Psst! Hey, Dyaz. Had you saw/read the new theory about jjk? It actually puts in context a lot of things in the latest chapters and honestly it blew my mind when I read it
Gonna put the link of the post here in case you want to read it. I'm gonna cry and scream so hard if that theory results to be true T-T
https://www.tumblr.com/thepersonperson/762115329999650816/why-the-hell-is-jjk-270-called-dreams-end?source=share
So I don't read theories because I've been around a while and I've gotten used to people making theories with tons of 'evidence' and then 99% of them end up not being true, and at this point it feels like we're just throwing stuff at the wall and trying to figure out what sticks.
With that being said, I'm never putting anything past Gege, and I am so serious in saying that this would be the worst possible ending as far as I'm concerned. My biggest criticism about Jujutsu Kaisen in recent chapters has been that it made me feel dumb for caring. I have actually been very positive about chapter 270 because of how human it felt. If it turns out that this was all in Yuuji/Megumi/whoever's mind, it's would feel like an absolute slap in the face to me.
If everyone dies and we just go to some meaningless fucking grimdark ending I'm so serious in saying that it's the kind of shit that would make me never interact with the fandom again. Like not reread the manga, not buy it, not follow the anime when it comes out again, I just genuinely would want nothing to do with it anymore, because what would have been the fucking point. I would also never touch anything he'd do ever again because if you care this little about your characters, your audience, and your story (because what would the meaning even BE if everyone was dead?? there's ONE chapter left, if that's what he's going for there's even LESS time to make something meaningful out of it), why would I?
Anyway, sorry if this sounds agressive anon it's not against you AT ALL it's just that even just thinking about it makes me lose my shit. We'll see soon, but I'll probably be out of the fandom if that's what happens.
#like i'd cry a little bit and then i'd consider that gege s'est bien foutu de ma gueule and drop the fandom as a whole#would probably finish my gojo/kagome fic because that's barely in the fandom anyway but apart from that i'd be out#jujutsu kaisen#jjk#jjk 270#jujutsu kaisen spoilers#jjk spoilers#jjk leaks#jujutsu kaisen leaks#jjk theories#fan theories#jujutsu kaisen theories

Grantaire things I don't see being talked about (at all)
The Grantaire episode of my little barricade boys appreciation post series where I reread the Brick and listed some details I would otherwise forget, things that might be interesting and also more general stuff about the Amis.
we stan a good gourmet
can box, foot-fence and dance
single-stick player
his first monologue is over three pages long
in the English version I have in front of me it says "The Brutus who killed Cæsar was in love with the statue of a little boy." but in the German version it reads: "[...] was in love with a little boy made of marble." and I instantly remembered Grantaire saying about Enjolras "What fine marble!" So... maybe that means nothing but I just wanted to point that out
"I know nothing." -> proceeds with his highly intellectual rant
literally sits on the other side of the room from Joly and Bahorel but still loudly chimes in to their conversation
"I can talk the most superb twaddle for six hours by the clock" - and believe me, nobody would ever doubt that
getting two bottles for himself when entering the Corinthe
calls himself hypochondriac
Bossuet and Joly are R's best friends because they're the only ones that can put up with him for longer than a few hours and you can't convice me otherwise
"Every good girl contains a hero." (So, the context of this quote is honestly very sexist and harassing but I got this feeling that modern!Grantaire would be better than this and frame it in a respectful manner -> this comment is not meant to excuse his behaviour in this situation, I just think that he's always overcompensating things to hide what he really thinks)
wanting to give money to poor people if he were rich
looking tenderly at Enjolras
waking up right in time as Enjolras is close to being shot
《Vive la République! J’en suis.》
《Permets-tu?》
dying at Enjolras' feet
(Episode 1: Courfeyrac, Episode 2: Jehan, Episode 3: Bahorel, Episode 4: Feuilly, Episode 5: Joly, Episode 6: Bossuet, Episode 7: Combeferre, Episode 8: Enjolras)

A List of My OTPs
because it's 11 and I can't sleep.
Enjolras x Grantaire a.k.a. Enjoltaire a.k.a. ExR- Les Mis
How I fell into this I don't remember now. I vaguely remember reading a crackfic of this and then everything just went sideways.
This was also the fandom that helped me realize that I wasn't exactly straight and that it's okay to not be loud about my sexuality, that I can just be.
I think that explains my attachment to this ship, not to mention just the movie's Grantaire (played by George Blagden) also shipped the characters and played his character like how he thought it should be, Grantaire loving and pining after Enjolras without the revolutionary knowing it.
Except in the fan fics, Enjolras returns his feelings and they work it out, even though it's not easy because they're both stubborn as mules. Ah, ultimate fantasy I guess. And the number of great fics here, *whistle*
Also, the Les Amis? Is amazing? Especially in the modern AUs? Like they're great friends? I love this fandom so much! Permets-tu!
Shen Wei x Zhao Yunlan - Guardian / Zhen Hun
C'mon, Zhu Yilong & Bai Yu's performance and emotions? Plus just the fact the fanfic writers of this ship are absolutely amazing? Please, escape from this pairing is impossible!
Best opposites attract trope for me. An academic by day, superhero by night in love with a roguish police chief who has no powers but whose charisma, wit, and heart can get him to toe to toe with the legends.
Also, Professor Shen Wei constantly acting like an innocent civilian and lying badly? Gold!
Loki x Tony Stark a.k.a. FrostIron - Avengers
How did I honestly get to this ship? I really can't remember what started it all. I think it must have been a Loki redemption fic where Tony Stark and Pepper broke up and something something happened. Let me tell you, the writers of this ship have written sagas and ballads of epic and sometimes confusing proportions, and that is why I fell deeper into the pit. I mean, they gotta give justice to two brilliant but chaotic characters, right? Angst. This ship has sooooooooo much angst.
Eiji x Ash - Banana Fish
My god, if you want to keep your heart intact and not be reminded of all that's ugly in the world, DON'T WATCH OR READ BANANA FISH. YOUR HEART WILL NEVER HEAL!
If you're gonna watch/read it anyway, make sure to watch something fluffy and sweet after. There's a reason that people from this fandom go, "If you've seen Banana Fish's ending, then you can handle whatever angsty show you're watching now." ~ or something to that effect. Another thing we like to say in this fandom is, "Other fandoms: Let's write a Mafia AU! Banana Fish fandom: We are the Mafia AU." Yes, all of us in this fandom is dramatic af.
Yuuri x Viktor - Yuuri!!! on Ice
Uh, does this really need an explanation? Aside from the fact that you will surprisingly find a lot of Mafia AUs here because we all know that hiding behind that beautiful face of Viktor Nikiforov is a devil capable of... tearing down your self-confidence, like WTF Viktor, don't make Yuuri cry! Also, their dance together at the end, such beautiful love.
Magnus Bane x Alec Lightwood aka Malec - Shadowhunters
I never read the books and have no plans to in the near future. I just saw a video on Youtube about why Malec is life and now here I am, still reading some Malec fics from time to time.
Some stuff on the show were WTF but overall they were a really good couple who supported each other. Plus, they're a Power Couple.
Erwin x Levi aka Eruri - Attack on Titan / Shingeki no Kyojin
Not to be confused with Ereri, which is Eren x Levi, which I don't generally ship except for that one time when a writer wrote an epic fanfic series with Eren in his mid 20s and Levi in his late 20s/early 30s, reincarnation AU. Boy was that one a surprise. I did not expect that.
Anyway, I'm an Eruri fan through and through. Especially with that promise that Levi made to Erwin. And the reason he gave the serum to Armin. HE DIDN'T DO IT FOR THE KIDS YKNOW. HE DID IT FOR ERWIN. Plus, Levi, Erwin, and Hange are my special trio. Erwin's batch was really amazing.
Also, I really like the fact that the shorter and slighter person is the more badass fighter while the taller, bigger one is the more calculating and strategic one. Rocks the boat of stereotypes and all that. Bonus: how these two met. My god, what a meet-cute! 😂
Dani x Jamie aka The Au Pair and the Gardener - The Haunting of Bly Manor
It really is more of a love story than a ghost story. I dunno how to feel about this. I loved these two characters so much and I wished they had a better ending but I wasn't SO surprised because it was a horror series (Like, I was still hoping at the end that they'd be together forever but yknow...). In any case, Jamie was just awesome. And her nickname for Dani? Poppins?! God, what a lover and fighter. She was not afraid to cock a gun in a ghost's face.
... and now for my flexible BROTPs
Merlin x Arthur aka Merthur - BBC Merlin
Yeah, my brain is so chaotic multiple OTPs and BROTPs of the same pairing exist at the same time without clashing with one another or having major identity crises.
I actually really like BROTP Merlin and Arthur and also like reading OTP Merthur.
And when Merlin is paired with Morgana or Freya or sometimes even Gwaine, that's fine with me too. As long as his bromance with Arthur stays intact, because that's what drew me to the show in the first place. Personal preference. I see them as platonic soulmates.
*Shout-out to the Merthur writers though, you kept me sane during my "Post-Merlin Depression," which is actually a term thrown around in the fandom because of that horrid final season (not saying it's a good term but it's what it was called). A lot of amazing fics here, too, both Magic Reveal and Modern AU ones. Full of action and adventure too! I mean, there are boy-band-looking Knights and magic-wielding badasses!
Tim Drake x Conner Kent/Kon-El aka Red Robin x Super Boy - DC Comics
More like flexible otp. I dig Stephanie Brown and Tim Drake BUT I really really also dig Tim Drake and Conner Kent. When they're TimKon, it's like an entirely different entity from TimSteph. Ugh, hard to explain.
I mean, Kon telling Tim, "You'll always be my Robin" and Tim telling Kon, "And you'll always be my clone boy" is the shit. Also when Kon could pick out/recognize Tim's heartbeat. And when Tim nearly went mad scientist trying to bring his bestie back. Like, dudes, wtf. And at the same time, hell yeah.
Liu Kang x Kung Lao aka LiuLao - Mortal Kombat
- I see these two as more like ride or die best friends connected by fate/platonic soulmates. But also like their dynamic is so awesome, cute, sweet, badass, can't-live-without-you vibes.
Basically the same way I feel about Merthur. I like reading both romantic and platonic relationships between these two characters. Like, the LiuLao fan creators peeling off the layers of this relationship and exposing every raw nerve is beautiful.
They love diving into the characters' psyche, emotions, motivations, fears, and doubts and you get really amazed because... Aren't they just characters from a video game, you ask? Well yeah, but MK video game has several interesting storylines and the Mortal Kombat 2021 movie was just the perfect jumpstarter to this beautiful blaze.
I mean, "We swore that if we were to die, it would be together"? Hell no, you're not dropping that on us and not expecting us to create our very own spin-offs and 12-page essays on that shit. That's what we fans do, baby. And also, really, we need a shaolin monks/white lotus spin-off/prequel. We're starving here.
As this ship is the newest one on my list, it's the one I'm looking forward to the most. Not enough fan content, I tell you. Not enough. One of these days, I just might add my own.
But right now, it's past 1 and so I shall attempt to sleep.
***No images for TimKon and LiuLao coz apparently I've gone past my 10-images allowance 😤

5 tho for the salty ask list...? Just curious. Very curious.
5.Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?
Oh boy. Weeellll. Yes. You've managed to hit the one thing i am salty about. E n j o l t a i r e
Firstly, I'm not hating on anyone in my answer I'm just sharing my opinions please don't get offended
So at first i actually quite liked enjoltaire? I came across some good stuff at the beginning, which is great!! But then~
It is. Way too much. It swamps everything else ahhsjhxgxxgxhdhshsl
THERE ARE SO MANY COOL ASPECTS OF LES MIS CAN WE MAYBE TALK ABOUT THOSE TOO
it may also be because i land on the canon side of things most of the time i just personally do not vibe very well with fanon
And yes i know, permets tu and all, but honestly I do not see it. Hugo may have compared being in love to holding hands (in death) but he also talked about all the different kinds of love
I agree that if they had more time they could've learned from each other but NOT ROMANTICALLY
I still like enjoltaire in moderation. When there is content i like. But on the whole, nuh-uh
I've gone off topic and this isn't very eloquent but i was trying to keep it as nice as possible TY FOR THE ASK <3 :)

Top 5 favorite individual Grantaires and Enjolrati that I’ve seen (not necessarily all from the same production.)
Grantaire:
1. Joseph Spieldenner (US Tour 2010). I’m gonna go with my bias because I’ve seen Joe as Grantaire about 5 times and I just think he’s lovely. His interpretation of R is more sad and yearning, but I just adore it so much. Even when he’s goofing there’s an air of loneliness in it, just kind of being loud to have someone give him attention. But his decision to have that scream as a reaction to Gavroche’s death gives him a really interesting depth which, obviously, is more show-based than canon-based, but I like that he could create this relationship between Grantaire and Gavroche and put another layer of narrative on his death.
2. Turlough Convery (BBC Les Miserables miniseries 2019). I know this series had a lot of problems but I think even for his screentime this was the most Brick-accurate Grantaire I’ve ever seen. We see him being loud and annoying, we also see his anxiety and we see his dedication towards Enjolras. We didn’t really get any exactly Brick-canon R scenes, but he managed to get across both the jovial brashness of Grantaire and the fact that he’s anxious and full of doubt until the end. And I know R’s physical description doesn’t exist in the Brick, but Convery looked more like I always imagined Brick R to look, down to the facial hair even.
3. Alex Organ (Dallas Theater Center 2014). Okay I know this is unusual but I really loved this Grantaire. Alex Organ played him with an air of defeated anger. By the end, he’s got a bitterness that is more final than it is angry, like he can’t understand why they’ve all chosen to sacrifice themselves like this and he hates it and he’s bitter that all his friends are going to die but he’s realized there’s nothing he can do about it. He’s quieter than most Grantaire’s but it’s very intense, like he’s just radiating hurt.
4. George Blagden (Les Miserables 2012 movie). Again, not a lot of screentime for him but he did a good job looking all sad and mopey and stuff. I’m still sad his Drink With Me was cut, partly because I think Blagden’s interpretation of R was interesting, and partly because he has a gorgeous voice and I wanted to hear him do Drink With Me. I think he would have done a really good job with it, and with portraying the depth of Grantaire’s doubt.
5. John Rapson (US Tour 2010/Broadway 2014). I think I only saw John Rapson once or twice but I remember liking that he played Grantaire as a little more obnoxious, and that his drunkenness and obvious doubt or negativity was a little more of a disruption. I think he definitely played up the annoying factor of R more than the sad and moping factor, but that’s an interesting way to play it. Especially because it’s an aspect that a lot of fans ignore, despite Hugo kind of explicitly saying R was annoying, even though his friends did enjoy his company.
Enjolras:
1. John Campione (Dallas Theater Center 2014). Holy crap I loved his portrayal so much. He does a great job playing Enjolras like a stressed out passionate leader who is constantly stuck between This Is Finally Real Hooray and Holy Shit This Is Too Fucking Real Oh God. Most actors portray Enjolras as very controlled and upright and unfazed, but Campione portrayed him in a way that made it seem like he cared so much and was so intent on making all of this work and succeed. In the Musain scenes he’s very controlled, but once he’s on the barricade it’s like he’s being pulled in too many directions because he’s just trying to help everyone. It’s so good.
2. Kyle Scatliffe (Broadway 2014). He was so amazing to see on Broadway and his voice is SO powerful and just wow. I remember reading an article talking about how intense and beautiful it was to see him sing the line “we will not be slaves again” and I honestly cannot believe that this was the first time in Les Mis history that a professional version of the show cast a person of color as Enjolras. And he fucking nailed it. I love that he played Enjolras with such earnest power. Someone who knows what they can do and is going to fucking use it, but they also care so damn much.
3. Aaron Tveit (Les Miserables 2012 movie). I think this interpretation of Enjolras is more controlled than usual, more general-like, and definitely leans more toward the chaste, marble statue type characterization. But I think Tveit really plays Enjolras with a certain charisma. At the same time, I think he did a fairly good job portraying Enjolras’ emotional journey at the barricade: his conviction, then his moment of doubt, then his passion and determination and ultimately the sort of unbreaking glory of his sacrifice. (Sad as I am that we didn’t get permets-tu in the movie, I do love the way he juts his chin out like “I will not bow to you or anyone else”.)
4. Jason Forbach (US Tour 2010). His portrayal of Enjolras was a lot kinder, I think, softer. He was powerful when he needed to be (One Day More, etc) but in the Musain and stuff he was a lot more like one of the guys. He played his role more like a chosen leader, like someone who wants everyone’s input about everything but everyone has voted him to be the leader, so he takes on that role once he sees that things really need to start getting done. Also, his irritated interactions with Grantaire are even funnier if you know that he and Joe Spieldenner were dating at the time (now married).
5. Jeremy Hays (US Tour 2010). I only saw Jeremy Hays once, the first time I ever saw the show live. I think what I loved most about his portrayal was the power. The power with which he plays Enjolras is all passion. Definitely hitting both the “charming” and “capable of being terrible.”
#les miserables#les mis#les miserables meta#grantaire#enjolras#this just popped in my head the other day so i typed it up#p.s. i know it's an old joke but i still love enjolrati as the plural of enjolras

Enjolras goes, he moves on. It was a silly thought anyway, to think that some lyrics... He knows, of course, how many people are affected by music, and yet...
"Wait!" Grantaire says. Enjolras turns back, trying not to do it too quickly.
Grantaire looks at him. He too seems to be without words, for an instant.
"I know this is weird, possibly creepy, but could you take my hand again? Not shake it, but, take it."
"Uh, well, yes. Of course." Enjolras reponds.
He tells himself, again, that this could all mean nothing. Nothing to Grantaire, who, despite Enjolras' sensations, is a stranger. To whom Enjolras definitely is a complete and utter stranger, one of his many meetings and interviews today.
"I feel like I, you, have done it before", Grantaire says.
Enjolras smiles. Maybe he's not being ridiculous.
"Yes", he says. "Me too."
"I think...look, I'm a cheesy artist, you know that, just indulge me...I think I was enlightened the last time, not today but way before today, you took my hand. I think the earth disappeared beneath my feet when you let go. Or I let go...I can't tell."
"Literally" Enjolras says, trying to laugh, but failing.
"Yes" Grantaire says. He's not laughing either. His eyes are clear and bright.
#this is an eurovision!au#with contestor!Grantaire singing super cheesy lyrics#including 'permets tu'#giving Enjolras all the Unexpected Feels#anyway I'm never gonna write it properly#but I was just imagining this scene so#trying to write e/r-stuff to be bygones in terrible French before going to sleep#as one does

[🇬🇧/🇫🇷] Perpectives •Travelling helps you so badly to reconsider what truly matters. All we owned and needed could fit in a backpack and we were the happiest ever (I mean I was, can’t talk for her but I think she was fine 😜). This is simple but true, this specific sentence helped me to put things in perspective. Things, objects, luxurious stuff won’t affect your inner happiness. It will make you happy for a short amount of time. Money doesn’t buy happiness, nothing new here and ok it kinda helps cause I’ve never seen a homeless dude screaming of too much happiness in the streets. But yea, a backpack, that’s all it takes in my case. And I’m completely fine with it cause it could have been a plane or an insane car, but my mind picked a backpack, good guy brain 👍🏼🤯 • 🇫🇷 Bon, j’commence par où ?

Interview Bad Sleep

[FR]

Hello guys, and welcome on FLWNA ! Can you introduce yourselves, who’s who, what you’re doing in your life ?
Lily : I’m Lily, I’m the guitar player and singer of Bad Sleep. I work a lot of odd jobs but mostly I work in a bike shop.
Colter : I’m Colter, I play drums in Bad Sleep, and I bake bread !
Jack : I’m Jack, and I play bass and I work as a barman in a music venue.
Bad Sleep is quite new, you’ve been a band for a year and a half. How did you end up together, were you in other bands before ?
L : I was in this band Parasol for a long time, we sort of stopped playing music for a while, and I wanted to play something faster and worthy, and Colter and I are in another band together already. And I know Jack from RVIVR.
J : Yeah I moved to Olympia three years ago.
L : And I moved there about three years ago too. And I knew Jack wanted to be in a band, and he was in another band at the time. But I just wrote some songs, and Colter and I played on them a couple times and then we asked Jack to play.
You’ve made a dozen of shows in the USA in a year, and for the release of your EP you’ve been on a two week tour with Austeros, it’s pretty daring ! How did you end up on this tour ?
J : I’ve been friends with Jeremy since I was thirteen and he was fifteen, and I’v known Steve since we’re about seventeen. We’re from the same small town in England. We were talking about going to Europe last year.
L : Yeah they invited us to go and we just couldn’t say no.
What’s the process of composing in Bad Sleep ?
L : For the lyrics, I’ve been doing all the writings, and I bring riffs, and then we all work on it together most of the time, and then Colter also writes. We’ve started to write more together, he wrote one of the songs on the last EP. So yeah, sort of collaborative, sort of not.
C : It kind of comes together at practice.
How is it to be a band back there ? In France, Olympia is mostly known for RVIVR and a Rancid song. Is it hard to play in such a vast country, to do shows outside of Washington ?
J : It’s pretty easy on the west coast because you can tour in California, it certainly is a long drive but you can also go to Canada pretty easy.
L : The middle of the country is kind of hard but playing in Olympia, there’s a huge music scene, hardcore, punk, different metal scenes that I don’t even know about, so we get to play at least once a month there, there’s always new stuff going on, new bands. But you known, Portland and Seattle are a couple hours away , so you can play out of town if you really want to. But you know Olympia has an amazing music history, way before RVIVR, there’s been riot grrrl bands like Sleater-Kinney, Bikini Kill, all of K Records bands.
You released your EP a week early, and donate all the money in favor of the people who got arrested during the J20. I’m not sure I’ve got all the story right, can you explain ?
L : The J20 was Inauguration Day, there were protests all across the country against the inauguration of Donald Trump. But it was huge in Washington D.C., there was a massive protest going on, and basically, hundred of people got arrested and are now being targeted with felony, with outrageous charges that actually don’t make much sense. Some of them are facing 70 years in prison. And since Donald Trump arrival there’s been so much more oppression. Some are still in custody, some waiting for their trial, but there’s a general fund for them so we sent money their way. We got like 200$ so it was good.
We don’t get that many american band to answer our questions here, the one before was The Copyrights, so I’m going to ask a chauvinist question. What are the french bands that you like ?
L : I can’t really think of anything right now, I feel like there’s a lot of bands I listen to without knowing where they’re from.
J : I like Guerilla Poubelle, Bitpart and also Sports.

We always conclude our interviews with that same question. Why are you in a band ? What makes the effort so worth it ?
J : Well, A : I love the music and love playing it. But mostly it’s just doing DIY punk is how you can see the world and make friends that last for a really long time and have so much fun. It’s like getting to be a rockstar with no money, and none of the perks except travelling.
C : It’s just something I’ve been doing for a really long time and it makes me feel better than most things that I can be spending my time doing.
L : I feel like when I went to my first DIY show I was all “There’s people who understand me”. Not all punk is perfect obviously, but for me it’s so political, so it’s a way for me to meet new people, share ideas that are outside of capitalism a lot of time. Otherwise you don’t meet those people that you see at shows. Even though I’ve been doing this for about fifteen years, it steel feels really good, as it can also feels hard and shitty. But being in new places, seeing how other place functions, the outside world is a really nice thing.

Reviews:
“Hi to all, Right now I am almost done with the basic Java part of the course. Coming to this course with former background in Java, I am going through this part rather quickly just to make sure that I’m not missing on any crucial information. My impression at this point is that the instructor, Morteza, is an EXTREMELY meticulous instructor. He digs deep into the details and does a phenomenal job of explaining java language. I am eager to get to the Android programming phase of the course, because I’m assuming that if he does an equivalent instructional work there as he does in this java part, I will 100% understand android programming – and it is very exciting.” (Avi Gagel)
“I leave this rating because i liked this course and i learnt more things about Android Programming” (Nikolaos Papazian)
“When I started this course I was already engaged in another Android Development course that I’ve found in Udemy. The problem was I had coded for the last time 8 years ago in college. It was my first time with programming and it didn’t go well. The teachers were more interested in helping the already knowledgeable students with little or some experience than the newbies like me. So, in the other Android Dev course I mentioned, I was struggling with simple things: From int to doubles, ifs to ‘whiles’ and I didn’t even know what a class was because that was when I stopped the college, after not passing my grades. So I started looking for a course here in Udemy that would make me learn the basics again in a thorough and clinical pace. That’s when Morteza’s course got my attention. In simple words, I loved the course. My main focus points are: 1 – Morteza is super polite. 2 – He answers all your stupid questions without even criticize you, which let you free to ask all your stupid beginner questions. 3 – The course seems slow and boring at the start but that is because Morteza is focused on delivering the best understanding of the simple things in programming: what are variables, methods, classes and so on. 4 – This course is recommended to COMPLETELY beginners, not “beginners” like some other say and after a while you get lost. 5 – The codes are repetitive of some sort, but that’s not an issue after you complete the lessons and the course because you can see that you’ve learned everything even without making any practice exercise. That’s because Morteza explained everything in the little boring details so our stupid brain doesn’t get confused. =P 6 – Morteza doesn’t just put a method, like “Double.parseDouble” in your face and say “the android dev website has it explained, you should go there and see what it is”. He explains you, more than once and in different ways what the method does. Sometimes you get confused but that’s where the ‘repetitiveness’ of the codes come in handy. You see him coding the same stuff more than once and in the second time you understand everything (if not in the first). And for me, this is formidable because our brain works and learns through repetitiveness. 7 – But, be aware and read the course description. I know some people would come here, see 60 apps and think: “Wow. I will learn how to make 60 youtube, angry birds and so on apps on a beginners course”. That’s not how it is. Most apps are simple because Morteza tries to show us the simple things we can do, for example with a specific set of widgets or stuff like it. “Responsibility involves not giving a man a fish but teach him how to fish”. 8 – The course seems outdated because of the differences between the Android 2.2 and the version he used, I think 2.1, but it’s not. You can learn everything fine because there are not so many differences between the versions. 9 – I would recommend the Intermediate part to have more apps in the future, and more versions of popular apps like some other instructors in Udemy do because that can only be an upgrade. 10 – Independently, more apps on the intermediate version would make a treat. 11 – The ONLY app I would recommend to do a review on the video and make it more “chewed” for the baby users is the SQL one. I still am trying to understand everything on the app because I suck at SQL since college (bad teachers) and as a IT professional for years now I know people usually struggle with SQL. So, any changes to make it more clear would help imensily. 12 – Maybe some little exercises could have us newbies to get things faster too. Many Udemy courses suffer from the lack of exercises to keep us thinking and not just watching and writing. In this course case though this is just an advice because you will learn everything without a single exercise, just coding while watching the videos. 13 – Finally, for the most part of the course the 10 min videos are PERFECT! You don’t get tired because 10 minutes” (Arthur Abreu Leite Oliveira)
