Hi! I discovered Albion about a year ago and quickly became obsessed. I was looking at the family trees, and realized Elinor Gwynedd was basically the only appropriate marriageable female for Wart to marry. Was your plan for it to be King Arthur II and Queen Elinor? If it was, I can only imagine how ecstatic Babette would've been!! Anyway, I join the others in asking for a quick summary of your plans for Albion since you're not planning to continue it. Thank you!!! :)

Oh my god, Babette as the grandmother of future kings & queens of Albion ... Tommy would probably want to stick a fork in his eye at the very thought!

(Although for what it’s worth, I think Babette rolled up a rather early death date and would not have survived long enough to see grandchildren ... or her daughter become Queen of Albion or even Crown Princess.)

However, to answer your immediate question - I actually had not planned to put Wart and Elinor together! But that’s mostly because I didn’t have any wedding plans for either of them. They were both so little that I was keeping my options open for them.

But I did have some early matches made!

Morien Gwynedd + Marian Carpenter (Morien would grow up to be a bit of an asshole, like his father, but Marian would be the BIG GLARING exception. And admittedly, I chose Marian because it would make Babette have a conniption, whether or not she was around.)

Davy Pelles + Leah Brogan (I think that was pretty obviously telegraphed from the first time they were in a post together. But I’m a bit of a sucker for “childhood sweethearts.”)

Gawaine Orkney + Elise Pendragon (Even though Gawaine is and would be NOTHING LIKE HIS FATHER, Tommy would have hated that even if he couldn’t bear to see his little girl unhappy. Gawaine probably would have gotten a “you hurt her and they won’t even find the pieces of you” talk par excellence.)

Jack Andavri + Katie Brogan (I imagine that was obvious/telegraphed.)

Billy Thatcher + Rhoslyn Johnson (See above.)

Geoffrey Chausseur + Nyasha Ferrier (See above, also, there probably would have been a lot of pining/”how can we make this work when you’re indentured?” in that one, perhaps bailed out by Hopeless Romantic Freddy setting Nyasha loose from her indenture.)

Anja Jager + Lucas Pelles (I may have hinted that a TINY bit, but nothing would have happened until Lucas had some time to recover ... and Anja had some time to grow up.)

Erich Jager + Nellie Porter (I had some thoughts of a Beauty and the Beast-ish storyline, with Erich becoming a werewolf. But it was very nebulous and up in the air.)

Seumas Ruskin + Podrag Carey (Somehow. Not sure how I was gonna make that one work. I don’t think I would have had it all end in tears.)

Delyth Gwynedd + Mallebron (That was probably obvious.)

Cherry Andavri + Beau Lothario (That would have involved espionage! And smuggling! And ... various other exciting things. Plus Cherry insulting Beau seven ways to Sunday.)

Dindrane Orkney + Sister Margery (Because OF COURSE they would have gotten their happy ending, after Mordred was dead.)

Prince Uther of Glasonland + Princess Lucilla of Glasonland (Yeah, it was in Constantine’s master plan, but it would have actually been a love match. Unfortunately Viviette would not have lived to see it.)

SO.

In light of current events- Holly is going to be written out of future fics. This includes the roles she was going to play in the rewritten Swan Lake and Frankengrumps fics.

As for her pre-existing roles in fics like To Love A Beast, If I Never Knew You and more importantly Sea Grumps, I'm gonna try and tiptoe around not having her character be so prominent in the stories.

It's gonna be WAY harder for SG, since I already wrote a chapter a few days before everything was revealed and her role was going to be expanded on. But frankly, her as a person definitely isn't parallel to what I built for her as a written character.

So what I'll do is, post the Holly chapter for SG but from there, you'll be seeing less of her and more of Jimmy and Podrage when it comes to those trio stories.

Wish it didn't have to come to that, but I know people and myself will feel much better in knowing that I'm not ignoring the reality of what's going on irl and keeping someone who did a lot of wrong, in a story meant to be enjoyed by everyone.

Just letting everyone know again that, the upcoming chapter of Sea Grumps is a Holly/Jimmy/Podrage centered mini episode and was written like a MONTH before the whole debacle came to light. And once it's posted, less and less of Holly will be seen.

Because I got plans for her, don't worry about that...

Hey so I have a question: In Sea Grumps, wat is the time gap between the last Holly/Jimmy chapter and the more recent chapters? Since Penguin had to swim all the way to that island and according to Ross they're "A Bajillion miles from Port Jared"?

The time jump from those chapters to now is actually about...3-4 months. I don't really tell how much time passes around, but since Dan was a human for enough time to be able to walk better, Podrage to join up, and also for Penguin to get to the island, the time was short but enough for it to leave some kinda impact. So about 4 months or even 5 months later.Penguin swam pretty damn far o.o

Did Podrage and Penguin have a romance going on in your sea grumps story? One of the sentences translated to "Do you still love me, my little penguin?"

Ah see the thing is: Google Translate screwed me over with the translation. The real one is at the bottom of the chapter saying "Do you know of the one called Penguin?"If they DID have a romance, that WOULD be interesting but I'm leaning towards a different ship with Penguin. Podrage is off the dating table at the moment lol
