Step-by-Step Guide to Keeping Your Windows Crystal Clear
Tumblr media
Keeping your windows and mirrors at home, shiny and sparkling, can be quite a challenge. Especially if you do not have the correct tools or methods. The team at Euca Online know that glass cleaning is very much an art as well as a science. That is why we have made it a personal mission to make a glass cleaner that not only works like a charm, every time but can be used for cleaning on all modern surfaces.
We have put together a step-by-step guide to ensure that your home’s windows and glass is crystal-clear all year round.
1. Wash your windows on a cloudy day
We would all assume that because the sun is shining it would make it easier to notice how dirty the glass is and assist in the drying time. In contrast, the light can cause the window-washing fluid to dry out rapidly, which can cause residue and streaks to be left behind. Whereas, if you wait until the weather is cloudy, the cleaning solutions will remain on the glass until you wipe it away — leaving a streak-free finish.
2. Dust before you spray
Before you begin, make sure that any dirt or debris from the window and window frame has been removed. This keeps dirt from contaminating the cleaner and resulting in a muddy mess. A few drops of the Euca Multi in a bucket of hot water is an excellent method to ensure your windows are spotless. Remove any dirt with a soft brush, then rinse and allow to dry.
3. Completely clean from top to bottom
If you want a fully streak-free window or mirror, ensure that you start cleaning from the top and work your way down to the bottom. Make use of gravity by allowing the cleaning solution to trickle onto the areas that have yet to be washed.
4. Squeegee can make a difference
It really is incredible how one little tool can take the final result to overwhelming heights. When using a cloth or paper towel you may find that product is being left behind or even little particles of dust. Using a squeegee, on the other hand, makes cleaning every portion of the window simple — especially those hard-to-reach areas.
5. Choose a trusty glass cleaner
There are several different glass cleaners on the market. However, you should try to avoid purchasing commercial glass cleaners that contain ammonia or alcohol. They may appear to leave you with a better clean, but they can leave streaks and even a thin layer of products that collects dust and moisture.
Opt for our Euca Glass cleaner instead. It is the most efficient cleaner for getting the job done correctly! It has the capacity to dry quickly and leaves very little residue behind. It also features anti-static characteristics that prevent dust and lint from adhering to it, keeping your windows cleaner for longer. Not only is it ideal for your glass windows, but also for any other surface that you want to keep crystal clear.
Visit www.eucaonline.com.au today to get your glass cleaner.

prison gf! ymir…who will side eye you and will order for you anyways if you say “oh im not hungry” while ordering take-out.
prison gf! ymir…who will smack tf out of your hand if you try taking her food with out asking first. somehow you still end up with half of it and she has a small scowl on her face but she still loves you.
prison gf! ymir… who REFUSES to let you smoke her product or get involved in her business no matter how many times you beg and plead.
prison gf! ymir…whos had a polaroid of you in her phone case.
prison gf! ymir…who makes fun of you for eating mint chocolate or cookie n’ cream (whichever you prefer) as if she dosen’t eat pistachio.
prison gf! ymir…who will knock your ice cream on the floor if you make fun of her for it. (don't worry she’ll buy you another.)
prison gf! ymir…who owns two cats with you and if your petting her cat ( you have a “child” and the other is hers) she will grab him and say “leave my son alone”.
prison gf! ymir… who knew you in hs and you were one of her dalma’s when she had her quince. You picked the dresses and if any one complains she would give them the nastiest stank eye.
prison gf! ymir…who was all giddy when she found out her contact name was “pretty girl🩷” with the contact photo of her in her quince dress.
prison gf! ymir…who has a pintrest board for you guys future wedding and has it privited so you don’t know.
prison gf! ymir…who follows you on pintrest and buys you stuff based off what you pin.

prison gf! ymir…who loves going to the beach with you.
prison gf! ymir…who will carry everything from the car with the maddest look on her face but you better not help cause she will tell you to “push off”. like damn my bad.
prison gf! ymir…who will be sitting there looking like a fucking guard dog if your tanning. let a volleyball accidentally lands near you. she ready to catch another felony.
prison gf! ymir…who will give the ball back, buck at ‘em, and will call them a “pussy” if they flinch.
prison gf! ymir…who is big australia hater
prison gf! ymir...who instigate fights at the waffle house.
prison gf! ymir…who is a big cory and berlezzy fan. like she ALWAYS quoting berlin.
prison gf! ymir…who, if your an artist, keeps every drawing that youve made of her.
prison gf! ymir…who will be all over you if you wear a skin revealing/ clinging outfit. no matter if you rarely wear stuff like that or most of the time. this is the main reason why you guys are late to parties sometimes. homegirl is struggling with her self control. most of the time she does a good job others? *evil laughter*.
prison gf! ymir…who loves spoiling you and got you a custom necklace that says your name and a pandora bracelet for your birthday. then got you a chrome hearts necklace for valentines day.
prison gf! ymir…who picks up everything you put down in the store and doesn't care about the price. if you worried about spending her money she’ll tell you it’s fine cause “your worth going broke for ma” with a kiss to seal the deal
prison gf! ymir…who will buy you anything the moment your eyes start tearing up and that little pout comes out. Then she will kiss that little pout away no matter how many it takes.
prison gf! ymir…who buys a strap in your favourtie color.
prison gf! ymir…who would apologize if you tell her its to much and then immediately slams her hips afterwards.

Happy birthday! Can we get some birthday trivia about you on your birthday?
Sure. I turn 56 today, so here’s fifty-six things you may or may not know about me.
1) I never lost a baby tooth. Every one had to be extracted.
2) I was once a contestant on Trivial Pursuit: The Game Show with Wink Martindale. I answered the most questions correct, but didn’t win.
3) I once had scarlet fever (the thing the boy gets in the Velveteen Rabbit).
4) I’ve been told by doctors I have very weird blood.
5) I self taught myself to juggle.
6) I was a magician when I was a kid with the stage name The Wiz Kid. I mostly performed for kids parties.
7) I was once a freelance greeting card writer. My favorite (that didn’t get printed) showed a jug of maple syrup tipped on its side making a puddle of syrup. In the syrup was a top hat. A hand is pulling a can of green paint with a shamrock out of the hat. You open up the card and it says Sappy Paint Hat Tricks Day. It’s a triple Spoonerism.
8) Sara Gilbert (of “Roseanne” fame) and I once went out for lunch. (It wasn’t a date or anything.)
9) I broke my collarbone doing a prat fall off a stage.
10) I once pet a cheetah. In South Africa. My face from the picture of me doing that was used as my “Making Magic” photo for years.
11) I once made a root beer float for Keanu Reeves. It was at a play I was volunteering for.
12) I once get trapped inside Fred Astaire’s Estate. This factoid is oddly on my Wikipedia page.
13) Starting during the pandemic, my family began fostering animals. So far, we fostered four dogs, six cats, and two Guinea pigs.
14) In college, I wrote and directed two plays, started an improvisation troupe, and a writing workshop.
15) I still have all my wisdom teeth.
16) I have visited every continent except Antarctica for Magic.
17) I once asked Clint Eastwood for directions, not realizing who it was until he started talking. I was lost on the Warner Brothers lot.
18) My first job in Hollywood resulted from me taking part in someone else’s interview. I snuck on the lot, and ended walking into a room where they asked “Are you here for the production assistant interview?”, and I said, “Yes.”
19) I once had a disease the doctors couldn’t identify. They called it Mark’s Disease.
20) I was born in Mississippi. My dad was in the Air Force at the time.
21) I asked out seven woman to my senior prom who all turned me down. I ended up going with a friend who also couldn’t get a date.
22) I took six years of Spanish.
23) Most of my family’s vacations growing up were ski vacations, so I’m a decent skier.
24) I once delivered a pizza to Richard Gere. It was as a production assistant, not a pizza delivery person.
25) I once broke into an actor’s apartment building to deliver a script. It was so late, they were asleep and didn’t hear the buzzing of the door bell.
26) I once drove six hours (three in each direction) to pick up one five-stick package of Blackjack gum as a runner (production assistant).
27) Dennis Miller once thought I was a crazy man. I was sent to get him from the parking lot for a shoot and he thought I was stalking him.
28) I have over two hundred tee-shirts. They are organized by color.
29) I was supposed to pitch to “The Simpsons”, but it got cancelled when I got hired in the “Roseanne” staff.
30) I pitched multiple times to “Star Trek: The Next Generation”, but never sold a script. The closest I got was a pitch about Data malfunctioning.
31) I once ate crocodile. In Australia.
32) I played the Tinman in fifth grade in a production of “The Wizard of the Oz”. I was so hot, my silver make-up had to be reapplied halfway through as I sweated it off.
33) My mother turned down being on “Oprah” to come to my college graduation.
34) My parents are both retired. My dad was a dentist and my mom a psychologist. I used to joke I had a “paradox”.
35) Every birthday since I was 9, I’ve celebrated my birthday with crab legs.
36) Since I was in grade school, every Valentine’s Day, I hand out candy hearts, and every Halloween, I hand out mellowcreme pumpkins (basically pumpkin shaped candy corns).
37) My tee-shirts every week are themed. Some themes are pretty obvious, but they often get tricky. R&D likes figuring out the theme.
38) I got a BS in Communications (no, really) from Boston University’s College of Communications.
39) I collect superhero Minimates (they look Lego-ish). I have somewhere around two thousand. They are displayed in a number of cabinets built by my dad.
40) My podcast was inspired by a talk by Kevin Smith (at San Diego Comic-Con) where he said anyone could make a podcast.
41) I have attended over twenty-five San Diego Comic-Cons.
42) I am related to Lorne Green of “Bonanza” fame.
43) My dad’s family came from Germany and my mom’s from Russia. In Germany, my family’s name was Rosenvasser, but it was changed to Rosewater when they came to the U.S.
44) There are so few Rosewaters in the United States, that if you meet a Rosewater odds are I’m related to them.
45) I have lived in five states (Mississippi, Ohio, Massachusetts, California, and Washington, in that order).
46) I have visited over thirty states for Magic.
47) I once met Jim Henson when I worked on a clip show that Kermit was on. The question I asked him was if Ernie and Bert were named after the characters from “It’s a Wonderful Life”. He said not consciously. Jim Henson is one of my idols and I feel so blessed to have met him. He died a few months later.
48) I met Stan Lee at Hascon. He is another of my idols that I feel so lucky to have met.
49) On “Roseanne”, I worked with Amy Sherman-Palladino (just Amy Sherman back then) and Chuck Lorre. She made “Gilmore Girls” and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”. He made “Big Bang Theory” and “Two and a Half Men”. Amy was super sweet and we got along well. I don’t think Chuck liked me.
50) I am a super picky eater. For example, except for apples, I don’t eat fruit. I hate bananas with a passion.
51) I have been a game player since very young. My dad loves games and introduced them to me early in life.
52) I get the writing bug from my mom.
53) I used to collect lint in a giant jar. When I got married, Lora made me get rid of it. It was an impressive amount of lint.
54) I have a bad tendency to burn myself a lot. My family loves to make fun of it.
55) I own over fifty flannels. My favorites are from Japan because they are more colorful with their flannels. Normally I wear a large, but in Japanese sizes, I’m an extra large.
56) My favorite number is 254. I chose it when I was little.

From Poultry DVM
"Suprelorin is a sustained release subcutaneous implant that releases slow doses of deslorelin acetate to suppress the hen's reproductive endocrine system by preventing the production of pituitary hormones. It temporarily stops hens from laying eggs.
.
Stopping egg laying helps in the prevention and treatment of the following reproductive diseases in hens:
.
👉 Cloacal prolapse
👉 Egg binding
👉 Egg yolk peritonitis
👉 Fatty liver disease
👉 Ovarian cancer
👉 Ovarian cysts
👉 Oviduct impaction
👉 Salpingitis
.
The product was originally created in Australia for use in dogs and has been available in Australia and New Zealand since 2007 and the European Union since 2008.
.
In the USA, this product is sold only for use in ferrets for treatment of Adrenal disease. It is used off-label in birds and illegal in chickens, ducks and other poultry since the FDA considers them "food animals"
.
The implant comes pre-loaded in an insertion device and administered while the bird is sedated or under anesthesia. The duration of effectiveness ranges from 4 to 6 months depending on the size of the implant (4.7 mg or 9.4 mg) and the particular bird."
Tumblr media
(Yes it is illegal to use this implant in a food animal. If it's a pet chicken a lot of vets will prescribe it to your bird anyway. This is because you don't want to use hormones with potentially food producing animals despite the implant stopping egg laying.)
My leghorns have used these for years and it definitely lengthened their lifespan. Unfortunately they can stop functioning with chronic use but it can still save your birds life or lengthen their lifespan for a few years.

15 people, 15 questions
I got tagged by @telomeke (the link to their post is here). Thanks for the tag! 😊
1. Are you named after anyone?
I came from a predominantly Catholic country so it is common to name babies after saints. Ironically, despite my saintly name, I was a real Tasmanian devil to my parents, teachers, and peers 😅
2. When was the last time you cried?
The last time that I sincerely cried was when my Dad passed away. I was eleven. After that, every event that made me "cry" barely wet my eyes 😅
3. Do you have kids?
No, and I don't plan to have any. I like kids - especially when I can hand them back to their respective mothers 😅 I don't have anything against motherhood, but I can barely support myself. Under the circumstances, it is not wise to bring another life into this world that I cannot support.
4. What sports do you play/have you played?
Oh boy. I used to do track and field, basketball, and soccer (football) when I was still in elementary (grade) school. However, my conservative home country deems these sports as too "manly" and therefore not appropriate for a growing 'lady'. So, they made me switch to cheer dance😤. Well, let's just say I have never danced again ever since lol.
5. Do you use sarcasm?
Let's just say that sometimes, using sarcasm is the only way to retain my sanity 😅
6. What’s the first thing you notice about people?
The tone and shift of voice when they talk. Not entirely sure why though 😅😅😅
7. What’s your eye color?
Hazel brown with hints of darkest grey.
8. Scary movies or happy endings?
Definitely happy endings. I will not subject myself to torture by watching horror films/series no matter how critically acclaimed it is. That's because I have a very vivid imagination and I really love a peaceful sleep 🥲
9. Any talents?
Does mixing chemicals and formulating new adhesive products count? 😅 I can play the keyboard, and write poems and short stories (although, it's been a long time since I wrote my last one). I also do embroidery during my spare time.
10. Where were you born?
Funny story. I was born on the eve of our town's patron saint's day. Before the feast day, the town's roads are closed in preparation for the upcoming festivities. Unfortunately, my mum's water broke during an intense cleaning session of our house on the eve of the feast. Since the roads were closed, my father and grandma (my mother's mum) were forced to call a midwife and perform a home birth. Curiously, I did not cry as my mum pushed my small baby form out of her womb. Fearing that I was a stillbirth, the midwife had put me near an electric stove to help warm me up. It was only then that poor baby me started to cry (to the relief of everyone around)😅
TLDR: I was born at home but only showed a definitive sign of life in our old family kitchen.
11. What are your hobbies?
Reading books, scrolling through various socmed (Nowadays, though, it's mostly Tumblr and Reddit), and listening to some brand new music.
12. Do you have any pets?
When I was still living in my home country, I used to have dogs. However, moving to Australia, I was forced to leave them behind with our trusted relatives. We still Facetime though, so there's that.
13. How tall are you?
Sadly, I'm five feet flat, I am still hoping for some (miracle) growth spurt even in my thirties lol
14. Favorite subject in school?
I love history. I love reading about the beginning of things. I also had high grades in literature simply because I am an advanced reader (that is, I have already read the books on my teacher's list even before they have released them to the class).
15. Dream job
Somewhere where deadlines are a mere suggestion lol
Onward tagging (I know some of you have already done this, but give this poor hungry bear a break, I'm running out of people to tag: @lost-my-sanity1, @sparklyeyedhimbo, @imlivingformyselfdontmindme, @waitmyturtles, @dimplesandfierceeyes, @plantsarepeopletoo, @actually-yikes, @dribs-and-drabbles, @ablazenqueen, @alan-apologist, @ellasaru12, @queersouthasian, @lamonnaie, @rei-the-head-shaker and anybody else who wants to play😊

William Arnott  founder of the Arnott’s Biscuits company was born on December 6th 1827 in Pathhead.
One for our Antipodean branch of the Scottish diaspora, or at least the Australian branch.
As happens quite often there are differing details with William Arnott, namely his place of birth, one version gives it as Pathhead, Midlothian, which I know fairly well, another tells me it was Pathhead near Kirkcaldy in Fife, which had me googling away like mad as, not being a Fifer I had was not aware of the latter, all I could find was Pathhead Sands though, but I am not discounting him being born there.
There’s nothing about his formative years, his parents David and Isabella migrated with his younger siblings in the 1840s, possibly as part of an assisted migration scheme. we pick up the story of William Arnott  in October 1847 he and his brother David set out for Sydney, Australia on board the assisted-immigrants' ship Sir Edward Parry; they reached Sydney some 135 days later, on 17th February 1848.
Having apprenticed as baker quickly got a job with his brother at a Maitland bakery. William left in 1851, to work the goldfields.
In 1853 he returned to Maitland to start his own bakery after failing as a gold miner. He was successful as a baker until affected by a succession of floods in 1856, 1857 and 1861. Having gotten into debt from the flood damage, he moved to Newcastle in 1865. In the next few years, he became known for his biscuits.  By the time he retired 1899, he employed over 800 people in his Newcastle and Sydney factories. His company soon became a well-known, home-grown Australian brand.
The reputation of his biscuits reached further afield and from 1882 he began sending boatloads to Sydney. Arnott paid off all the debts incurred in the 1860s and in 1883, his creditors held a luncheon in his honour — and integrity — presenting him with a gold medal.
In 1888 Arnott created a biscuit using arrowroot flour, something he had learned was a staple for sailors. The Milk Arrowroot biscuit became a favourite with the public and was marketed as a way of introducing babies to solid foods.
After a trip to Scotland in 1870, Arnott was gifted a Macaw by the ship’s captain. The bird developed a taste for Arnott’s biscuits, and became a cherished pe the pet still features as the company logot. Arnott made a visit to Scotland in 1893 and when he returned in 1894 he bought a factory at Forest Lodge in Sydney, and made his sons partners in the business.
As the demand for his products grew, Arnott planned to move the company headquarters to Homebush. When he retired in 1899 Arnotts employed over 800 people in his Newcastle and Sydney factories.William Arnott died aged 73 in 1901 before the plans could be realised. However, his 7 sons took over where their father left off.
In 1906 work began on what would become the largest biscuit factory in the southern hemisphere at Homebush, which, at the time, lived up to its name being surrounded by bush. Detractors thought it was too far out of Sydney to be practical, but in 1908 Arnott’s dream factory opened and the town of Homebush grew up around it.
Arnotts are most famous for their biscuit, the Tim Tam  the story behind it is in 1958, Ian Norris, head of Food Technology at Arnott’s went on a worldwide fact finding trip, looking for new product ideas for the company.
While in the UK he came across the ‘Penguin’, a brand I am sure all us at home know.  Norris said in an interview that
‘I thought it was not a bad idea for a biscuit: so, we’ll make a better one. There is nothing wrong with coming up with a similar product.’
Norris brought the idea of the Penguin back to Australia, and set to work, experimenting with different biscuit textures, and cream flavours. But getting the mix right proved elusive. The new Australian version would be five years in development. Named after an American racehorse that one of the Arnott brothers sw winning the Kentucky Derby, they launched the Tim Tam and it was an immediate hit. It soon established itself as Arnott’s best-selling product, and has remained so through the subsequent decades.
The company now sells about 30 million packets of Tim Tams a year.
In 1997 the company became a subsidiary of the Campbell Soup Company, but Arnott’s still manufactures its biscuits in Australia.

Tagged by @kanonavi for 15 questions for 15 mutuals! Thanks >:)
~~
1 - Are you named after anyone?
No...
2 - When was the last time you cried?
Um. A few tears escaping while I hack my lungs out doesn't count, does it? Haha...
I honestly don't remember, I don't really cry that often.
3 - Do you have kids?
Just my ocs :')
4 - Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Yeah, hyperbolic humour is one of my most common kinds of jokes, and that kinda needs sarcasm to work. That's not a bad thing tho
5 - What sports do you play/have played?
.... Wii Sports.
Lmao. Fr, I don't really play sports, never been good at them, hated the environment/culture within pretty much every sports space I've interacted with, and don't care about them to be quite honest. I did ballet when I was younger and had a blast with that, and I enjoy swimming, but definitely not competitively.
6 - What's the first thing you notice about people?
Usually their voice/way of speaking or their vibe/presence, mainly from demeanor and outfit and such...
7 - Eye colour?
Tumblr media
8 - Scary movies or happy endings?
Both? Whatever feels most appropriate for the narrative. I enjoy scary stuff (mainly on the psychological thriller side) and I enjoy happy endings (across most genres)
This doesn't really feel like an evenly balanced either or to me haha
9 - Any special talents?
Professional complainer™ 😎👍
Fr tho, things I've worked hard at, such as my writing or art skills, even video editing and such. I like being creative (and I like being critical LMAO)
10 - Where were you born?
The capital city in one of the states of Australia
11 - What are your hobbies?
Gaming, art, writing, reading, thinking too much about things. Most things creative + gaming.
12 - Do you have any pets?
No, but I am looking after my dad's cats long term for a bit
Tumblr media
13 - How tall are you?
170cm
14 - Favourite subject in school?
Japanese or Studio Arts. Multimedia was mostly good too, and philosophy had it's moments.
15 - Dream job?
Something that can utilise my skills in video/film production without being detrimental to my health or creativity. Also unionised.
That's the vague dream job for now, I got a Bachelor in film and video, I wanna put those skills to use and be a director/writer/AD/editor/whatever... But thinking more long term and in huge hypotheticals, it might be really nice to start my own company and help produce more Aussie entertainment in the future :)

Tagging @cherrymegablaster @future-dregs @woogly-boogly and whoever else would like to. Can't be assed thinking of 15 haha
