however how he will interact with the Plumbers and the other Aliens Species Considering the Some of them have different Culture Some as Primitive as trolls Like the tetramand and the Appoplexian. and Some have advance culture like the galvins, if it war between all of the aliens What would Jim do? considering that one of the most defining traits is his ability to lead and unite.
Well, he'll definitely freak out as I can imagine Jim transformed into Diamondhead first. Sure the guy won't cause a forest fire but crystal shards will be everywhere. It'll take a while for any alien activity in Arcadia to pick up as I think the Primordial Heartstone would overlap the Omnitrix's signal. You'll have to have pretty strong tech to tune out the Heartstone energy or at least be 30 ft in the watch's proximity.
Jim would be so overwhelmed especially if he already got dragged into the whole Troll business. The Amulet would either gone to someone else or still be in Kanijar's hands. Latter situation is mainly because Jim going alien will put him in Bular's line of sight. Thus one bad troll has two different targets to torment.
Jim definitely use bits of different alien culture to handle various situations whether it be serious or mundane. For example, he'll be aware of challenging a troll's honor is potentially a death match since different alien species share that same custom.
As for the Plumbers, one being in Arcadia is plausible. The business gone quite slow when Vilgax suffered that harsh defeat in canon. One Plumber could've chose Arcadia Oaks as a place to peacefully retire. That is until a certain Young Atlas got his hands on the Omnitrix.
Jim needs someone to show him the ropes before he gets into a bad situation. Especially since the Primordial Heartstone might end up giving him new transformations for the Omnitrix.

I've been having so much fun with #thediscourse and thinking about how James Potter is absolutely from Devon that I may have been inspired to sit down and write my HC for Potter manor (which has another name in my HC) instead of doing actual work and stuff.

A residence at Hartscombe was first mentioned in the Domesday book as belonging to the feudal barony of the Lynleighs of Devon. Following the Norman Conquest, the lands were seized and the heiress of the Lynleigh barony was married to Nicolas de Ferrers who came over to England with William the Conqueror. The house stayed with the de Ferrers, eventually shortened to Ferrers for generations. They developed a reputation for being a great family and very important to the growth of the villages surrounding their estate. They were generous to their tenants and always condescended to join the town fair at Hartscombe celebrating the berry harvest every summer.
Unfortunately, at the end of the Elizabethan era, the Ferrers encountered a problem most dreaded among England’s most illustrious families: they lacked a male heir. Morgana Ferrers, beloved wife to Charlus, died in childbirth, leaving being the heiress of the great Ferrers’s estate and land holdings. Further complicating matters, Mariah was no normal child. On her eleventh birthday, a wizened old man knocked on the door of Hartscombe Hall. After a lengthy conversation with Charlus, the old man whisked Mariah off to a mysterious school in Scotland. While it was most shocking for a girl to be educated, let alone educated at a public school, the townsfolk were used to Charlus’s indulgence of Mariah’s whims. While at school, she met a young man named Ralston Potter, with whom she quickly became besotted. They were wed after graduation and possession of Hartscombe Hall passed into the Potter line.
The townspeople of Hartscombe noted a marked change in the relationship between themselves and the new landowner. Ralston and Mariah were perfectly amiable and certainly kept rents at a fair rate. The family withdrew from the general social intercourse of the town. They no longer presided over the berry festival, and even let go several of the domestic staffers who’d overseen the house for ages.
With every generation, the distance between the Potters and the people of Hartscombe grew, as did the rumors about the Potter family. The townsfolk became accustomed to hearing odd whizzes and bangs coming from Hartscombe Hall at all hours of the day. There was a rumor during the Georgian era, that a local boy wandered into the family’s vegetable patch and received a nip from the dog. The boy maintained he was bitten by a cabbage not a dog, but no one with any sense gave that story credence. Still, people started avoiding the grounds of Hartscombe Hall. Those that did wander in tended to end up on the other side of Exmoor with no memory of how they got there. During the celebrations of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee, a local sot named Wilbur swore he saw great plumes of purple smoke coming from Hartscombe Hall as he left The Stagshead Arms, the town pub. Naturally, people attributed this to too much liquid celebration of Wilbur’s part.
At the end of Victoria’s reign though, the Potters had all but decamped from Hartscombe Hall. There were rumor’s that Henry received a political appointment though no one could figure out exactly what position, since he certainly wasn’t an MP. Like most great families, the attractions of London proved too tempting, and the Potters only returned for very brief stays during the holidays. When it was rumored that the last Potter heir, Fleamont and his wife Euphemia were in their fifties with no heir, the town expected that the great house would be sold to the national trust or be turned into a private hotel. These things were happening all across Devon, and it would be only natural that such a change might come to Hartscombe too.
Only it did not.
In the late 1950s, Fleamont and Euphemia took up permanent residence at Hartscombe Hall. They hired all manner of local tradespeople to upgrade the house with “every modern accommodation”. Plumbers, electricians, bricklayers, stonecutters, carpenters, and builders were brought in from the town and several neighboring villages. This marked the first time most of the townsfolk had ever seen the building up close. They thought it every bit as impressive as its storied reputation supposed it to be.
The long, curved drive that leads to the estate runs up from a stream at the base of the valley and serpentines up a large hill. Finally, the dense oakwoods surrounding the drive give way to a grassy clearing where the house stands. Constructed of roughhewn, grey stone, the sprawling manor claimed three floors and ten fireplaces whose chimneys rose over thirteen gabled roofs. The grounds are simply and tastefully landscaped. Flower and vegetable gardens are tucked around the sides of the estate, out of sight of the house’s facade. The front of the house opens onto a rectangular gravel drive that was outlined by grey stone bricks. These are rumored to be the footprint of the medieval great hall that gave the estate its name.
The house looks out onto open parkland extending beyond the formal gardens. The manicured lawn gave way to wild grasses that beamed golden in the sunset. Green alder trees sprung up from this yellow sea, bounded into large plots by verdant hedges. In the distance, where the two slopes of a neighboring valley met was covered by a stubby woodland. Following the east side of the valley up, exposed rocks jutted out from the hillside. To the west of the house, the land fell steeply off into a ravine cut by two converging rivers. The tradesmen never liked to explore these areas. If they wandered too far from the house or the main drive, they found themselves very easily confused in the dense woods.
Some townsfolk found it odd that the house had yet to be wired with electricity. Others found great amusement recounting the story of Fleamont being utterly dumbfounded when a builder wheeled a refrigerator into the refurbished kitchen (“You’da thought ‘ee’d never seen one in ‘is life!”). Though the more generous in town attributed these oddities to the nature of the aristocracy. Really fine people after all could afford chefs and never actually step foot in a kitchen.
Hartscombe flourished under the influx of money from the refurbishments. Though the townsfolk did not want to look a gift horse in the mouth, several people wondered aloud whether the Potters were really back for good. Such talk stopped in the fall of 1959 when Euphemia rolled out her grand designs for a new nursery. The Potter’s were expecting a baby.
Fleamont remembrance of Hartscombe from his own childhood, as he relayed to the workers building the nursery, were of traipsing through wild moors and ancient forests. He clambered up great oak trees and watched the massive red deer graze. The unrestrained beauty of the long, golden grasses flowing over the rolling hills, meeting up with dark forests and tumbling waterfalls were the perfect situation in which to raise a child, encourage an active imagination, and build a healthy constitution. Though raised in the city, Fleamont was at heart a son of the country, and he could not wait to raise his son there.

Check it out: the perfect bowl for your acorn collection. Oh, you don't have an acorn collection? Weirdo. Fortunately, this bowl is good for other stuff too. Like holding your collection of those helicopter seed things. Those are called samaras, fyi. Words. :) This pretty pedestaled bowl is acorned ... um, adorned with oak leaves, which is interesting considering that the bowl is an evergreen. Yep. This deciduous dish is in great vintage condition. It would never make it as a plumber 'cause there are no cracks in sight. And I love how much room there is inside it. Fill it with potpourri, a snack, or just some good old-fashioned oxygen. If a tree falls in the forest and you're not around to hear it, that's because you're inside admiring your new favorite bowl.

Pad and living room
This weekend is exactly what I wanted the house to be. A project that would bring our friends together. Spurlock and Lauren came up to help us build a foundation for the much anticipated Pumphouse. Step 1 to getting drinkable water.
The project started with our first recycled water adventure. Jim and Spurs picked up a water trailor and filled it up from the recycled water spigget just between our place and town. Then the fun part - watering the area of land we were going to dig up with essentially a fire house. The stuff boys dreams are made of I imagine.
With the ground properly soaked, we started to dig up and clear the land first thing Saturday morning. Jim had a plan but given none of us had done this before it was a bit of test and learn. We cleared plants, dug up the ground and used the rake to flatten it all out as best as we could. Then we laid the 2x4xs in the ground and drove stakes in to hold them in place. From there we put down so mesh to keep rodents out. Took the new truck down to the landscape supply shop, filled her up with base rock, dumped that into our sand box and tampered it down. Finally step was another run or two to the landscape spot for gravel and boom - we’d built our foundation.
It was hard work. Plus we had morning bike rides and runs so the avo toast, rooftop cocktails, and pizza were well deserved. Weekends like this I feel grateful for our friends. Spurlock and Lauren crushed the project. We couldn’t have done it without them. Their spirit and energy just makes the station feel even more like a special space.
I also just felt fucking lucky Healdsburg is in one place. This was our first weekend back post fall fires - which I feel like are going to be an every year thing now. I was absolutely beside myself  imaging all of Healdsburg just being wiped off the map. No more farms. No more vineyards. No more tasting rooms.
In my heart I know buying this house is a gamble. Healdsburg is just not going to do well with the drought, flooding and fires that will inevitably come from climate change. It feels vulnerable. Humbling. And at the same time there is a sense of resilience and community I’ve never experienced.
On Friday there was a celebration in the time square that the two didn’t burn down. Bienvenidos Healdsburg - welcome home. The park had a little gratitude wall up where people were writing what they were thankful for (fire fighters) and the kids got a round two of Halloween since everyone was evacuated the weekend before.
Having this house just brings you so close to the weather, the land, farming and water. I mean we had to go get water to just get the land ready to dig because by mid November its not rained a single day. And we are building this pump house for a well that’s likely to dry up in the near future. All of which won’t matter if the whole place burns down.
“Don’t worry you have fire insurance” couldn’t be less comforting. Its not about my house burning down. It’s the entire Sonoma economy that’s going to crash.
In the mean time, I’m enjoying every bit of time we get in Healdsburg and with our friends. And just feeling so lucky everytime I drive down Westside road. There’s something spiritual almost other worldly about it in the fall. The way the sun shines down through the oak trees and across the fields of grape vines turned orange and red for fall.
Oof. Sometimes you get the house and sometimes the house gets you. I got annihilated by the fucking poison oak forest that is Bonney Doon Station. The second time in 1 month. And this time it was brutal. All over my face and behind my ears. Up my legs and way too close to my bikini line.
I’m not sure what was worse the behind ears itching or the mania from taking shit loads of steroids. I’m going to go ahead and rate this as top 5 worst experiences. And to be honest was considering weather or not we’d need to sell the place. I mean what if I could never do any work outdoors anymore? What if I’m allergic to our house?
Jim could see my concern and acted swiftly. He’s promised to bring in the big guns (tractors) to get rid of the invasive, spikey blackberry bush and hopefully the poison oak with it.
From now on it double pants, double shirts, gloves and a lot of washing with technu.
Holy shit it gets cold up here. So cold it froze are pipes...and we almost didn’t have running water for our first Thanksgiving with the Hyman family all in town.
Luckily the boys re-PVC piped the jurry rigged set-up and that turned out to be one of the quicker projects of the weekend. Compared to the bathroom which still managed to be a really nightmare and eventually required back up from a real deal plumber. The good news is we are live - 2 bedroom and 2 working bathrooms!
The weekend highlights were family wine tasting at our new favorite spots: Rafanelli, Siani, and Arista. Lots of Whiskey tasting at Alley 6 and X. Of course not until after the house work was done. Beyond the shower, the boys also painted the new pump house and used some power tools for things. I think we made probably 10 runs to Ace Hardware. Solid long weekend.
And finally Thanksgiving. We got a Healdsburg Turkey Trot, 60 mile ride and dinner at the Morris family residence all into one day.

“Bowser, speak up.  You’re mumbling in Koopa again.”
“I’d just like to see you take on Mario.”
“Is that so?”  Ganondorf leaned toward the Koopa King and set his mug down on the badly scarred oak table with a small clank, drawing Bowser’s gaze with a small start.  The up-tilted edge of Ganondorf’s mouth made him lean away.  “Two plumbers from the woods is too much for me to handle, is it?”
“Don’t laugh!  You’ve been defeated by a fairy boy from the forest!”
Ganondorf slammed his palm against the wood.  “The Goddess’ Chosen.  A reincarnation of an enemy who my god-form fought.  That’s different.”
“Assisted by fate to defeat you when he arrives,” said Bowser, “but he can’t beat me.”
“He fights dodongos and dragons, Bowser.  You’re hardly worth his time.”
“Then let’s make a deal.”  Bowser leaned back in, digging in his claws.  Ganondorf raised his eyebrows at the gouges left in the wood but didn’t comment.  “I’ll take care of Link, and you take care of Mario and his brother.”
Ganondorf snorted.  “I could demand you add Princess Zelda to your hit list for the price of both brothers, but I’d like to see how you get past the kid first.”
“How long do we have?”
“A fortnight sounds fair,” Ganondorf said.  “It’ll give me some wiggle room and that should be enough opportunity to have the kid send you scurrying back to me.”
“A fortnight it is!” Bowser roared decisively.  “What happens if one fails and one succeeds?”
“Derision from the successor, and the failure bows a knee to the other in eternal servitude,” purred Ganondorf smugly.
“Deal!”  The dragon turtle’s scaly hand thrust a little too close to Ganondorf’s eyes.  He brought it down and clenched it hard.
“Deal.”
