Mesh editing now works!!!!!! You use the scroll bar to move and I'll later have alt-click change which method it should use to move it (face normal, axis-aligned from look angle, straight towards player)

Today's progress of attempting to mesh-split the chunks based on angles- very very very very broken.

On a simple mesh like this everything seems decently fine. The only oddity is that the farthest corner (purple line) didn't split despite it having the same two triangles to compare.
-ohh cause... cause the code I'm using to check them is if they're connected by another vertex... and I just split the vertex it needs...
oh no that's why this is all broken probably

I want Pneumagination to be full of wacky bizarre midnight encounters when you close your store
Like aliens, entities, ghosts showing up to either get some grub or murder you. Faces in the window looking in or things hiding on your roof that'll give you some cool shit if you give them a specific thing.
I wanna have a shopping cart that just randomly drifts into your lot and hits a wall, maybe has some items in it. You can attempt to approach it but then it'll rapidly start wheeling away to escape and you gotta flip it over to stop it
Maybe you can bring in a comical bedsheet-ghost in who tips really good but if you look away from them at any point then they'll haunt your store for the day and fuck things up
Maybe if you serve enough aliens at night you'll become a galactic tourist destination and will be able to serve 24/7
I wanna get weird I wanna have fun and give the game an identity

Infinite World Generation!!!!!
Tons of progress on Pneumagination today. You can now walk around, lighting is improved, and chunks render infinitely! I FINALLY got over that big slump of work and now things are tangible!

hey if emulators are legal as long as they're a clean room design whats stopping everyone from shoving secret NES emulators in their games with cool homebrew stuff on them
like I'm gonna have arcades and computers in my game so why don't I just run them off some open source emulator so people can mod it with different roms
