pmunc 2018 is not disorganized. the people who planned it have been doing so for an entire summer + semester - they did not misbook buses - the buses were caught in the snow and that's why they were late. it's not their fault the dinner caterers could not extend hours, that's why they ordered pizza for those who did not have dinner. also, the midnight crisis has ALWAYS existed so it's not like they added it for your discomfort @the complainer who knows nothing about PMUNC

Tomorrow is mondayy!! Which means that I have photography class, so usually I have to hand to the teacher between 3-8 photos depending in what she asks. But tomorrow is a special monday is more *OH FCK* because now we have the other teacher, he is specialized in ilumination (my weakness) so, 1. we weren't supposed to edit the photos and 2. I didn't know that so 3. I'm kind of f*cked up because I can't reverse what I've done. Apart from my crisis he is super tough, every detail counts, for example: for the photos with the candies I was cleaning the little sugar crystals because I was nervous that the the light reflected in those little crystals and everything went wrong, I was panicking while taking thos pictures. But I also loved to take those pictures because I was able to express my feelings, I've never expressed my feelings clearly and with those pictures it was magical, I've never been so happy while creating art and hopefully I'm able to take more pictures like those. Good byeee my loveees!! PS. -1 for PMUNC!! (I'm beyond exiteeeedd!!)

So I'm really interested in getting the PMUNC Secretary General's job for next year but I'm having doubts about reaching out to the current one. As a girl, if I asked him to grab coffee or have a chat about it over a meal, I don't want him to think that I like him because I definitely don't. How can I ask in a way that makes him feel like I don't have other intentions?
Response from Scarlett O’Hara:
I think if you’re straight up and say “I’d really appreciate a chance to pick your brain or learn more about the position or get your take on the responsibilities” and state/hint at your interest in the role, then he’d be a little rudely presumptuous in thinking that you have other intentions just bc you’re a girl. If you can, suggest that the meal be in the dhall since it’s more casual, and ask if it can be a *quick* coffee/meal. And if you’re asking in person, just be platonic about it, like the obvious things of don’t start flipping your hair or randomly complimenting unless you’re saying you admired his work in the role. If this is in an email/text, maybe don’t use more than one exclamation point? I think it’ll be clear as long as you straight up state the purpose of the coffee/meal. Good luck!

Best clubs for history or politics majors? Im a frosh and have joined 0 clubs.
Response from Pablo:
Any club! Just go try out a bunch of different stuff and see how it goes! If you’re looking for clubs that specifically align with those majors, maybe check out the James Madison Society, the Law and Public Affairs group, or other department-run organizations. Princeton Model Congress is starting up soon and I highly recommend you look into them - they are great! Why not also try out PMUNC or PICSIM, which are run by the International Relations Council? Essentially, they’re just fun competitions that revolve around some kind of IR-related theme. You can also check out the Dems and the Reps - just go onto Princeton List Serv and add yourself to the list serv, or really any politically affiliated group. The leadership for both cohorts is particularly strong this year!
And idk, plan events with the Student Events Committee, apply for USG committees or to be a U-Councilor (or run for a position of some kind which I think happens soon), go to Whig-Clio debates and then get involved! There are so many activities that it can be overwhelming. Hopefully, this post made you feel like you weren’t too late to join anything really cool - just put yourself out there!
