I’ve given the Afterthoughts (Falcon, Samus and Fox) romantic partners (Robert, Madeline and Falco) and identified their “shadow archetypes” or similar (Blood Falcon, Dark Samus and Wolf) but I haven’t until now assigned Robert, Madeline and Falco main rivals so here they are: Robert has Pico because of the Great Accident, Madeline has Melissa and Falco canonically has a rivalry with Leon (so once again, the F-Zero and Star Fox characters are male and the Metroid character is female). I know I said my assigning starters to a trio of an F-Zero character, a Metroid character and a Star Fox character series was done but fuck it, we’re doing it for Pico, Melissa (even though she’s dead) and Leon

Kanto:

Pico gets Blastoise

Leon gets Charizard (a Leon with a Charizard, where have I heard that before? *insert me being smug about SV now selling more than SwSh even though I think SwSh is great too*)

Melissa is left with Venusaur

Johto (watch as I try to balance both the Hisui trio and the Z-A trio so guess who’s getting Emboar):

Melissa gets Meganium (based on vibes)

Pico gets Feraligatr (because that’s who I gave him in the Z-A tier list meme)

Leon is somehow left with Typhlosion

Hoenn:

Leon gets Sceptile

I just want Melissa to get Blaziken for some reason

Pico, who I swear I’m not entirely intentionally giving the Water-type each time, gets Swampert

Sinnoh:

Fuck it, Melissa gets Empoleon for the variation (so I’m not constantly giving Pico the Water starter)

Pico gets Torterra, who admittedly even if I hadn’t have given Empoleon to Melissa instantly I probably would have paired up

Leon is left with Infernape (I swear I keep giving my two least favourite starter lines to the Metroid group so at least there’s some variation here)

Unova:

Wow who would have guessed Leon gets Emboar

Melissa gets Serperior

Pico is left with Samurott

Kalos:

Pico and Greninja. It made sense to me a few days ago

Melissa gets Chesnaught because I guess that’s another starter I really enjoy giving to the Metroid characters when I assign starters

Leon has Delphox for some reason. I don’t see the logic here either

Alola:

Melissa’s getting all the birds now because I don’t have anyone to just randomly give all the bird starters because of their bird themes this time so she gets Decidueye

Pico and Incineroar. Because big muscles (actually it’s because I don’t want to exclusively give him Water-types just because he’s got a turtle shell on his back. Pico doesn’t have the muscular build F-Zero racers are known for)

Leon is left with Primarina

Galar (strangely one of the easier ones):

Leon has Inteleon. He has now passed the scaly exam

Melissa gets Cinderace. Idk why maybe vibes

Pico gets Rillaboom

Paldea:

Leon passed the scaly exam and is now one of the three Skeledirge fans who likes furries I made the joke about giving my least favourite starters to the Metroid characters with the expectation of pairing Melissa up with Skeledirge

Pico and Quaquaval wait, I made the bird joke with the expectation of pairing Melissa up with Quaquaval

Melissa and Meowscarada. I think this makes sense apparently I also think she’d make sense with literally any other Paldea starter. Good to know there are people who love furries like Meowscarada and Quaquaval who don’t dislike the dirge

Bonuses: Legends trios

Hisui:

I accidentally forgot to consider needing to distribute Typhlosion, Samurott and Decidueye evenly among them but still managed to do it so Leon gets Typhlosion, Pico gets Samurott and Melissa gets Decidueye

Z-A/Lumiose City:

Same as Johto (Melissa and Meganium, Pico and Feraligatr) but Leon gets Emboar

Incorrect F-Zero Quotes- Season: 2- 03: Black Shadow shows-off his "French Ship"

On the F-ZERO TV stage, Black Shadow makes an announcement in front of the viewers, his rivals, his henchmen, and his fans.

Black Shadow: And now, feast your eyes on the most amazing display you'll see all evening. Hit it, Zoda.

Zoda pulled up the rope opened the curtains and reviled a ship.

Black Shadow: Ta-da!

All the pilots stared at the ship. Mr. Zero walks up to Black Shadow.

Mr. Zero: Black Shadow, what does have to do with tonight's event?

Black Shadow: French Ship! It's a French Ship. Can't you read? While all of you are busy dancing and showing sissy flowers. I was building the real thing here! An exact replica of a 1914 French Warship. Yeah! And it comes with usable cannons. Show 'em, Deck Hand! *Blows whistle*

Blood Falcon: Qui, Qui, Capitaine!

Blood Falcon shoots the cannon balls and one of them landed straight to Capt. Falcon, Dr. Stewart, Pico, and Samurai Goroh damaged their seat in half.

Mr. Zero: Uh, Black Shadow it's not "French Ship" it's "Friendship".

Black Shadow: *Rubbing the back of his head * "Friend"? "Friend". "friend". Oh, "Friend"! Right, of course! Use it in a sentence.

Mr. Zero: Black Shadow, this is rather awkward but. *touches Black Shadow's shoulder* Do you know what "friend" is?

Black Shadow: *Smacks Mr. Zero's hand* Don't be silly! "Friend". As in a big medieval monster that devours villages?

Then one of the pilots calls out on Black Shadow's dumb views.

Dr. Stewart: *Laughs* That's a "fiend"!

The pilots and the fans started laughing at him.

Jody: We tell you. But that's what dictionaries are for. *continues to laugh*

Pico: It's so ridiculous.

Black Shadow is embarrassed.
