Hmmm what if the rubilax arm doesn't make tristepin "magically abled again", and tristepin at one point trains to swordfight without it because even if in his own words he isn't as good at swordfighting without it he still wants to defend himself against strong enemies if say he lost rubilax.

Maybe armless isn't as swift with the sword as he was before when he had 2 arms but he still manages to improve his abilities from season 3 in his way and his disability is more aknowledged.

Maybe he gets phantom pains ..

The rest of the brotherhood, even rubi are very supportive and try to accomodate their friend as best as possible and think he's cool as shit, especially his kids.

Maybe Ruel has some extra kinship cause as we've seen in some episodes his shovel/staff aids his moving so as an older disabled guy he gives advice to the younger one even if their disability isn't the same..

it's verse / thread dependent whether gale absorbs the shadow weave from the thorms or not. if he does, it's not a power hungry act; he believes his end might be near and the continuous presence of the shadow curse has been eating at his mental well - being to the point that he thinks he should take any advantage he can get to ensure the party survives until they reach the heart of the absolute.

he feels tainted by the shadow weave, but even still he will make use of it in the event he does absorb it.

it also doesn't leave him — akin to a chronic injury, he's going to suffer from it for the rest of his life.

A very self-indulgent weretiger AU post because I'm allowed to.

🐯 Impacted by the full moon but not forced into a full shift. He just gets more aggro than usual, more avoidant, more prickly. Extreme emotion also influences partial shifts like teeth or eyes or claws.

🐯 His scars remain and the backstory remains the same except the one who disfigured him happened to also be a shifter.

🐯 The mask and glasses double for hiding his scars and protecting his identity and also hiding suspicious shit caused by near or half shifts.

🐯 The glasses also help to hide that cat thing his eyes do in the dark and with reflecting light.

🐯 Horangi is so on the nose name wise and he kind of likes it like that. Easier to hide in plain sight.

🐯 Probably vanishes sometimes out into the nearby woods or wherever he can on the KorTac base to shift fully and zoom around.

🐯 Way more into raw meat in this verse like big carno vibes.

rambles under the cut:

SO what i sorta wanted to do was make. each parker flow into the next while subtly changing in between ,,, something something losing yourself to the game, becoming unrecognizable. so let's cover it parker by parker:

prime: i personally Love the hc that the coin is parker's mom. so prime is a lil ancient roman coded guy. he's SOOOO eldest sibling coded help. like he and his mom have a very strained relationship but also he thinks that if he just does whatever she wants she'll finally be proud of him :P whoops! and yeah v explosive anger (firewalker reference!), leading to ego, leading to. You Know. anyway. oh ALSO the parkers get younger as we progress so :))) they all STARTED at 19 but have varying degrees of age. so prime is in his mid-thirties.

parker ii: AH the most elusive of the parkers. SO: in my personal lore interp, parker ii was created when prime starting to push back against the coin more and more to the point where it was becoming a problem. and prime of course is very destructive and makes a mess when he's angry. so ii came about from me going "...what if parker just. said fuck it and left. didn't give a shit about ego just didn't wanna play the game anymore and found a way out." and that's exactly what my ii did. absolutely fucking vanished and quit the game for good. somehow. which uhhh MIGHT have been what caused prime to go apeshit ("why does ii get to leave and i'm stuck here?") and end prehistory. whoops. so i wanted to make them look very vagabond-y. somehow got even edgier than prime (impressive). also they're abt 30-ish. and have crazy gender stuff going on. possibly transfem. "but how is that possible if you hc the parkers as transmasc-" shhh. i don't know <3

park3r: GOD i loved doing this one. this parker is such a bitch and i love him. the first commissioner parker, created bc "OKAY so we gotta make him more young and impressionable and less unstable AND take him out of this game bc very clearly Bad Things will happen if he stays" so they made. a chronically online teenager and made them commissioner AMDNFM. god yeah i love this design he's sooo. just a 19-year-old trying to fill an impossible role and putting on a cool face about it. tragic, yes. but they're gonna complain the whole time and make everyone else miserable too. fully believe he was just scared and out of his depth the whole trial :( oops why are parkers iii and iiii so sad. i drew him closer to mid-20s here but honestly he could easily be younger

p4rker: LOVE this guy's lore so my hc is that after the trial that killed park3r it was like "uhhhh FUCK we need a new one of those. stat." so. they just. took park3r's incin'd body (ik it's not really Canon that park3r was incin'd he just Died but. let me have this) and like. stitched it back together. so p4rker is covered in burns and stitched together like frankenstein all over, and they just threw a mask on them like "see!!! new guy!!" the result of this being they didn't have. a whole ton of time to add shit like Personality, so p4rker is the outlier in that they're very naive and even polite? they don't understand what all the fuss is about them and just wants to be. nice? shame he didn't stick around long :/ the drippy bits are a little percolation nod! in this particular drawing he's like 20 :(

pvrker is. obviously the least human. park3r was more of a prototype of a commissioner, p4rker was a temporary placeholder at best, pvrker... was well and truly made For The Game. and his appearance reflects that. kinda a combination of iii's bluntness and 4's naivety. in-universe some people think he's the most sinister or whatever bc he's so directly Controlled By ILB Shit and that's not NOT true but like. give him a break guys he's like 6 days old he's new at this :(

I don't like aknowledging pinpan's relation to god iop that much because I mean just look at it (it being iop's situation) nor I believe they are that similar in personality or appearance, to me Iop's soul was basically a blank canvas for the mortal lives that came after him, ending with pinpan.

That being said, remember when iop was shown having his left index finger broken by a very strong baby goultard, in a wakfu flashback? I headcanon that the finger ended up basically arthritic. And while he could've possibly gotten that properly healed he never did:

He'd tell you it was because of some blabbery about the pride of a warrior being in their wounds, or something about baby gougou being THAT strong as a demigod, enough to leave a dent into a god...

However, it was because he wanted that injured creaky finger to serve as a memento of his son. I don't think he has other mementos from a child, but because goultard breaking his finger was THAT much of unprompted and silly to him (similar to how we could say a big part why eca got a big soft spot for keke was because of his little strich/truche quest/chase cheating).

Maybe he actually used his god powers to ensure that, whenever he reincarnated, even if he changed, his soul always kept the broken finger memento. Maybe it was an accident, his emotion being so deep and strong, a positive feeling by iop for at least once.

Maybe future lives, who also had that finger quirk, and were unaware of it (assuming only pinpan got to knew of his godly origins), would've liked mementos of their families too, to carry across reincarnations.. But they didn't have the flaming stubborn soul of a god. Because while it had been, before them, now was fully mortal...

So of course, pinpan has his left index finger a bit crooked and creaky since birth. That's just assumed to be an arthritis-of-some-sort. Of course he enjoys the sound it makes when it bends near his ears, the others think it's weird.

Once goultard realises his pupil's origins, is not like he notices this. Iop never told anyone, maybe he was too proud or too embarrassed by that.

It isn't til time after the plot happens goultard mentions how his mother told him he broke his dad's index as a baby, and pinpan points out how that is precisely his "a bit twisted looking" finger.

And they think about it...

And yes, if you've been paying attention, you might've realised we were lucky enough to have the finger be on the left hand, so the memento still stays even after pinpan's right arm gets replaced. :)

        I’ve put a summary of Ji Heng’s main modern verse on her verses page, however I’ll expand upon it here.

        As a young child, Ji Heng’s stepfather had been into sketchy things and had eventually learned that she was a product of an affair her mom had with a man from the army by the name of Meng Hao after she had ran away once with her son Xu Yang. After learning this, Ji Heng’s stepfather committed the horrible act of double homicide and then killed himself. 

        For a time Ji Heng and Xu Yang had been taken in by an uncle until Xu Yang became old enough and secure to take his sister to live with him. And when he couldn’t be home for whatever reason, he hired a girl from a nearby high school by the name of Minsu to babysit her. And as time passed, Ji Heng developed a crush on Minsu. She wasn’t the only one either, as Xu Yang also developed feelings as Minsu started university and continued to hang around the house. 

        A little bit angry and a little bit dejected, Ji Heng accepted things when those two began dating. She began to focus on her studies more than before, excelling in piano lessons, history, and liberal arts. In university, Ji Heng continued to stick with humanities and eventually got an internship at a museum, where she later ended up with a job once graduating.
