I played Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky for the first time a little while ago and was reminded of how very wholesome the PMD series is. So here are some completely self-indulgent drawings of my rescue team. Shout-out to anyone else that has played the game with this specific combo!

Squirtle and Charmander from Rescue Team DX!!!

I drew this for a great irl friend a while ago, these are the Pokémon she had on her team!!! Last summer we went on vacation and I watched her explore Sky Tower. She even let me play a bit (I only have the original Blue Rescue Team), and I instantly fell in love with these two 😭🧡🩵

I had so much fun drawing this, I experimented a lot with my style and I'd love to keep making more art similar to this! I tried to give them matching colours, and the "rainbow" flame of Charmander is my fav detail tbh hehe

my original team was me as a charmander, and my partner as a squirtle. Miss those guys.

Also got new brushes so enjoy the experimental style
