.
