We worked with The Heartbreakers , his group with The Mc5’s #waynekramer in Gang War and Johnny solo. Johnny was such a great tragic artist who died way too young. Heroin ripped the life from so many talented artist. My fave Thunders show was a late one after we produced the 1st Jesus and Mary Chain show in Detroit, we had the wild red head of Creation #alanmcgee at Detroit’s Asylum. This album - feels like a bridge between The UK’s punk scene meets NYC’s Scene - and as only this former New York Doll could make this happen! 良いものは良い。 度々このブログで触れて来たが、良いものは何がどうあれ魅力的。 Lyraは怖いもの知らずとかそんな大それた者ではない。ただ好奇心が旺盛で、楽しいかどうか、相手が自分を愛してくれるかどうか、喜ばしてくれるか否かだけで判断している。 だから相手が大統領だろうと幼稚園に通う子だろうと接し方は変わらない。まあ数年前までは、分かり合えない人とは話し合えば分かり合えると信じて来たが、それは理想であり幻想。実際には、相手が経験値が高く人への思い話やりがあり受け入れるキャパが広いタイプじゃない限り無理。いくら話し合っても無理(何故かは話が長くなるから割愛させて頂きます)。 逆に分かり合える人とは秒で通じあう。下手すると目があった瞬間7秒の世界よ。 良い音楽もそう。一瞬でFallin’LOVEよ。 強烈なる個性。それがあるものが好き。 そして個人的には。詰め込みすぎていないストレートなサウ…

PETER PERRETT: HOW THE WEST WAS WON - ALBUM

One of my photos of Jenny Maxwell (below) plays a small part in Peter Perretts solo album ‘How The West Was Won on the gatetfold inside sleeve. It’s a great album from one of the most underrated artists of the late 1970′s, when he was the frontman for The Only Ones, the band were famous for the song ‘Another Girl, Another Planet’. Now Peter plays and tours with his two sons and his son’s partner Jenny. You can spot my credit on the photo furthest below, although it says band photo, it is actually only Jenny shot at The Ruby Lounge in Manchester.
