My Top Four Fox Based Worlds For Kingdom Hearts
This list Is based off of Fox properties that I think should be in Kingdom Hearts. Remember these can technically happen since Disney owns Fox.
Spoilers Ahead.
# 4 Raising Hope/Natesville
This is a world to show how even the littlest of towns can contribute to the upcoming Keyblade War. I love to shop at Howdys or a boss fight with Lucy. For a story, I would pick one of the wedding episodes, that or an original story taking place after the series.
Partners: probably none, though though if it had to be somebody it had to be at least one of the Chances or a family friend.
Keyblade: "Here we go (Oh Oh Oh)" (turns into a baby rattle and mobile (with references to the show.))
Bosses: heartless reference of something from the show & Lucy.
(Note: it would not be a bad idea to incorporate a My Name Is Earl reference)
#3 Diary of a wimpy kid/Plainview...Kind of:
I'm not the first one to come up with this, I'll just say that.
My idea for this world is that instead of having is being based off of the movies actual events, If you want to take place within the journal of Greg Heffley.
Heartless are threatening to take over by making the events of the journal (which is from Greg's perspective) into a real version so that it can be prime real estate for a takeover.
I would really like to see a concept like this used for an actual world.
Partners: Greg(either the doodle version of him, or The real Greg acts like a fourth dimensional being and has influence using a pencil) and also Rowley (he is a gold belt in karate last time I checked).
Keyblade: Twisted Wizard™ Blade of Unlocking (transforms into a staff and then a pencil or pen based of The diary of a wimpy kid mythos).
Boss: Twisted Wizard strategy guide come to life, amalgamation of heartless in a form of all the things Greg fears, some third boss based of off heartless.
#2 Bobs Burgers/ Wonder Warf:
Bobs Burgers is my favorite show so of course I would like this to be a world in Kingdom Hearts
The main concept for this world is that what would happen if a world based on realistic fiction, the only forms of fantasy is what if and stories told by the characters, (the most unreal thing is a two-butted goat, and a sea monster and you could chalk it up to a mutation and some superstition.)
Imagine the city that Bobs Burgers takes place in (I only called her Wonder Wharf because it was a well-known name from the show) finding out that the supernatural exists.
I love to see the town adapt to that.
It would also be fun to see the Belchers and the unique story created for this game world.
Partners: If possible, all of the Belchers, but most likely just Bob and Louise.
Keyblade: Good for your heartless (turns into a spatula, and then a Bobs Burgers theme spatula themed spatula.
Bosses: A fake boss fight with either Hugo Jimmy Pesto or Mr Fisheoder, (you get arrested after you land the first hit), and and a boss fight consisting of a heartless based around a concept from the show, like a burger heartless.
# 1 Free Guy/Free City:
At the time of writing this, I just saw the movie Free Guy, and it was really great. I want A world based around the movie or the events after it.
Spoilers ahead
If it takes place during the movie, it should be during the montage of Guy doing good things and go from there.
If it takes place afterward, you can have it be that Antwane Is working with the Heartless to gain back the game so he can get back his money and the heartless can use it to spread misery from the NPCs
With the focus on its being a video game, you can do something along the lines of Tron from the first Kingdom Hearts game.
Partners: Guy, Molotov girl/Millie, and maybe Buddy (he didn't do much combatively but I will be willing to see a change in the script for him).
Keyblade: Free Blade (can transform into a blaster, and then a keyboard)
Bosses: Glitched Dude, Antwan in some shape or form, Reboot,Error, or deletion Heartless.
So that's pretty much about it. I hope one day we will have one of these worlds in Kingdom Hearts, and I hope that day is soon.
If you want to use these ideas in fanfics or in fan art, or want to build upon these ideas, make sure to credit me.
Good day

🦠SOLD!! our buddy @augbui has been eyeing this thing from the beginning when it was just a cardboard cut out. We’re glad it went to him and that really means a lot to us. Week In Review: New Songs / Music Videos You Need to Check Out (September 8-14, 2019)

A lot of new music is released over the course of any given week and this one was no exception. Over the last seven days we saw a wealth of new songs and music videos hit the web. This was especially true for rock and pop, as we got some great new tunes from the likes of Green Day, Weezer, the Backstreet Boys and more.
Vinyl Bay 777, Long Island’s music outlet, loves new music. That’s why we’ve once again searched the internet for the week’s best new songs and music videos. Here are six (and a few more) that we think are worth checking out this weekend.
1. Steve Aoki & Backstreet Boys, “Let It Be Me”: “Let It Be Me” is the perfect mix of the Backstreet Boys’ feel good pop and Steve Aoki’s beats and mixing. The song is seamless as both a dance track and a pop track. It’s upbeat and dance-worthy with a brightness meant to put a smile on your face. (video)
2. Louis Tomlinson, “Kill My Mind”: The rock inspiration in One Direction alum Louis Tomlinson’s latest single “Kill My Mind” is a delightful surprise on first listen. It’s got a big, upbeat pop-rock sound that makes you want to get up and jump around. This song will get stuck in your head whether you like it or not. (video)
3. Waterparks, “[Reboot]”: Waterparks’ latest single “[Reboot]” feels almost alien. Its pop-punk-meets-electronic-meets-hip-hop vibe is earcatching. Frontman Awsten Knight spits out lyrics at a pace and frequency during certain parts that would give Eminem a run for his money. The melody puts the electronics front and center, covering the heavy bass and drums in a thick filter of synths and computer effects. (video)
4. Art Alexakis, “The Hot Water Test”: When Everclear frontman Art Alexakis wants to get upfront about a subject that is exactly what he does. His new single, “The Hot Water Test,” from his upcoming debut solo album, ‘Sun Songs,’ was written about his Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis in the most blatant, wordy way possible. It’s hard not to come at this song expecting it to sound like Everclear. Alexakis does a good job at bridging the gap though. Lyrically, the song isn’t that different than something he would have written for the band. The change comes in the melody and instrumentation, which while not super out there, are a bit rawer. The guitar has more twang to it. It’s bluesier and less polished. Because it’s mainly guitar and vocal, it comes off as a bit more intimate. (video)
5. Weezer, “The End Of The Game”: Weezer has been on a creative bent lately, releasing three albums in the course of two years. This week they released, “The End Of The Game,” the first single to a fourth album, ‘Van Weezer,’ out next year. It’s a song heavy on the rock side, leading off with some Van Halen-inspired guitar riffs and holding strong with ‘Blue Album’-era guitars throughout. The melody sounds like a punched-up version of something from one of their more recent albums (the name of which is eluding me at the writing of this article). This song sounds promising for the upcoming album. (video)
6. Green Day, “Father Of All…”: “Father Of All…,” the new single from pop-punk legends Green Day, goes in a completely different direction than what the band has put out under their name before. The first thing you hear is frontman Billie Joe Armstrong’s falsetto-ish vocals taking over for his usual nasal tenor (he said in an interview that he was trying to channel Motown and Prince). Then you hear the chaotic instrumental and lyrics of the song, which have a sort of punk-meets-surf rock vibe. Despite just how different it is, the song is rather enjoyable. It’s upbeat, it has a good, fun energy… It’s perhaps what may have come if the Foxboro Hot Tubs released another album. (video)
Further Listening:
· The Who, “Ball And Chain”: (video)
· Kim Gordon, “Air BnB”: (video)
· Twin Peaks, “Oh Mama”: (video)
· MakeWar, “Oh, Brother”: (video)
· Charlie Puth, “Mother”: (video)
This week saw the release of a lot of great new rock and pop songs and music videos. Check out some of our favorites above and let us know what new tracks you’ve been digging this week in the comments below.

Welcome to Plainview!
Since the project formerly known as everplaythisgame has been rebooted as Plainview I figured it might be a good idea to make a new masterpost for Plainview specifically. This is not complete yet as everything hasn't been made for the project. I'm just trying to be a bit proactive about this so I don't get overwhelmed later lol
plainviewwelcomesyou
The main blog where most of the Plainview story takes place. If you were to just follow one thing for this story this blog would be it.
Plainview Official Carrd
A carrd made by Kaz that has details about Plainview written up as a town guide of sorts. If you're just getting into Plainview and want to know the basics this is the place to go.
Plainview Discord Server
A discord server full of fans of the Plainview project. Kaz is also there and often posts things there before they end up on the main blog. So, if you're a fan of Plainview it's a very fun place to be, but it's not necessary by any means.
campyvillain AKA Kaz
This is the main blog of the creator of Plainview. He posts a lot of other stuff, but he also posts stuff like art of the Plainview characters there sometimes. He might also answer asks there about Plainview like he used to do with eptg but idk he might handle that differently now lol. If you don't want to follow it for whatever reason this blog was made to collect everything from this blog about eptg and put it in one place, so if you just want the Plainview stuff and don't mind seeing it a little late sometimes then just follow me as I'll be doing the same for Plainview as well! Definitely not necessary to follow either of us though lol
#plainview#plainview welcomes you#plainviewwelcomesyou#plainview masterpost#pinned post#edit: added official carrd. which is funny to me because i was highly considering making one myself LOL

Six Album Covers by Famous Comic Book Artists

On Tuesday, Universal Music Enterprises announced a new deal with Marvel Entertainment that would bring back their Hip-Hop Variant program. The program puts Marvel characters into famous hip-hop album covers for special edition reissues. LL Cool J’s ‘Mama Said Knock You Out’ featuring artwork from Tim Bradstreet’s ‘Punisher #1,’ 50 Cent’s ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’ featuring artwork from Brian Stelfreeze’s ‘Invincible Iron Man #1’ and GZA’s ‘Liquid Swords’ featuring artwork from Denys Cowan’s ‘Contest of Champions #1’ are the first three albums to be getting the comic book treatment. Each album will be available as a double color vinyl Variant Collector’s Edition and a deluxe edition that also includes the original comic book and a 3D lenticular print of the cover limited to 3,000 copies each.
Comic book art has had a place on album covers for decades. And it hasn’t been for just hip-hop albums either. Hip-hop and rock artists have booth seen fit to go for a more animated style when it came to packaging their creative visions. And some of them have even commissioned work from some of the most important comic artists in the field.
Vinyl Bay 777, Long Island’s music outlet, is taking a look at some music’s most iconic album covers drawn by some of comics’ most iconic artists. Here are six covers with some serious talent behind them.
1. Big Brother and the Holding Company, ‘Cheap Thrills’: Big Brother and the Holding Company’s ‘Cheap Thrills’ has one of the most recognizable album covers of the 1960s. It was drawn by underground artist and noted music lover R. Crumb (known best for his controversial character Fritz the Cat) at Janis Joplin’s request. In an interview with the album’s art director John Berg, it was said that Crumb did not want to be paid for the work because he didn’t want “Columbia’s filthy lucre.”
2. GZA, “Liquid Swords”: For his second solo album, Wu-Tang’s GZA enlisted the drawing prowess of fellow New Yorker Denys Cowan for its cover art and videos. By the time of the album’s release in 1995, Cowan had already made a name for himself in both comics and music, having drawn for both DC and Marvel, as well as collaborating on the one-time Prince comic book in 1991. As stated above, Cowan will be revisiting this album cover for the new Marvel / Universal deal.
3. Gorillaz: Besides being the pet project of Blur’s Damon Albarn, the other collaborator on cartoon band Gorillaz is artist Jamie Hewlett. Outside of the band, Hewlett is best known for his irreverent comic series ‘Tank Girl,’ about a female bounty hunter who becomes an outlaw.
4. Joe Satriani, ‘Surfing With The Alien’: The only one of these albums to feature an actual superhero on the cover, Joe Satriani decided to put a drawing of Marvel’s Silver Surfer on the cover of his iconic second album, ‘Surfing With The Alien.’ The character was originally created by the legendary Jack Kirby, though the picture on the cover was taken from 1982’s Silver Surfer #1, drawn by John Byrne. Byrne has been a prolific creator in his own right, having drawn many of Marvel’s most beloved characters, including the X-Men and Fantastic Four.
5. Iggy Pop, ‘Brick by Brick’: For the cover of Iggy Pop’s 1990 album ‘Brick by Brick,’ Virgin Records decided to reach out to artist Charles Burns. Burns had been known by then for his more macabre comics, based somewhere between horror and sci-fi, having been published in Art Spiegelman’s ‘Raw’ magazine and Sub Pop’s fanzine, as well as commissioned work for the likes of Time and the Village Voice and his own series of graphic novels.
6. Korn, ‘Follow the Leader’: When Korn released their 1998 album, ‘Follow the Leader,’ the artwork for the album became very associated with the band at the time. Not only was it the album cover, but it also ended up becoming the story in both breakout album single “Freak on a Leash” and the first single from their next album “Falling Away from Me.” The work was created by Greg Capullo, who was a comic artist with Marvel in the 1990s and has recently worked with DC drawing Batman.
It is not unusual for musicians to use comic book art for their album covers. Musicians in both rock and hip-hop have done so, some collaborating with some pretty prolific artists. Marvel and Universal’s upcoming Hip-Hop Variant reboot will be attempting to make the connection even more clear by taking iconic covers and reimagining them with iconic characters drawn by Marvel’s best artists. The result is sure to be something special.
