OK I will go more into it later BUT my second trilogy rewrite/au for ace attorney that this au follows has actually 4 “games”:
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
- This remains largely unchanged from the real AA4.
- Biggest change is that Turnabout Trump is no longer Apollo’s first case - his first case was defending Clay.
- pretty much everything else is the same lol
Ace Attorney: Tricks or Trials
- please note names are subject to change
- this game is centered around the Gramarye plotline, with the sibling reveal happening here
- most notable is the final case has Trucy as the defendant and Thalassa as the victim, and the prosecutor introduced this game is the real murderer
Athena Cykes: Ace Attorney
- this is a revamp of dual destinies
- probably the most thought out one atm.
- athena is the sole pov character here (outside of the investigation section by Phoenix and Trucy in the actual game, which remains). things are shifted and reworked to change this.
- this game is focused on Athena’s story but ALSO how she slots into the WAA and the fall out of the previous game
- way more I could put but I’ll leave it here
Ace Attorney: Righteous Requiem
- last game of quadrilogy
- focused on the gavin storyline
- not fully thought out yet - the one I have the least figured out
but yeah when I reference the rewrite or any of these titles… I am talking about this.

[this post will be deleted and moved to a new post on the pmdn blog eventually. keeping it so I don’t break the read more on the reblog atm though.]
continent for pmd au. rough outline for it was generated from this.
ANYWAY
There’s 4 regions. And a large mountain in the center, cutting one off from the others.
general explanations for region lore under the cut
Miseer (name derived from Misery)
- Where the Danganronpa characters come from
- It used to be a highly respected region, with an incredibly respected school… until the Great Tragedy (it probably also used to have a different name lol)
- The place is now a complete wasteland, destroyed and ravaged by corrupted Pokemon and non-pokemon monsters alike
- During the apocalyptic tragedy, a legendary/heroes/unsure cut it off from the rest of the continent with large mountain ranges, to keep the chaos contained
- The survivors from the region are currently working on restoration -
- There’s political strain between Miseer’s Restoration Group and the other regions. Many other regions see the place as a lost cause, and the Restoration Group is frustrated by the lack of assistance from them
- If I include it, School-Live goes here (School-Live isn’t a hyperfixation of mine but I found it interesting enough that I might include it anyway - be a nice way to flesh out this region outside of the Danganronpa cast)
- Any other series that take place in a post-apocalyptic or similar setting that get added will also take place here lol
Valior (name derived from Valor)
- Valior is a thriving region, but the barrier between them and Miseer is weak, with the mountain range being short and some caves that act as passage ways between them.
- As such, the region is the populated region most plagued by monsters and threats to the publics’ safety
- This area is the place where a majority of previously human Chosen Heroes are from. If a human is sent to this world, they’ll probably be sent here.
- That said, Chosen Heroes can be pokemon born, though it’s uncommon. Chosen Heroes tend to be assumed to be human though, and unless they show their worth, Chosen are generally treated suspiciously.
- The Explorer’s Guild is here, and the main form of “government”. The Explorer’s Guild is technically under Riddlo’s government. Rescue Teams and Exploration Teams pretty much are all within Valior, with only some in Preoma and almost zero in Riddlo.
- Series characters that come from here would be Digimon Adventure, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and Kingdom Hearts
- If I include it, Dungeon Meshi also goes here
- If I include Amphibia, Sasha spawns here
Riddlo (name derived from Riddle)
- The farthest removed from Miseer, and hence the most populated, industrial, and technically advanced region. The region is full of large cities, with few smaller towns.
- The horrors that haunt this region are rarely horrific monsters or corrupted pokemon, but rather murder, organized crime, and corrupt police and government
- There is. A LOT of murder that happens here.
- This place is also the most powerful politically, and there is strain between here and
- The characters that come from here are Ace Attorney, AI: The Somnium Files, and Detective Conan
- Ghost Trick would also be here if I include it… Maybe also TWEWY? I also think Death Note would be fun as the case that brings all the above guys together
- If I include Amphibia, Marcy spawns here
Preoma (name derived from Preom)
- Most “normal” place tbh
- Mostly smaller towns, with some larger cities. There are still occasional monster attacks, but they’re relatively uncommon.
- This isn’t to say that there is no strange things going on here - in fact, this seems to be where the more… extraordinary monsters tend to lie
- Government tends to just be pretty small and local - though, they are unfortunately still under Riddlo’s control politically
- Series characters that come from here are Zombieland Saga, Equestria Girls, The Amazing Digital Circus, and Deltarune
- If I include it, Wordgirl is here too
- If Amphibia is included, Anne spawns here
——
GENERAL AU NOTES:
- There are monsters that are corrupted pokemon (called ‘Shades’ and ‘Shines’). They come in a variety of stages of severity, with some pokemon being able to live normally despite being technically “infected”. Others with more severe corruptions, however, can be turned into large undead monstrous creatures.
- There are non-sapient beasts and monsters that weren’t ever pokemon! These would be the monsters the Dungeon Meshi gang would eat lol…
- Torn on whether or not animals exist - leaning towards yes.
- Stories of series are generally similar to their canon, with a PMD spin to it. Some vary more than others, and some are actually based on my non-PMD AUs of their series.
- I’m legitimately invested in this universe now and may even make some OCs that are just original to this universe lol
- I do have a bit of a of something in mind if I do decide to include some of the series that are much more geared towards younger audiences in the way of like… separating them from the more mature stories. Like… please rest assured that if I do include Wordgirl, it would not involve Becky going to Riddlo and getting involved in a murder case lol. It will just be things of the general Wordgirl fare, with at most a bit more of a focus on mental health and the pressure that comes with being a child superhero.
- I can not emphasize enough how much this is all subject to change. Also how aware I am of how cringey this all is orz

also just because I feel bad that I have not gotten around to writing out the plot synopsis/lore for ANY series in pmdn yet on here I shall copy the bullet point list I sent Connor to describe the pmdn versions of Glorious Guild and Imaginary Dreamers…. With some exclusions, since there are some plot spoilers lmao.
Glorious Guild:
- this one is a bit hard… Right now I have it set that the human world that the pmdn world pulls from is one without pokemon. I could change it so Gloria is pulled from a different human world with pokemon, but I think I may just change it to her no longer being Gloria from SWSH.
- I think instead she may be an up and coming soccer player.
- Some species changes to align with PMDN stuff! Ruins is now a Flareon/Ursaring, Jazz is a Lucario/Zebstrika (may change this), Gloria is a Torracat, and still need to determine [REDACTED]
- Gloria is a chosen of Zamazenta, [REDACTED]
- Wishbone is one of Eternatus’ parts (I really need to figure out what the term I want to use for this are - I’m leaning towards Aspects?)
- He has been accidentally supercharging nearby Shades and Shines with his aura, Gloria was sent to stop him
- He still has some bad history with either Zacian and Zamazenta themselves, or their former Heroes
- There’s more but this is like. The main thing.
Imaginary Dreamers:
- this one is a bit more fleshed out since it is… way different than canon. but that’s part of the fun part!
- Zeus is an Aspect created by Mew and Arceus together. He is a Mewtwo/Silvally.
- He believes he should be the ultimate God of this world. He thinks he should be the *only* God of this world.
- And so, his actions are in service of that.
- Kyubey, an Aspect of Jirachi, has a system that intrigued him. The idea of creating your own threats for your Heroes to fight out of your own former Heroes. And, the huge amount of emotional energy you can reap from it.
- He tweaks it a bit. Unlike Kyubey that doesn’t bring over human heroes, Zeus decides the guaranteed strong souls are worth the effort (note: human souls are not inherently stronger - it’s just that only strong souls are even capable of being brought through dimensions in the first place)
- Zeus gives the Chosen he chooses a gift and a curse - he binds part of himself to his Chosen, and while they can draw power from him, he can also draw power from them. He also boosts their ability to turn emotions into magic, making them much stronger but also much more susceptible to corruption.
- Almost every Chosen Hero he has ends up succumbing to corruption, and are naturally drawn to the Mystery Dungeon Zeus created for them.
- Slate (Fade) and Aster (Flicker) are some of the few that actually die rather than succumb to corruption
- Slate died from [REDACTED]. Aster died from a fight within Zeus’ mystery dungeon, after she attempted to traverse it alone after the death of her fated partner, Daisy.
- Yveltal takes pity on them, one of the few legends that can see that Zeus is intentionally dooming his Chosen.
- Yveltal takes them on as Reapers, deceased souls that help Yveltal guide the dead to the afterlife.
- Begonia is still a reincarnation of Daisy, and Aster still needs to cope with the fact that Daisy is gone and grow close to Begonia as she is.
- [REDACTED]
- Casey has Ghost Sight, an advanced form of Aura Sight. Aura Sight allows people that have it to see the auras of others, and are capable to tell by sight of someone is a Light or Shadow pokemon (or corrupted). Ghost Sight has those same perks, but allows you to also see Ghosts (including Reapers).
- Gwyn is from Mysti, particularly from a town that worships Zeus.
- There’s more details I think but these are the easiest to kinda just put down. Like the basics.

LORE: Kemono & Their Souls
This is a post expanding the lore of Bound Partners, also known as Kemono. It will mostly reiterate information in this post, but with more detail.
First off, the term Kemono is derived from the fact that within Digimon Survive, Digimon are called Kemonogami (aka Beast Gods). I decided to just cut off the God part and use the Japanese word for “Beast” instead. Mostly noting this if anyone is curious where that term came from!
Anyway, Kemono specifically are the Partners by human Heroes chosen by Mew. Kemono are always at least a bit younger than their Hero, as their soul was created to resonate with their Hero’s.
Kemono naturally have weak and malleable souls. Upon meeting their respective Hero, a third of their soul is swapped with their Hero’s. A Hero can very rarely have two Kemono. In this case, the Kemono must have been born as twins (usually from the same egg - but not required), and the Kemono already have swapped a fourth of their soul with eachother. Once each meets their Hero, they swap another fourth with their Hero.
Once Heroes and Kemono meet, they will feel like they were incomplete before meeting. They are practically inseparable after. They can also sense each other’s location.
This in turn leads to them having the power of their Hero partner in addition to their own, along with gaining the powerful magic and abilities that would typically be granted to Heroes.
There’s many benefits to this system, including:
- Kemono, outside of very specific circumstances, are incapable of being corrupted unless their Hero is
- Kemono are incapable of dying unless their Hero does, and have increased natural healing
- Kemono are able to wield double the power, using the combined strength of both them and their Hero
There are, however, many downsides:
- If the Hero is corrupted, so is their Kemono
- If the Hero dies, so do their Kemono
- Heroes are relatively weak in battles themselves, as their Kemono wields all their power
- If the Hero rejects their Kemono, or vice versa, it will lead to corruption, since they are rejecting part of their soul. Once corrupted, they will go on to attack those around them, including each other. Note: Minor disagreements will not cause corruption - it must be long term strife.
- As an addendum to above - it is possible for the Kemono to become on the brink of corruption if their Hero is in a particularly poor emotional state. Within this almost corrupted state, the Kemono may start attacking whatever they deem as the cause of the Hero’s upset. This may include the Hero themself.
If you are reading this and thinking to yourself “huh this system is kinda fucked up!”, I will note that is… kinda intentional lol. Translating the idea of Digimon within this universe kinda does make apparent how the Digimon and Tamer dynamic can be a bit weird and flawed! They are both halves of the same soul, but one has more influence than the other.

LORE: Heroes & Chosen
Within the PMDN universe, there exist Heroes & Chosen. They both go hand in hand. That said, all Chosen are Heroes but not all Heroes are Chosen.
Heroes refers explicitly to those blessed by the Legendaries. They are fated to fight and save the world from calamity or trouble, big or small. They typically also have one or more fated partners, which is gone more into here. That said, they do not always have any.
Heroes are typically granted magical powers, strength, and abilities thanks to their blessing. It is also worth noting that Legendaries can have multiple Heroes at any given time, but unless they’re particularly powerful they usually just opt for one.
Chosen are explicitly Heroes that used to be human. They were explicitly called to this world to assist it. They can be called at any age, with some being called as babies and growing up among pokemon unaware of they were born human.
Most Heroes are Chosen. It is somewhat rare for a pokemon born within this world itself to be a Hero. That said, it is not impossible. One notable example is that all of Kyubey’s Heroes were born as pokemon, though he is a special case in general among legendaries.
It is widely known in this world that Heroes and Chosen exist. Most consider the terms interchangeable, meaning if you are a Hero others will assume you were born human regardless of if that’s actually the case. Heroes and Chosen are mostly found in Valior, and Chosen are seen as particularly odd outside of that region.
It is not uncommon for people to speculate on other’s status as a Hero or Chosen, though it is considered particularly impolite to do so publicly. Very much something not considered publicly acceptable to do, but most people do still do so privately and among friends regardless, even though doing so privately doesn’t really make it no longer impolite.

How did N get a daughter?
oh boy nevy lore time!!
so some context is that Miseer in general kinda ended up the place where the different characters from different series actually like… interact a lot. like I’m the other regions, series tend to be a bit self contained (even though they could theoretically interact outside of it).
anyway Nevy.
So this was spawned by the fact that I do find Anti-Mabel a fun character - and I honestly kinda feel bad for her? Like I know the whole point is that she’s comically evil but also. She’s thirteen.
So, within PMDN Anti-Mabel (aka Nevy, and I’m going to be referring to her purely as Nevy from here on), does end up going through the rift and into this dimension when she’s thrown off the ship. And she ends up traveling up the ridge between Miseer and Preoma, ending up in the Drone District of Miseer.
Which is where the Murder Drones stuff comes in! Basically, while I still am working on the full timeline, the main points of each series aren’t all happening at the same time - by the time the events of Gravity Falls has happened, Murder Drones’ main story has already long ended and now they are all adults. Along with this, N, Uzi, and V are all married.
Basically, N finds Nevy in the snow during a patrol, and they end up taking her in!

i am slowly working on pages but. this will definitely take a while. so uh.
I think I will open in character asks already. that said I understand that while waiting for the pages, it’s kinda hard to determine what’s going on! please be clear the ask is specifically directed at a character tho, otherwise I may assume it’s just one for me (or not know who it’s for)
as always if you have any various questions regarding lore and how things have been adapted and so on, you’re free to just send an ask. I have a lot of thoughts regarding pmdn, just don’t have much out in public because it’s hard to know where to even begin lmao (plus just takes time to write stuff up).

What is the PMDN AU?
PMDN is a large crossover where characters from multiple series I like take place within the same world. The world is a PMD-based world, where everyone is pokemon. That said, it is also made to be more similar to our world structure wise rather than fully Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.
The plot lines of stories within this universe are usually similar to their canon counterparts, at least as much as they can be with universe change. There are some exceptions, where there might be changes to be better suited for this universe, for crossovers, or to follow pre-existing AUs I have for the respective series rather than canon. Also for some media I just don’t like the canon so rewrote parts I didn’t like.
Each series has it’s own PMDN tag, and that tag will be used for every post including it’s characters.
What series are part of the PMDN AU?
Series list is here. This post will link to each series’ PMDN story summary post when created. Please note I will be posting untagged spoilers for all these series.
What is PMDN’s lore?
A masterpost of all lore posts is here. It will be updated as posts are made, and also includes some topics that will be written up later. You can also check the #lore post tag.
Asks are on feel free to ask me stuff if you have any questions!
This blog and AU is still under construction. More will be added to this post as more is figured out! Thank you for coming by.
