Abilityshipping? For the fan kid meme.

Name: Indigo

Gender: Male

General Appearance: Dark blue-violet hair that tends to stick up, warm brown eyes, and Ash's iconic "Z" markings on his cheeks. Fairly petit in stature, but stronger than his small size would indicate. Tends to dress in more formal, stylish clothing, similar to Anabel's, in an attempt to avoid people frequently thinking he's much younger than he actually is (though now he just gets a lot of 'oh how cute! a little kid wearing a little suit!).

Personality: He's fairly hesitant and even a bit passive. It takes a lot for him to stand up for himself and speak his mind. Since he was sheltered growing up, he's nervous around new people and isn't quite sure how to best make friends. Nevertheless, once he's calmed his anxiety, he's a fierce battler and has a strong wanderlust, dreaming of seeing the world one day (even if traveling is also a bit scary).

Special Talents: Indigo inherited Ash's ability to use aura, though rather than making barriers and other physical manifestations, his talent is in reading the auras of other living things. He can sense emotions, locate people, and even communicate to a degree with pokémon.

Who They Like Better: Don't make him choose!

Who They Take After More: Anabel! He's actually very similar to how Anabel was as a child, though there's no way for her parents to know that.

Personal Headcanon: His parents first properly met through a joint mission - Ash working for the G-Men, Anabel for Interpol (as an amnesiac Faller). They found they had a strong rapport, and greatly enjoyed getting to know each other (and having a few battles) during the downtime they got. Afterwards, they kept in touch and began trying to take further assignments that would let them interact, eventually starting a relationship. Indigo was an unexpected baby, but Anabel and Ash used the opportunity to both retire from active duty so they could raise him. Regardless, both were a teensy bit overprotective of him, having experienced the Horrors of the world firsthand themselves (multiple brushes with death and evil villains, losing entire pasts to wormholes, and that's not even getting into everything they dealt with on G-Men missions). Now that Indigo is older and wants to travel though, they're learning that they can't and shouldn't be so protective of him forever.

I think of the kids I’ve drawn recently, Jackson and Chelsea are the ones I’m most proud of! 

As for when you sent this, I think I was most proud of @pokeracer93 Vergil! I had forgotten how fun it was to draw another person’s fankid!

Holy cannoli UA Mixed Course Classes 1-X and 1-Y! It's your one (1) year anniversary! Well it would be if I didn't procrastinate working on this so much,,, But on a more serious note, KNHA has probably been one of the best things I've ever had the pleasure of working on, and I owe a lot to it and all the people involved in helping me get out of my shell a little bit and had helped me improve my art a lot! And I'm glad I've had the chance to have interacted with a lot of really cool people, and I hope we can work on some more cool stuff with them in the future.

Cupcakes for Sato-sensei!

“YAMADA-SAN!” They immediately flinch as they hear the back door of the Ambrosia Cafe slam open.

“W-Watanabe-chan, do be careful with the door!” Hikari Yamada yelps as Michiko stumbles in, barely adjusting the ribbons on her uniform,”Why are you shouting all of a sudden?!”

“I need something sweet.” was the response,”I know we have those cute cupcakes with the faces! Can I take some, please? You can even take out a bit from my paycheck!”

“Slow down, slow down!” Hikari grabs a hold of her hands,”First off, take a deep breath and calm down.”

A beat of silence, but she complies, taking a deep breath and exhaling, feeling her shoulders relax.

“Good.” They sigh,”Second, kindly explain why you suddenly took an interest in the cupcakes?”

“...” they see her face flush and mumble,”...Its my teacher’s birthday... I wanted to bring cupcakes for my class... p...please don’t be mad...”

...

Hikari couldn’t help but burst out into laughter at that, to Michiko’s confusion and fluster. The older man slapped their knee and kept on laughing for a solid minute until he was wheezing and on his knees. The woman was less than amused.

“Yamada-san, this is serious!”

“I know!” They straighten up, laughing still,”Its just... oh Michichi... do you really think I’d be mad?”

“...yes?”

He laughed even more for a bit before finally relaxing,”Michichi... oh sweetheart... I’d never be mad at something so sweet...! Of course you can make cupcakes for your class!”

Michiko’s face lit up,”Really?!”

“Of course!” Hikari grins,”Free of charge! Just ah... don’t tell Yuna and Riku...”

She races over, hugging the larger man in glee,”YES! Thank you thank you SO MUCH!”

“Okay okay! Don’t thank me like this.” They grin, giving her head a pat,”Thank me with how you’re making these cupcakes!”

“Alright! By the way, do you have any motor oil at the moment?”

“...excuse me?”

Four boxes of six and three individuals. Michiko hummed cheerily as she carried them to the class, setting them on her desk and waited for their teacher to come in. It’s admittedly kind of nerve-wrecking. What if someone didn’t like their cupcake? What if she got the flavors wrong? She really hoped she didn’t flub some perfectly good cupcakes, especially the one for Manami (the trial and error on that one!).

“Watanabe.”

“Mm! Yes, Sensei?”

“Mind...” Sato looked at the boxes with a raised eyebrow,”What’s all this?”

“Oh! Well...” Michiko stood up, before setting the boxes all up and opening to revealed the contents. Each cupcake was tailored in flavor from base to topping to fit the recipient and they have little details that indicated who got what.

“Since I heard it’s your birthday...” She holds out the box containing the cupcake meant for her teacher,”I thought I’d make some cupcakes for you and for everyone, courtesy of Ambrosia Cafe!” She grins,”Happy Birthday, Osamu-sensei!”

I CANT DRAW OR FIND A PICREW SO UNFORTUNATELY YOU’LL HAVE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE CUPCAKES LOOK LIKE YOURSELVES (SORRY >.<) BUT I CAN GIVE LITTLE DETAILS:

-Manami’s is oil and orange flavored!

-Jetsam’s is all cute and pastel because she remembered how cute his shoes were when she first saw him.

-The 26th cupcake isn’t for her, it’s actually for Toshinori! She didn’t make a cupcake for herself...

-has bags under her eyes, yea she literally spent all night making these cupcakes (ofc she had help but still)

-There is at least one gumball in Jiro’s for the joke

Fankid Week 2023 Day 6 - Friends / Other’s Kids / Fears

With the end of Ash's journey closing in it inspired me to try and do a pic with Ash and various fankids people have made for him.  I wanted to add many many more kids but I've reached my limit so no more for now!!  I was kind of trying to choose people who gave him bigger families but mostly it was just who I had time to add.
