pearfat is doing summer samples of these so i got one. came with some cute art, a sticker, and a bonus sample i'll also review

anyways this is very summery but also unique. like rhubarb fizzy water. it's crisp, juicy, green, and sour, but not sweet at all to me. watery but not at all salty, this is a lake smell for sure. i love it, it's enchanting, i am a huge pearfat fan now

You know that one post on here that's like "I already know what your potato chips will taste like because I read the ingredients and synthesized the flavor in my mind and it needs more salt" or something?

Well that's how I've felt trying to find a perfume to start wearing, because I haven't had time to go shopping in person so all I've been doing is looking at different perfumes on fragrantica and trying to imagine what they smell like based on the descriptions on there. "Top notes of orange with base notes of cedar and vanilla? Hmm, could use some flowers"

I feel so shy coming to you asking this but can I please have advice from you on what perfume would suit me best: I like Cardamom, Cumin, White florals, Paper adjacent scents, Non- gourmand vanilla , Musk, Mimosas, Wood, fresh green, incense and bergamot! You have posted a couple really nice perfume reviews and I really trust you!



Oh this is really sweet i'm flattered that you reached out :) first few that come to mind are:

comme des garcons 2011 - delicate white florals (notes of lilac and saffron) and synthetic scotch tape note... Not paper, but along the same lines. Sounds like a weird combination of notes but ends up being light and airy and not too sweet. unfortunately last i checked there are no sample vials online

2030 park ave by pearfat - notes of tuberose, musk, and cedar. sweet but not in a cloying way & it has a sort of metallic synthetic note to me, similar to paper scents

pistachio by ds & durga - technically a gourmand frag but I am not a fan of gourmand and i lovee this. creamy cardamom-y patchouli vanilla

other ones u might like are fleur d'oranger 27 by le labo, morel map by clue, gosha rubchinskiy by comme des garcons, and dirt by demeter although its more like a body spray IMO
