It honestly isn't uncommon for others to mistake Sarah for Sasha's partner. She is shy, introverted, and often lets Sasha do all of the talking. Sarah feels uncomfortable talking and will often only utter 5 or less words at a time, and that's if she speaks at all. She also shows very little emotion, and considering the way she tends to drift off into thought and stare ahead blankly, it's understandable that some onlookers might doubt her dedication to her team. That, however, would be a mistake. Sarah is not the most conventional leader, but she keeps a very close eye on her teammates, and tends actively to their needs. She is more than happy to remain in the background, and allow them the room they need for independence and personal growth. But rest assured, she is always watching and will happily step in when you need her.

Sarah has a tendency to fill a sort of older sister roll for Team Memory, and despite her occasional awkwardness, will not tolerate her team being picked on. She would do anything for them, even if it means resorting to force. They are her family, after all. Sarah does conceal a good deal of inner conflict and anxiety, which she had become quite adept at keeping hidden over her lifetime... mostly because she doesn't want anyone to worry about her (even when they really should) but it has also become second nature over time. The only one who has consistently proven to be able to see through to her emotions is Jayden.

Sarah is a gentle soul; it may not be immediately apparent, but she has a lot of love to give. She prefers rescue missions, as she is not particularly adventurous. It should also be noted that if you place a lost or upset child in front of her, 9 times out of 10 she will immediately take them under her wing. This is a trait she shares with Jayden, although while he doesn't always realize he's doing it, Sarah absolutely does.

HISTORY:

Unlike most Pokémon, Sarah was actually born a human. However, even before she lost her memory, there was still very little that she actually knew about her origins. She never knew her parents... whether they were killed, or abandoned her to die, it didn't matter to her, because she couldn't really remember them. In fact, she couldn't remember EVER meeting another human... she grew up raised by Pokémon, and for that reason, probably wouldn't know how to interact with one even if she did. All she did know was that Soren, a young Duskull, found her wandering around one day and brought her back with him to Dialga's stockade. The legendary's prison was not her home for long. Her Dimensional Scream ability activated for the first time after accidentally touching Primal Dialga, who promptly decided that she was a threat who needed to be dealt with. Fearing for her life, the child ran away, and eventually found herself in an unfamiliar forest. It was there that she was found starving and exhausted by two Grovyles, Viridian and Olive. Sarah lived with the family, alongside Treecko siblings Jayden and Mila, for a few years. Unfortunately, a group of feral fire types burned the forest down, killing of most the Pokémon who lived there. Jayden and Sarah escaped, and had been partners ever since... up until the point her life changed forever. Presently, Sarah has no memory of her past life. With her memory went any sense of identity at all. This is something she struggles with almost constantly, but she is doing her best to support her partner, Sasha, while trying to navigate her new existence as a Piplup...
