@peachfuzzbutt yes! Joker and Harley's date was one of the most memorable moment from the show, especially since the VA themselves are singing and slaying it! I agree with the series becoming a bit worse in the last seasons, especially when though enemies gets one-shotted like random thugs even by robin or batgirl (see Rumors episode). However, it's still my favourite series ever and I would have never got involved in the batman fandom if it weren't for it.

I am doing a rewatch of The Batman 2004 and oh my, the nostalgia!! This series is sooo cool. Here's some reasons why:

Batman gets wrecked by all of his enemies before developing a good technique to beat them;

He actually does detective work;

He cares about everyone, even his enemies;

Alfred is savage as fuck;

Some of the villains have absolutely rad designs like Man Bat, Killer Croc, Mr.Freeze, Scarface, Firefly..(I also LOVE Joker's design btw);

Ellen yin is a badass woman;

They replicated twoface's story with another important character;

The opening music omg;

Every villain is smart, even though they have been stripped of all their PhDs (something I disliked);

Joker is not abusive toward Harley, except in their first meeting, then they seem to get along well as partners in crime;

Albino Bud and Lou!!!!!!

Joker is actually funny and not an overpowered incel;

The animation is so fluid, especially during fights;

Catwoman is not sexualized;

Every episode has a compelling story;

It shows perfectly how difficult is it for Bruce to be both himself and Batman;

Batman almost gets killed because of a raccoon;

JUST WATCH IT!
