Continuing the Percy de Rolo cosplay posting. These are from a studio photoshoot in 2022 and what a highlight of that year. @thelast-centurion had mentioned wanting to make Orthax and a photog friend was coming in town so we Made It Happen. Truly a dream collab working with good friends.

Pretty much all the effects are practical! A combo of lens prism filters, the infinity wall in the studio, and a smoke machine. The smoke from the smoke machine loved getting caught in all the tulle in Orthax and created some really lovely effects

So I have never made props out of eva foam but I have watched several videos on building a prop from a base shape. (Totally not the same, but I've got the theory? Lol).

Anyways- this is my study to build the layers for my Percy cosplay!

Next up- ordering a lot of materials and safety supplies.
