Okay, beeffriend. I have to tell you a story. So yours was the first asknado ask I got and it was before I saw the pedroscout post so I can't tell you how long I sat here trying to figure out what ASHNADO was an acronym for. I'm like, is that the name of the Corona campaign? What are the titles of the upcoming Pedro projects? What am I missing???

So I let it sit for a moment and then went through my feed and I'm like. Oh. OHHHHHHHHHHH *headsmack*

This is in no way to single out the typo, but it is in every way to illustrate the clown show of me sitting on my couch in a post-12-hr-day stupor going... durrrrrrrrr for like 10 minutes.

*smh at mself*

Okay. Then we get to your question. I don't know what capture the flag is, because I'm a dummy at sports. But now I know because Google's a hell of a thing.

Joel, Dieter, and Dave are the winning team.

See, over on the other team you've got Frankie who is going to be the strongest player. He's able to think ahead and strategize. But he does have Javi G on his team. Javi's gonna try real hard, but he doesn't have the right footwear and he's going to be really polite and hesitant about possibly running into someone or getting tackled or something. And then you've got Javier, and he's got better things to do. He's not going to run unless he absolutely has to. He's probably just going to let himself get caught so he can sit out for a minute and smoke.

Over on our winning team? Dave's a lot like Javier in that he probably finds this a waste of time. But if he's here, he might as well commit to it--the faster everyone wins, the faster this is done. With that attitude, he's able to get Joel into the same mindset and they go into predator mode, taking down the other team in duet one by one like a pack of lions on a herd of gazelles. I mean, Dieter is there too and he's a fuckup, but he's also a wild card. If you get him on a day where he's game (read: a coke day instead of a pot day), that boy will run. He won't even make a half-ass attempt of chasing anyone, but he's fast enough to not get caught and that keeps him out of the trench.

The game is over in 1 minute 29 seconds tops, Joel and Dave taking out Javier first who shrugs and heads to the sidelines, then Javi who goes into panic and throws his hands up over his face as the two killers come at him at once. The other minute and 13 seconds is the two of them trying to corner Frankie who is way too fast and only gets caught because he runs into Dieter who just stepped out of the restroom and into his path.

so in a world filled with bad vibes, i just wanna shout out a few folks that have done their absolute damndest to make this community a beautiful space.

i genuinely cannot express how bummed i was to miss @sp00kymulderr 's Pedro Party on Friday. From what i've seen the party was a roaring success and everyone managed to nurse their hangovers with a smile the next day.

@secretelephanttattoo has been doing some truly AMAZING community building with her Secret Springs universe. I don't know where the hell you all are finding pictures of the WEIRDEST knicknacks in the world but I LOVE THEM!

@pedroscouts might win Best Pedro Fan of All Time. This is exactly how you build a community, how you foster inclusion and excitement. You are out here doing The Work and I thank you so much for it!

Pedro. Dear Pedro. I hate the taste of Corona but am VERY MUCH ENJOYING seeing his face and visage all over my dash with the Corona ads. Especially the one with a tiny snippet of Celia Cruz playing in the background and he's just vibing to the beat and feeling it in his heart.

and the OUTFITS! I love these. When will he release a custom line of PedroJammies to let us all celebrate beach loungewear with him?! *muah*

Thank you to @happypedrohours @pedroscouts @pedrosummercamp for helping make this summer a good time in the fandom.

Spring was rough. Not just with me and all THAT SHIT but there was so much plagerism, hateful asks, targeted haressment etc within the fandom. It's so nice to see everyone coming together and doing nice things with each other and getting along. I almosst quit writng a few months back, and I was VERY close to not writing pedro anymore

One Bed: This isn't a "traditional" one-bed trope, but Squirming by @frannyzooey definitely has the same vibe because of the whole "share one sleeping bag" thing it has going on.

Jack "Whiskey" Daniels: Omg, I've read Palomino so many times. @fuckyeahdindjarin wrote such an epic romance that I just... ::: sigh:::

Fan Art: I've for sure loved and shared a lot of great fan art.

Slow Burn: I read Death and An Angel by @littlemisspascal and was hooked from chapter one. Binge-read the entire thing in one sitting, and was completely invested from start to finish. Such a beautiful and creative love story!

Crack/Dieter: I got a hilarious two-for-the-price-of-one with Low Hanging Gruit by @covetyou. This was another recommendation that definitely made me laugh out loud. Googled a Term: I can't tell you how often I've had to Google something fic-related. I'm old. I can't keep up with the "cool kids" anymore...

Got Silly in the Tags: It is rare for me to get really silly in the tags. I like to use my tags for organizing (type A much?) and I mostly get silly in the reblog with comments/gifs.

Marcus Moreno: Throwing it back to @frannyzooey and The Secret series, which was my fic intro to Marcus. Deliciously written. Chefs kiss (per usual).

Song Fic: It's not a "traditional" song fic, but I Hear a Symphony by @projectionistwrites is all centered around Joel's rediscovering his love for music.

Coffee Shop AU: Again, it's not 100% traditional, but Hot Coffee by @omgreally was a treat of a one-shot that gave me the jitters!

Rom-Com: Grays by @fuckyeahdindjarin made me laugh from the get-go. By fan-fic standards, it's probably considered an "oldie," but it's definitely a goodie.

Awakened a Kink: I have no children. I also have no desire to have children. But breeding kink fics sometimes makes my brain go "brrr." Especially if it's mixed with competency and the reader is taken care of/protected.

Forced Proximity: @goodwithcheese recently penned Girl Next Door and when I say I am UNWORTHY... I mean... Jesus H. Christ...

Dark Fic & Max Phillips: Blood & Tinsel by @morallyinept is a dark(ish), spicy, smutty mix that pulls you in from the first sentence!

Javi G: Care for a Little Golden Hour by @all-the-way-down-here is a Javi G. x Male Reader fic full of spice and care.

Sent a Horny Anon: I've sent them anon and not anon. LOL

Whump: Omg... Tonight You Belong To Me by @intheorangebedroom is the whumpiest-whump that ever whumped. If you're into angst and being all up in your feels, this is a fic for you!

Din Djarin: An oldie, but a goodie from @charnelhouse called In the Dark. It's the "we almost died" smut story we all know and love.

Soulmate: Again, Death and An Angel by @littlemisspascal was an amazing fic. A totally different take on the soulmate trope that had me hooked from chapter one. I absolutely loved it!

Fluff: Let Me by @polaroidpascal is a very gentle fic about taking care of your partner and giving them a bit of extra love - especially when they need it most.

Bookshop AU: The Book of Love by @undercoverpena is still one of my favorite Bookshop AU fics to read. Full of all the feels and fluff and flirting.

Mortifying Typo: I think we've all done this before. LOL

Marcus Pike: All the Time in the World by @whataperfectwasteoftime was a beautiful one-shot about a couple's first time together. Very romantic and full of emotion and so very, very gentle. I loved it!

Angst: Emergency Contact by @javiscigarette definitely hit me right in the feels. So much emotion packed into a one-shot!

Western: There are two that stick out in my head: Palomino and Adversity. Both are so amazing!

Dave York: Just read Second Sight by @goodwithcheese and literally had to dig my own grave because I perished. PERISHED, I tell you.

Booped: Oh, you know I booped. I booped my way to the top. lmfao

Oberyn Martell: Dancing Phantoms on the Terrace by @janaispunk didn't have to come for my throat like it did... :::ugly crying:::

Yes Chef! Dieter's Sky High Brownie Delights:

Ingredients:

1 cup cannabis-infused coconut oil

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

1 cup flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup chocolate chips

Turn on the oven to… “a hawt vibe”, and then mix the ingredients in…no, Dieter that’s a vase. Alright, most peeps should probs use a mixer, Dieter is using his hands. Yes D, I will be happy to lick your fingers when I have a moment. I suggested adding the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, but Dieter started giggling as soon as I said the word “wet”. D, I don’t think we’re supposed to sample the cannabis before we…okay I’ll finish up here. Dieter has retired to his room to “watch the pretty rainbows form in his mind” and has requested we bring the brownies and our “bangin’ body” to his room when ready. #staybakedyall

While we were "baking" Dieter the Chef taught me a naughty limerick and I thought I'd pass it on. Thanks to @punkshort for the fun prompt and congrats on the one year anniversary! hi jo!!! this made me smile so much, I love this question! I do like Nevarro - hot springs and a little cabin, what more could you want??

But if you could go back in time, I would chose Alderaan or Scariff. But if I can’t, then it’s gotta be Naboo - gorgeous sites, and I am sure plenty of frogs for Grogu to peek at 🐸💖

And on the ship I would bring a mountain of blankets to stay cozy, and a holobook filled with texts to read while we’re traveling (or whatever a space kindle is called! 😁)
