I NEED TO SEE PLUSHBON AND PLUSHBEAR NOW!

Have some very quick concept sketches of them I guess? It took me all day to get a good look for these guys because I had to work backwards from the absolute gremlin that is plushtrap for their body structures.

They smol.

They bun and bear.

But most importantly…

They steal chair.

That’s how these two pacifist spirits end up participating in the “mess with the night guard” game. They steal his spinny spinny chair and cause him minor inconvenience. Crying child is just happy they don’t have to watch as Cassidy mentally tortures them anymore. Also, as a big brother now, he’s gotta live up to Mikey’s prankster glory.

(EDIT: I may end up making these two even more plushie like? I’m having a hard time with combining the animatronic and plush toy features though. It will either look too much like a walking stuffed animal or too much like a robot. Bonbon and Bonnet have been a good reference, but they don’t have a full body like Plushtrap. If anyone has any advice on how to execute this, I’d be happy to hear it.)

See, The only person who chris would ever wanna actively hurt is Michael, but seeing how an 8 foot floating and teleporting bear can be scary and also cause heart attacks for most, SO he communicates with others through Electronics and more frequently, The plush bear!

While the plushbear cannot teleport, Big Bear can, and has a habit of just placing him places and then disappearing.

he doesnt really like looking at fredbear either, Plushbear is a glorified livestream for him, a little spy camera! if you will!

Springtrap usually carries him around, its easier carrying a small version of son then the bear equivalent of a jigsaw puzzle, seeing how Goldie does not have an endoskeleton, that guy is held together by Chris and Chris alone, which is also why hes often sitting limply when he first appears!

Yeah you know what? Y'all get this speech too, William Afton is scarier when he's humanized than when he's a yellow bunny joker man, entire deal under the cut bc it's fnaf, there's child murder galore so beware

Like, I remember back when we first realized he had a family, and I remember how mad people got when I said that he clearly didn't want his kids to get hurt. Saying he loved them would be extrapolating, but he actively took actions to prevent them from getting injured. We definitively see this with him insisting that Elizabeth stay away from the animatronics, and if you think plushbear is a nanny cam then he seemed to be trying to help Evan, too.

And like, yeah, you could argue any number of motivations. Maybe he was telling Elizabeth all that because he was trying for reverse psychology. Maybe, even if it is a nanny cam, he was just trying to manipulate his son. But he still did things that could feasibly protect his kids, and he could've killed them easily. They lived with him. His targets were kids where he worked, it's not like he couldn't have just brought his kids with him and said that they went missing, too. And they wouldn't even have to be lured; they'd just follow their dad. So I'd argue that he cared enough about them not to use them for his evil experiments.

And if he doesn't start killing until after 83, then you could argue that he started killing because he was trying to find a way to resurrect his own son. If Plushbear is a nanny cam, then that's William at the end, vowing to "put you back together," more likely than not.

And that's scarier to me. Someone murdering kids for fun? As a villain, it's cartoonishly evil. I don't care about this villain, his purpose is exclusively to be The Bad Guy, I don't have to think at all. A parent trying to bring their kid back to life, losing everything in the process? Losing their sense of morality, losing their other kids, their friends, their job, their very name, and in the end their dead kid hates them? Heck, he keeps his dead kid's favorite stuffed animal on his desk, that's even harder to explain as being just another evil thing. It seems to me like he's a grieving parent who completely snapped. Now it's a tragedy, but not necessarily scarier.

What makes it scarier is the way he's described in the books that, presumably, is something that carries over to the games. He's charismatic, he's "like Santa." Everyone loves him. All the children love him. He's great with kids. In the games, the one time we see him alive is when he's selling killer robots to a company. They realize that it's killer robots, and he convinces them to buy anyway. He's clearly still charismatic.

He's not scary because he's killing innocents, he's scary because these kids would've known him. Charlie didn't run when he pulled up beside her, out in the rain, because he was a family friend. He's scary because that's exactly what happens in real life. I don't have to worry about the Joker running over and blowing up a hospital, but I do have to worry about William Afton, your dad's old college buddy that everyone loves, deciding that what he wants is more important than your life. The family friend whose word everyone would believe over yours is a much scarier villain than the creepy dude in the woods, because it's a real threat.

I love the idea of there being another Afton child! Could I get some cute headcanons about Rebecca Afton and her family again?

Luckily, I’ll probably never run out of these! These are more bittersweet, just to warn you. If you want cuter ones or a drabble even hit me up!

William, as a recently divorced man, caught a lot of unwanted attention from single moms at the diner when he’d bring baby Rebecca to work. It overwhelmed his infant daughter, which only irritated him further. He started having her stay in a playpen in parts and service with him as he worked, so they could be interrupted a little less.

This is part of the reason that Rebecca had no phobia of animatronics, unlike her brother Evan. He was introduced to them as a toddler and had enough brain development to think these robots ate people. Meanwhile, Becca has seen them since before she can remember, with Spring Bonnie being the one she was in contact with most.

Micheal loved to play rough and tumble with his younger siblings. Picking them up, tossing them around, and letting them try to take him down. His father would often get on him for being too harsh and reckless, but all of his siblings were usually crying from laughter by the time they were done play fighting. Rebecca would even have giggle fits.

Elizabeth was the only child her mother wanted custody of, being her favorite. When she did get to see her father, brothers and sister, she would make the most of it. She would often sneak Becca to the workshop to see Circus Baby when she was still being built, claiming that Baby would let her see them all the time at the new restaurant made just for her.

Evan and Rebecca were extremely close, with her big brother taking his role to heart. He hovered over her, worried about her getting hurt, especially when she was by the animatronics at the diner. He would sneak into her room at night to protect her from monsters, with William or Micheal having to go get them tucked back into bed.

Henry had lost his only daughter months before Rebecca was born, and immediately became attached as a way to fill the hole in his heart. Nobody could replace his little girl but when Clara walked out on William, he knew all of his kids would need someone else to rely on. Uncle Henry was beloved by all the Afton children, especially Micheal and Rebecca.

Clara was only ever interested in her other children when Elizabeth vanished, secretly blaming them for it. It made the youngest of them determined to find her. Rebecca snuck down into the sister location in her father’s bag one night, claiming that Lizzie told her to. William, being very frightened, was quick to scoop her up before she could get close to Baby.

Rebecca and Evan were both the ones William was most worried about after he killed Elizabeth, as he didn’t know what threats could kill them before he had a chance to do it himself. Plushbear and Plushbon were long standing projects of his, almost as old as the two children, and meant to be there when he wasn’t around to keep them safe.

Okay I actually don't know how popular that theory is on tumblr. But like MCI83 (MCI happened sometime before fnaf 4 in 1983) is my favourite interpretation of MCI bc there's already rumors about haunted, weird acting animatronics.

And if not the MCI (so the fnaf 1 kids) then maybe some other murders already happened? It just really opens so many possibilities. Bc if any murders already happened (either MCI or other kids) then we know Henry's daughter is already dead bc as we know from Henry's speech in insanity ending his daughter was the first victim ("a wound first inflicted on me, but then one that I let bleed out to cause all of this.") With some theories being that she's talking through plushbear (although in fnaf sl fredbear plush has the walkie-talkie but maybe William intentionally gave his son haunted plush?). I just like wondering about different possibilities, that doesn't mean I don't take into account any other options it's just my favourite one.

TIAU Part 20: Surprise of surprises, Psychic Friend Fredbear (who CC calls Plushbear) is canon in my AU! But she’s not a big part of it. The only one who’s really aware of her existence is CORE, and you know, it knows everything anyways.

In my AU, Plushbear does travel universes and often does come to visit CORE, since it’s the only one who really knows of her existence. They’ve become pretty good friends.

Anyways, just thought it’d be a fun little AU fact.
