На прошлой неделе у меня случилась круглая дата, и я не старался никак её громко отмечать, т.к. это очередной момент и не более. Ну и времени её отмечать тоже как-то не много.

Несмотря на критичный момент, наставший месяц назад — блог как-то выжил, пусть и это ударило по контенту. Сегодня поговорю о том что было, и о том что будет дальше. Без вопросов публике точно не обойдется.

А еще, пользуясь случаем поздравляю всех причастных с всемирным днем фотографа. Да пребудет с вами Светосила!

Итак, 10 лет это такой немудреный срок, что сообщество уже давно закостенело и ничего не хочется менять. Есть и те, кто читает этот блог с 2009 года, хотя основное наполнение пошло с 2012, а регулярное только с 2013. 

Потому пройдусь предметно, по статистике и по наполнению. 

Перво-наперво — формат рейда на производства это очень интересно, но давно вышло из современных бизнес-планов. Ну нереально для завода охватить аудиторию приглашением Фейсбука, Инстаграмма, и тем более ЖЖ. ЖЖ как кот Шрёдингера, пока не попробуешь — не поймешь, мертв он или нет. Ютуберам — да, двери открыты, но ни один безопасник или технолог не раскроет двери просто так. Поэтому ранее востребованная рубрика с рейдами уходит не потому что неинтересно, а потому что нет контента. Эта тема не бездонна.

Второе. Есть отдельные посты в статистике, которые внесезонно всегда держат аудиторию. Самая ключевая нетленка — это опус о том, как у студентов якобы отжимают карты (на самом деле виноваты как раз учащиеся). Причем несмотря на старость её описания, она не потеряла своей актуальности. Ну и сезонно, весной — посты о ЗНО, летом отпускные (почему-то форсится пост о автобане Е4 в Румынии). Поэтому разнобойные посты будут. Хотя они даются не всегда проще, чем те темы, которые я знаю хорошо.

Третье. Инфраструктура. Надо сказать, что те же телекомы останутся, потому что им надо быть. Авторов телекомовской темы, несмотря на наличие профильного журнала, можно пересчитать на пальцах двух рук, и максимум одной ноги:). А вот вопрос с транспортной темой уже стал действительно вопросом. А надо ли оно, когда каждый второй блогер — урбанист? Нужна ли эта аналитика? Нужна ли проработка такого материала? Да эти посты помимо выхлопа имеют позитивный эффект. Далеко не всегда, но имеют. За последний месяц — ненамеренно сменив подход к критическим постам, можно увидеть позитивный эффект. Это я к тому, что каждую неделю не надо стучать о том, что делают плохо. Достаточно одного раза. Хотя торсида Южспецстроя пока вроде обосновано прекращена — на Южном я не нашел замечаний. «Но расслабляться пока еще не время» (с). Даже потому, что от последствий ремонта на Валентиновской дело разрулили три недели назад (делали переезд в октябре!), а последствия ремонта на Владимирской церкви до сих пор дают о себе знать.

Четвертое. Филлеры. Ну это те посты из одной фотки, и без текста. Парится мне, искать, или лучше вообще без них?

Why Not Use Skype in the Conference Room?

There is no doubt that Skype has done much for video conferencing. Its transition from an audio only service to audio with video has enabled many of us worldwide to accept this form of video conferencing into their daily resides. Keeping up with friends and family overseas has never been easier and with a price tag for free it is a very compelling technology. Many other companies have jumped to the success of Skype notably Apple with Facetime and The major search engines with Google+ as well as a multitude of other chat and video use. Outside of the consumer world enterprises have spent and continue to buy millions of dollars each year on enhancing corporate video conferencing from specialized video conference rooms, Telepresence suites to desktop and the coming through mobile video conferencing. One of the questions we often get asked is why not just use Skype? Skype works with Skype. You cannot make a Skype call to a video conference room. Skype uses its own principal method of communication there have been some attempts to create video gateways right from video conference rooms to Skype clients but all take limited success maybe things will change on this front with the Roshan acquisition of Skype although they may well tighten up further and only allow Skype ip telefoni to work with their own Lync offering. So , why not replace your room in your home system with a Skype embedded smart TV or a desktop PCRoom based video conference systems come at a price. They can come at a price for very good reasons. They use high quality components to offer you the best possible video conference experience. Lets look at the differences between a good Skype Room setup and a traditional VC room. Skype Room in your home Microphones: Webcam integrated microphone. Causes echo, very susceptible to backdrop noise e. g. aircon very hard to hear all participants Accord Cancelation: Microphone and TV speakers are too close together enabling windows to provide echo cancellation. Even if separated echo will cause useful issues Camera: Imagine you are in a four way call. Your company meeting room will only occupy ¼ of the far end screen. Without the presence of ability to zoom & focus properly a person sitting at the end of the very table will only occupy 1% of screen real estate - perhaps you may as well be using audio. Packet Loss: Skype calls suffer whenever packet loss is greater than 5% (very common) Skype in most cases uses "relays" to communicate which dramatically increases packet decline and latency both leading to lower quality Resolution: Skype a resolution might look fine in a small window on your desktop, but when thought of on a large screen, the quality cannot compete typical Skype enquiries are QVGA (320x240) and bare the Skype certified business logo. Traditional VC Room System Microphones: Multiple microphones so everyone can be clearly heard Echo Cancelation: Dedicated echo cancelation Dslr camera: High Quality PTZ camera. Packet Loss: In built packet impairment (method varies from manufacturer)
