But i just think that Kirino is like humming-bird

I have to admit, I first thought some kind of shore bird would fit Kirino, like a bird that lives in a really foggy/misty area? but I couldn't really find any specific species relating to fog nor had any strong ideas myself so I might ditch that thought haha

in my mind hummingbird is not maybe the best match but it works well enough :3 they have pretty colorless and simple wings, but I found a species that fits Kirino well I think: anna's hummingbird!

I also took this opportunity to draw Shindou too! peacock wings are so fun but hard to figure out, and they're eye-catching even without the classic peacock tail feathers. but they're also massive and Shindou struggles some with all the tertiary feathers; they make fitting clothes a lot harder. good thing he's rich haha

I guess I only have one other question about the P2 leak: why did Peacock even have it?

Like.... at least in the US, I think DR is a Netflix exclusive. I know other countries have other deals, so MAYBE it was an international Peacock thing? Please correct me if that's the case.

That being said, I'm hesitant to believe it because - historically in this fandom - non-US leaks have ALWAYS had their country of origin heavily attached, no matter what language the episodes came out in. I haven't seen any of that this time. In fact, I saw someone OUTSIDE of the US asking for access tips, and someone else told them to VPN into the US to use Peacock. (Serves me right for not saving it when I saw it, but it was like five in the morning for me.... source: dude trust me).

Now, that's not unprecedented - I remember times when the US would get a drop first and then help fans in other countries access it. That's completely normal. My question is - assuming this is still a Netflix exclusive and something didn't change without me hearing about it - if this WAS US Peacock as the sharing patterns suggest, how did they have it? When did the deal change?

(Secondary: who TF at Peacock left it up OVERNIGHT???? Seriously, I woke up to a bunch of different people advertising Drives and backups and YouTube links. Those take time to assemble and upload!!!!!)

Jaguar! My all time favorite primary, always a hit for me. looks wonderful on tundras, and it does such a great job with color distribution, gives them sick eye liner, and is usually pretty fun to draw imo!

Pinstripe! (ahaha sorry dfgsfd) i just love what it does with some colors, it can be so vibrant and unique and honestly i just think it's neat C: i have had to actively stop myself from giving more dragons pinstripe since its kind of a pain to brew fdgsdf

Eye spots! Honestly not sure what it is about the pattern but i just lovely it..vaguely mothy, the circles are neat. pairs well with basically anything! it's similar to jaguar, but less overwhelming as a secondary compared to rosette which i really like. (though i do like rosette too! but just not as much haha)

Seraph! making my dragons into the angels that they are <3 just love the feathery texture, it's always a cute look to me!! and especially for tiny snapper wings haha but it works for everyone c:

Runes! love the little sparkliness and especially love how it colors dragons horns! we need more terts that do that (glimmer and okapi were totally contenders for here too tbh). it always makes for a cute touch on dragons, and is a good magical looking gene since these guys are generally magical beings after all! as much as i love animal-y ones too, if i have to go for a non-animalistic gene this is definitely what i want c:

Peacock!! accent colors my beloved! again, we need more terts that play with accent colors. and also more terts that are more wing-based. peacock is great on both accounts though! i like that it plays into the Fake Eyes thing that some animals have in nature too, but it's also such a vibe c:

idc if i sound greedy anymore i need an aether gene expansion yesterday. they got done soooo dirty half their genes are nothingburger and the other half have been given to ancients with other cooler genes. and moderns! where's poison/toxin. where's pinstripe/trail. ribbon/eel. cherub/seraph. why do they have ZERO ported genes from other ancients. auraboa are also a treasure breed and they have EIGHT ported linebreaking terts, along with their own seven original. that's 15 linebreaking terts to aether's 7! forget ancient terts, where are opal glimmer capsule peacock koi... why did they get like every ugly ass tert in the game. id trade keel spines smirch and scales for One decent looking tertiary. i love aether so much but i keep having to scry my dragons as other breeds because they have like 5 good looking genes total

Backstory:

Eden was born to a single mother in the heart of New Jersey, and immediately their fate was set in stone.

They were destined to take on their mother’s business, being taught for day one that the world was cruel and not worth any light, only the darkness they will inevitably find.

They were hidden from public view for years, which severely impacted their psyche. Declared criminally insane, that’s what they all said Eden would be when they finally started to work…

It was fine, fun even! to be covered head to toe in the sticky red substance that others would call blood. What they did came naturally, weapons becoming an extension of themself. Teeth, bones, severed limbs, they all became trophies that proved Eden earned their spot next to Mother, as the Underboss.

It came as a shock that they were of magical descent, never believing in the mythological. There was no point, no physical evidence, at least, not until Eden subconsciously transformed into a past victim when speaking about the things they did to his corpse. Sure, they were used to looks of fear from their men but damn that weren’t this bad before.

It was a weird talk, having to hear about their Father who wore robes n’ shit and cast spell and blah blah blah, they honestly fell asleep in the middle of it all.

It ended with them getting a bunch of… Knuts, sickles and galleons?? And told they were going to a magic school for a couple years and that it would be safer????? Alrighty then, whatever Mother says goes.

Now they’re here, traumatized and tired, riddled with dark humor and the tiniest understanding of magic, a weird ass stick and some other guys.

Maybe they can make a Wizard mafia… wonder if any of these stick twiddlers know how to fight fist to fist.
