Graduation season is in full swing – ready to throw an unforgettable prom for your sims? If you've got high schoolers in your game, now's the perfect time to plan their big school celebration. This article has everything you might need: you'll find solutions whether you want to fix game quirks, add beautiful details, or just throw an awesome party without the hassle.

Graduation Gown Recolor by buggy starship

Finally someone fixed that weird color choice by Sims 4 developers – now graduation gowns perfectly match the caps, without that awkward blue tint. If this mismatch bothered you too, this mod solves it, with separate versions available for male and female sims.

Seasonable School Events by @sonozakisisterssims4

This mod makes school events like prom and exams more rare and meaningful in The Sims 4. Instead of annoying you every week, they now happen once per season, and you can adjust the interval to match your gameplay pace (from 2 to 12 weeks). It also fixes the bug with weekly repeats – prom will actually be that long-awaited event, not just another calendar item.

Alternatively, you can install another mod from this creator that lets you schedule school events yourself.

No Prom Invites from Random Acquaintances by @sonozakisisterssims4

Only truly close sims will invite your graduates to prom: romantic partners need at least 30 relationship points, while friendly invites only come from best friends. Perfect for those wanting realistic relationships in-game!

At last no more principal and teachers showing up to graduation in ridiculous random outfits! This mod forces all ceremony guests to appear in proper formal wear you've selected for them. Now graduation will look truly ceremonial, without clown costumes and absurd outfit combinations.

Prom Lasts Longer

A couple of mods that extend the duration of prom in The Sims 4, making the event more grand and memorable. Now there’ll be enough time for dancing, socializing, and traditional rituals like crowning the prom king and queen. Prom will become the full-fledged celebration it’s meant to be.

Now, prom won’t just crown one king/queen and a jester, it’ll crown two real kings and queens! There are three versions to choose from: a base version with boosted odds for active sims, an EA-default version with original odds, and a special one for those using the Dynamic Teen Life mod (which factors in popularity and social status). No more humiliating jester hats, only deserving winners!

Side FX – Visual Effect Player by @ravasheencc

This set will add magic to your prom: twinkling lights, romantic glows, and other effects. It’s simple: 4 light sources + a control panel where you can toggle the lighting with a single button. See how it works in the video below.

Attended Prom New Milestone by Lorea

This mod adds a special milestone "Attended Prom" for teen sims who went to the school dance.

hey, lovely! i actually use photoshop to make my own family trees! i’ve tried to use the plumtreeapp but it’s not necessarily my favorite so i’ve been making my own!
