My taxi driver had three dogs and a duck at the back seat. They were all the size of a large rat and one of the dogs was a white puppy that could talk. It told me not to lift it up by the belly and the driver said I should just hold onto its back and flip it around.

Speaking of odd taxi actually, I really love how it does the whole anthropomorphic animal world thing- everyone is familiar with similar stories, especially from childhood, where you're not really meant to question the fact that some animals are People while others are just Animals. You're not really meant to dwell on the fact that there's pets, the fact that people eat meat, and the fact that the society they live in doesn't really have special animal accommodations. Everything is the same as the human world, the animal part is aesthetic. There are darker subversions to this trope, like Beastars which brings these questions to the forefront, but that's NOT what odd taxi is. You're not meant to think about it, and take it at face value. The show is BANKING on the fact that you're used to overlooking these questions from previous media, in order to properly foreshadow its twist. You can pick up on it, but it can still absolutely surprise you in a way that makes TOTAL sense in retrospect.

Idk but I'm still super stressed with the whole Sammy situation? Earlier he squeaked a couple time for some reason when I picked up the carrier he goes into when we go potty. So I sat it down again carefully and he walked out, with some smaller squeaks. I'm guessing that was either hair pulling somewhere and/ or maybe something pulling at the stitches, but I can't be sure. Then he seems to react more strongly when I'm closing the right side of his suit, probably for the same reason. And he looked about to crouch down to poop earlier, but then didn't. And once upstairs in his pen again he seemed reluctant to sit down.

But he also screams for food, yells at people coming in or at Bats playing (god forbid HE dares to play) and does the smoosh-head-and-back-into-human thing and doesn't seem uncomfortable to lie down to sleep.

I really try to calm my frayed nerves, but the panic resurfaces so easily. If things aren't 100% as they should I need to play calming music at night so my mind has something to listen to that is NOT Sammy's every move and every sound he makes. I legit get adrenaline rushes at each little sound I hear and often when he gets up, too. I have so much trouble even going to sleep because I'm afraid what could happen.

Is this ridiculous panic even normal? Does it happen to other people too if their pets are in recovery or am I just stressed out beyond all measure? It doesn't feel particularly healthy 😨🙈

Part of it definitely is that there's no emergency vets available at night, except for a clinic that is an hour away. But there's no one here that could drive us at night so I'd need to go by taxi and that's ridiculously expensive (around 300-350€ if the internet is to be trusted). Not to mention how taxing it would be for my body to go on such an adventure, plus lack of even more sleep and all that. Idk I'm so ready for all this to be over, I don't know for how much longer I can stand this. I'm so tired and exhausted, I just want a good night's sleep and some peace of mind again 🥲

Person A’s pet got out and got lost and Person A’s only wish for New Years is for their pet to come back home to them safely. And after getting drunk at a bar, they call a taxi/driver service to get a ride home and end up talking to their driver, Person B, about their lost pet, and Person B mentions how someone they know found a lost pet. The two exchange numbers and Person B sends them a picture of the pet their friend found and it’s Person A’s lost pet.
