owner of several bunnyboys/girls and one puppyboy/girl. they’re all very well trained, so the owner gives them some stern directions and trusts that they’ll behave while the owner is off on a short trip.

when the owner comes back, none of the bunnies are to be found, and the puppy has gotten significantly pudgier, with a dumb, happy grin on their face…

A small post for @waterdeeply and anyone else who is interested in my new fish. Fish content is under the cut :)

So, after about 3 weeks of setting up a simple, planted 40 litre tank I finally got a fish a few weeks ago! His name is Fingon (anyone who knows that reference also now knows another one of my nerdy interests) and he's amazing. Honestly such a fun and interesting little guy, I'm so glad he's my first fish friend. Here's a few pictures of him on the day I got him.

This bitch isn't happy if she doesn't find her way into the animal emergency room at least once per quarter. She's going to be perfectly fine; she simply needs to do one drama per stage of cancer recovery. 💅

Ollie went to the vet

Had to take the little man on a vet visit yesterday.

After a lot growling and hissing, a vet nurse brought in for assistance, 3 people AND a table covered in blood...

... They had managed to draw 1 tiny vial of blood for some tests 😂 I don't even know how he managed to cover us in blood, it's not like he was bleeding a lot. It was just a prick!!

Clocked in at a solid 17,6 pounds and vet wants him to lose 2 - 3. Confirmed too chonk, which I expected, but not as bad as I feared.

Got home with one supremely pissed off cat who gave me the cold shoulder quite aggressively for two hours.

Today he is happy again and absolutely obsessed with his new hypoallergenic kibble. Its not necessary with this brand but since he's so sensitive to food changes I decided to switch him over gradually and gave him half old brand/half new brand.

Well I'm not gonna bother anymore because he picked out ALL of the new brand kibble, almost every piece, and ate that first. And left the old kibble.
