Oooo omega luke is funnnn
I’m a big fan of “non-traditional” dynamics,,,
Luke Reggie and Alex all being omegas who help each other through their heats with no alpha needed 👀
Okay but my brain immediately thought of like 'NO IT'S MY TURN TO WEAR THE FAKE KNOT'. (Of course they only have one that shit is expensive.)
The real question is what's worse, if they all get their heat at the same time, or if it's staggered like, it's just two weeks of non-stop boning every couple of months.

Adopting a pet for Reggie/anyone because you know I gotta prompt that
When Reggie was a kid, he begged and pleaded for a dog. Promised to walk it, feed it, whatever it needed, if only he could have a puppy. But his mother always came up with an excuse to say no, until finally stopped asking.
He'd get a puppy when he was older.
Only when Reggie was older he could only afford places that didn't allow pets. Or with roommates who were allergic. Or on tour with the band, so any pet he got would end up in kennels more often than not.
Finally, the band was taking a break, they had a big house to live in, and Reggie asked. "Can we get a dog?"
Luke and Alex exchanged glances. "I dunno buddy, a dog is a lot of work," Alex replied.
"And we'll be back on the road before long..." Luke added.
"Oh," Reggie replied, deflated. "Never mind, it was stupid of me to ask."
"Um, no, it wasn't," Alex said. "I would love to get a dog, it's just hard when we're so busy."
"But we can do it!" Luke said. "Heck, maybe we can bring him on tour with us! Dogs love road trips!"
"Really?" Reggie asked, brightening up. "You mean it?"
"Of course sunshine," Alex replied.
"Can we go right now?" Reggie asked, bouncing with excitement.
"Whoa babe, I think we need to talk about logistics first," Luke replied. Reggie pouted, but conceded that was fair, and they sat back down.
They decided they wanted a smaller dog, and from a shelter, not a store. That it would be Reggie's dog, but both of his boyfriends would happily help him take care of it. But Alex put his foot down about getting a puppy.
"I know they're cute and all Reg, but I think we want one that's already housebroken and a little bit trained, just to avoid having the house destroyed," he argued.
"We don't have to get a senior dog, but one that is not a wild ball of energy would probably be best,": Luke chimed in. "We have you for that."
"Hey!" Reggie protested, but then sank back down. "That's fair."
They went out that afternoon and got a few supplies, nothing excessive, because Reggie wanted to take his new pet to the store to pick things out and get a feel for his or her personality before choosing anything important. Alex and Luke chuckled at that, but decided that was fair. It wasn't like they didn't have the money after all.
Later that week they finally made their way to the shelter, Reggie a nervous ball of energy, almost jumping down the path towards the shelter. Luke hugged him from behind to keep him still, and Alex guiding his breathing until he calmed down a little.
"Sorry," he said once he was not close to hyperventilating. "It's just I've wanted a dog since I was a kid, and my mom always said no. So it's like... a big day to have your childhood dream realized."
"Babe..." Luke crooned, kissing his cheek while Alex ruffled his hair. "Come on, let's go meet some puppers."
The afternoon was one of Reggie's life. He met so many dogs, all of them adorable and happy to be met. The hard part was choosing just one!
"I have one more for you," the shelter employee said. "He's a little shy, and he's been here a while, but... I think he might be the one."
She brought out a timid little beagle, who saw Reggie and immediately started wagging his stub of a tail. Reggie cooed at him, sitting on the floor and extended a hand for the dog to sniff. He came over cautiously, and then gave Reggie's hand a very sloppy kiss before flopping down for some belly rubs. Reggie gave a delighted laugh before burying his hands in the soft white fur.
Only then he found the scar running the length of the dog's abdomen, and looked up at the employee. "We found him in a trap," she said. "He lost some kidney function, so he needs special food, and he's got a tiny limp. Makes him harder to home."
"Not anymore," Reggie said resolute. "He's coming home with us."
"You sure Reg?" Alex asked, scratching behind the dog's ears, smiling when the dog's back legs gave a little kick.
Luke sat on the other side, joining Reggie in the belly rub. "He is pretty darn cute."
"Yeah, he's mine," Reggie said. "Aren't you Snoopy?"
"Snoopy? Really?" Alex asked.
"He's a beagle!" Reggie said.
"It's a perfect name for him," Luke said. "Let's get the paperwork and bring him home."
"You hear that bud?" Reggie asked. "You're coming home with me!"
Snoopy gave a happy little bork in response, making the three guys grin. They brought him home later that day, bedecked in a bunch of Peanut merch, and he had his run of their place, their tour bus, and their hearts from then on.

“Damn I got blood on my shirt” for polyphantoms?
“Luke? Luke?”
Luke couldn’t tell whose voice drifted to him through the foggy darkness of his mind. Where the hell was he? He was laying on a cold hard surface of some sort, an uneven surface based on whatever was jabbing into his back.
“Luke!” Luke groaned as the shout ricocheted painfully around his head. Luke painfully blinked his eyes open. Based on the voices he was finally registering the blurry figures hovering above him were Reggie and Alex.
“Oh thank god.” Reggie shakily exhaled, his face red and blotchy once Luke’s vision focused again. Tears pooled at the edges of his stormy sea eyes. Alex’s face had gone pale, his lips a thin tight line.
Luke moaned louder, involuntarily wincing at the pains and aches that shot through him as he tried to sit up. A good look around and he was outside, some sort of woodsy area he wasn’t familiar with.
“Damn I got blood on my shirt?” Luke muttered after looking himself over. He tried to find a memory to explain away the blood but all he could find was sore muscles in his legs. Had he been running?
Alex’s eyes went wide, eyebrows shooting towards his hairline. His grip on Luke’s shoulder. “Your shirt? Are you fucking serious?”
“Why wou-” Luke started to form a question hoping he could figure out what he wanted to ask as the words left him. He didn’t even get to do that much as Reggie roughly pushed his shoulder. Luke gasped at the pain, “What the hell?”
“You’re so stupid.” Reggie sputtered out and shoved Luke’s shoulder again, before Alex swooped in to hold him back. “Rule number one, don’t go out alone. Never go out alone.”
Memories slowly clicked into place. The deer he’d spotted, an answer to their dwindling food supply. The uncertainty he’d ever be able to find it again coupled with a possible overconfidence in his rusty hunting ability.
Then the fear and panic as he’d stumbled too far into territory he’d never seen. The howls and whistles that signaled he wasn’t the only hunter out that night. Te grateful relief he had actually ignored rule number one and Reggie and Alex would be safe at least.
Luke was pulled from his thoughts when Reggie broke free of Alex’s grip and tackled Luke into a tight hug. A pained whine escaped him. As much as he usually appreciated hugs especially from Reggie, he was still extremely sore from his whirlwind survival adventure.
“We can’t lose you. I just got you, I won't lose you.” Reggie sobbed into Luke’s neck. Luke glanced at Alex who grimaced, before gently wrapping his own arms around the both of them.
Luke pressed a kiss he hoped came across as reassuring to the side of Reggie’s head, as he gingerly wrapped one of his sore arms around the back of his neck. He wanted so desperately to promise Reggie and Alex the world but he wasn’t sure if he could. Not with how the world currently was.
Another glance towards Alex and Luke could see, he shared in his hesitation. Alex leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to Luke’s forehead and then to the top of Reggie’s head. Luke’s hand moved to pat the back of Reggie’s head with what little strength he had left in his arm.
“I’m right here, Reggie. Alex and I are both still right here.” It was the best Luke could give.

“I’m never doing that again.” for Alex/anyone because I can hear him say it
Either Alex’s friends have no idea how kissing works, or it’s exactly as gross as they made it sound. He furiously wipes Luke’s spit off of his face, ignoring the way he squawks in offense.
“Okay, I’m never doing that again. Why do adults like it so much?”
Reggie rolls over, crowding half on top of Alex because there’s nowhere else to go. Luke’s bed is barely big enough for the three of them, anymore. His arm drapes over Alex’s chest as he grins, flashing his braces, and his mouth’s still all red and raw from Luke’s sloppy demonstration. He’d made this noise like he hadn’t minded, had enjoyed it, even, which was the only reason Alex had let Luke anywhere near his lips, after.
Alex hadn’t liked how wet it was, how messy, but—he likes the mess it made of Reggie’s mouth.
Ugh, it doesn’t make any sense. Still—he can’t stop looking at Reggie’s lips as he speaks.
“I dunno, I mostly figured it would hurt, with the metal and all. It wasn’t that bad, though—”
Luke makes another offended noise, burying his face in Alex’s shoulder.
“Thanks for the vote of confidence, guys. Rock stars are supposed to be good at this stuff!”
“‘S’alright, Lu.” Reggie rubs Luke’s back. “Even rock stars have to start somewhere. I’m sure if we keep trying we can reach rock star levels! We couldn’t play well right away, either.”
“You basically could,” Luke whines, which is true.
Reggie picked up bass guitar fast, then banjo from his grandpa, and he’s been fiddling with Luke’s acoustic, lately. He’s sort of insanely talented like that. He blushes at Luke’s words.
“Okay, maybe, but I wasn’t perfect right away. And I don’t have your—intensity. You played under your fingers bled and basically put your soul into that guitar! You put it into everything.”
Luke lifts his head with a grin. “Really?”
“Yeah,” Reggie squeaks. He clears his throat. “I mean—I could tell you really wanted to kiss me. And you’re always really warm. So—some of it was nice. I’d let you kiss me again.”
Luke smirks, but at least he doesn’t wiggle his eyebrows.
“You haven’t kissed Alex yet, though.”
Wait a frickin’ second. He feels his own cheeks flood with heat.
“Didn’t I just say—”
“Come on Alex, it was my first kiss,” Luke says exasperatedly. “Kisses, whatever. In theory it’s super easy! Just—try a few more times before you decide that you don’t like it. Maybe we’ll get the hang of it, and then you will! Plus, Reggie’s lips are really soft.”
Reggie squeaks again, a cute little eep, and his gaze skitters away as he rolls his lip between his teeth, as if he needs to test Luke’s claim for himself.
Alex has to admit that it’s tempting. If Reggie wasn’t laying on his arm, he’d touch his face.
“Okay. We can kiss if you want to, Reggie.”
His eyes snap back to Alex’s, round with disbelief and something like joy. His face is still pink, though his lips aren’t quite so red this time when he smiles.
“Of course I want to kiss you, Lexi.”
Alex is the one to brush their lips together to hide the way he melts, but it doesn’t really work.
This—is better. Luke was right—Reggie’s lips are soft, and he’s still smiling. Alex tries not to press too hard on account of Reggie’s braces, because—you’re supposed to do something with your mouth, right? But this light amount of pressure, the sweet skim of his mouth on Reggie’s—it’s sort of nice. He’d dare to call it good, even.
It’s safe to say that Reggie picks up kissing first too, even with the handicap of his braces. Alex never lets Luke live it down—someone needs to keep him humble amidst all the fame.

Alex looked at him for a long moment before he said, "Why exactly are you stopping me from entering our apartment this time?"
Thanks, hunny!! <3 (changed it from 'him' to 'them' because polyphantoms ;D)
Alex looked at them for a long moment before he said: "Why exactly are you stopping me from entering our apartment this time?"
Luke and Reggie exchanged guilty looks and squirmed, Reggie fiddling with his cuffs and Luke rubbing the back of his neck.
"It was supposed to be a surprise," Reggie ventured.
Luke snorted. "Yeah, it's a surprise now all right." He chuckled but quickly cleared his throat and looked down at his shoes.
Alex inhaled impatiently through his nose and crossed his arms.
"What did you do?"
He was trying his best to keep his voice even but both Luke and Reggie flinched slightly. Alex was as yet undecided whether to feel guilty about that. It entirely depended on the state of their apartment.
Luke shuffled a step forward, angling his body in front of Reggie, and put on one of his trademark charming grins as he looked up at Alex. Still, Alex could see the corners of his lips tremble slightly and the fists that were clenching and unclenching by his side didn't really sell confidence either.
"So ... you like glitter, right?" Luke said, dialling up the grin some more, just stopping shy of manic.
"Luke ...," Alex's tone was a warning but inside his mind, visions of an apartment absolutely covered in glitter were swirling ever faster into a pink tornado of chaos. They would never get all of that stuff out! He would have to throw away all of his things. They'd never get the deposit back. They'd--
He gulped and pushed past his boyfriends to open up the door to their apartment, needing to see the horror for himself.
Only there was no glitter. There was also no view of their apartment because the space immediately behind their door was covered not in minute pink particles but a large number of very large boxes.
"So apparently we messed up the order ," Reggie's voice managed to both convey contrition and terror as he explained from behind Alex, "and they won't take them back!"
Luke squeezed past Alex and partly obscured his view of the boxes.
The grin on Luke's face seemed to hang on for dear life, as Luke spread out his arms and asked: "So how do you feel about a side hustle as a glitter vendor?"

it’s been 2 years since jatp came out and ya girl is feeling sad today. i went through my google drive again since i missed wip wednesday last week (and went in a different direction this week) and found the oldest jatp fic idea i came up with (from november 2020 rip) and thought today was a good day to share it.
i don’t remember when it occurred to me that our three favorite ghosts missed the entirety of warped tour but it must’ve been around the same time i came up with this idea (i know i made a post about it but i can’t be bothered to find it), because they would’ve fucking loved warped tour.
so. enjoy three idiots falling in love during warped tour (plus bobby who loves them all but Not Like That). (also sorry this plotline is far less detailed than usual, i meant to go back and flesh it out but. i didn’t.)
so if they play the orpheum in 1995 then by all accounts they get signed to an indie label sometime that year (bc it's about the MUSIC yes ok luke we get it) and spend the rest of 95/maybe part of 96 recording an album and going on tour as a supporting act for … someone?? idk it doesn't really matter
BUT WHAT DOES MATTER IS THAT AT SOME POINT THEY GO ON WARPED TOUR FOR THE WHOLE SUMMER and their record label gets them a big ol tour bus bc by that point they're probably doing fairly well all things considered??
so the actual year they go on warped tour doesn't really matter bc the lineup was absolutely WILD back in the day but let's just say it's maybe like 1997 or something so they're at least 19 years old??
while on warped tour luke and reggie (and also bobby but lbr this ain't about him ok) probably hook up with their fair share of girls and are always flirting up a storm meanwhile alex like kind of tries to talk to guys but is really awkward and nervous about it because nobody else is like Out and he doesn't want to get into any bad situations!! so like he kind of starts to pull back from hanging out with the others in the evenings and makes excuses so he doesn't have to be around the other guys while they're flirting it up!
until one night when luke and reggie actually realize that alex is just disappearing every night and going to the bus by himself and being weird and alone so they follow him back and try to find out what's going on but alex is like no guys it's fine i'm fine you don't have to babysit me but they refuse to take no for an answer until alex finally admits that he's just feeling a little left out is all because they're all getting to just be normal and he doesn't feel like he can do the same :(
so then luke and reggie decide to become his wingmen (despite alex's many objections) and make it their mission to find someone for alex to hook up with!!
but of course it doesn't go according to plan and they end up encouraging alex to go up to this one guy who turns out to be very much NOT gay and he starts roughing alex up bc he's obviously a huge jerk and so luke and reggie get involved and luke ends up getting punched in the face and so reggie and alex take him back to the bus to clean him up and reggie runs off to get supplies which leaves alex and luke alone and alex starts to apologize because he thinks this is all his fault and he never should've agreed to any of this!! and luke obviously is like no wtf this is absolutely not your fault it's MY fault i never should've encouraged you to go after that guy he's clearly an asshole and you deserve better!!!
and maybe alex gets a lil bashful and sorta sad bc he hasn't told the other guys this but he actually hasn't kissed a guy before!!! and when he tells luke this he's like ok but you deserve to have a first kiss with someone who really cares about you which then ofc this ends up with luke and alex kissing bc reasons.
but then reggie comes back and is very confused about what's happening but then also is very (horny) upset that he wasn't involved!! "is this what we're doing now???" and when alex and luke try to explain that it didn't really mean anything he just deflates and looks very sad about it which only leads to more questions and then reggie admits that he's sad about being left out because if they're going to experiment with each other then he feels like he should at least be present for it!! (and also involved bc reggie has to be involved in everything) (he's just a grumpy baby when he's left out ok) and so then alex is like "wait… you want to kiss me?? and luke??" and reggie's just like "IDK MAYBE YEAH I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M FEELING RIGHT NOW BUT THAT WAS HOT SO LIKE DON'T JUDGE ME OKAY"
and thus the ot3 is born and they start lowkey hooking up with each other but at first it's probably just making out and maybe some over-the-clothes touching for a week and then it progresses to more touching and probably hand jobs or something idk we'll work it out later.
but they don't tell bobby bc it's not really a Thing it's just something that happens sometimes but obv eventually he probably catches them in an awkward position and they fully expect him to blow up at them or something but in reality he's just like ".........ok so this is a thing?" and then they sort of have to admit that yeah it's a thing and he's like "ok cool i'm definitely straight so you guys just… do you. or each other. whatever." and just like leaves lol

Reggie for the ask game
First impression
he’s just a little guy, so dorky and silly. I loved him from the very first scene
Impression now
he’s a traumatized little guy in my mind now. Fanfiction has influenced me WAY too much. He’s still very much my favorite character though <3
Favorite moment
the chemistry scene with Luke. Hands down my favorite Reggie scene
Idea for a story
I have fleeting thoughts occasionally about writing more polyphantoms just showering Reggie with love when when they go on a date, but otherwise I’ve sapped my ideas up from writing countless fics deep in my hyperfixation lol
Unpopular opinion
Reggie doesn’t need to be paired up with someone. He doesn’t need a romantic relationship to be a great character (for the 2020 timeline. 1995 and past timeline is a different story)
Favorite relationship
Polycule! Reggie, Luke, and Alex is my favorite Reggie ship
Favorite headcanon
That Luke and Reggie were childhood friends from primary school and on!
thanks so much for this ask!! Reggie still holds such a special place in my heart even though I’m not active in jatp as much anymore, so this was really fun to do :)

Alternatively, polyphantoms + willie finding out they can still get ghost drunk and ensuing shenanigans (and presumably sloppy makeouts)
They’d all tired of Luke’s complaints about not being able to eat food now they were ghosts long before Luke gave up voicing them. It was especially bad when Tia Victoria brought over particularly delicious smelling food, and Luke would linger just out of sight to watch the family eat then return to Reggie and Alex to bemoan their inability to enjoy food themselves.
Though people could see them now, they made sure not to join them at dinner time, since Luke couldn’t keep his mouth shut, and it was truly hard to sit and watch other people savor something you never would, ever again.
Luke was in the middle of one of his usual rants when Willie turned up; Reggie was combing Luke’s hair softly away from his face in the hopes it would distract him from what he was missing—no such luck as of yet. Alex was laying with his head tipped over the back of his chair, most likely tuning them out, but he leapt up, face alight, when Willie appeared.
“What’s wrong with him?” Willie asked, and Luke groaned.
“I miss food. I think it was worse that Caleb had the ability to let us eat, rather than never eating at all again after we died.”
“Oh,” Willie sighed. “I miss that, too.” Then he brightened. “But guess what we can still do!”
Luke sat up, his hair wild and standing on end from Reggie’s fingers. “What?”
“We can still drink!” Willie grinned, and even though Luke hadn’t been much of a drinker in life, he whooped.
“Are you serious, man? That’s awesome.”
“Yeah, so awesome,” Alex commented dryly. He’d never really enjoyed their forays into drinking, but Reggie could see that he was interested. They missed food as much as Luke did, they just didn’t moan about it all the time. Reggie certainly didn't miss hangovers, though, which was why he'd never been that keen on drinking.
As if he was reading Reggie’s mind, Willie said, “and you know the best part? No hangovers!”
Alex’s face cleared, and he cheered as loudly as Luke and Reggie. While there were a few perks of being a ghost, sometimes the drawbacks really weighed them down.
“Hang on, I’ll be back in a few,” Willie said, and disappeared with a whirl of his long hair.
Luke bounced with barely concealed excitement, and Reggie’s blood fizzed in his veins. He hoped Willie was finding something tasty for them to drink. He didn’t fancy being forced to drink something gross like whisky or rum. He briefly remembered the night he’d gotten wasted on rum after a gig, and how utterly wretched he’d felt the next day. He hadn’t been able to face it since. Just the smell made him gag.
When Willie popped back in, he was carrying two full bags, the cloth of them straining with their contents.
“Were you planning a party?” Alex asked. Willie blushed.
“I may have gotten a little over excited. It’s just… I’ve never had anyone to drink with before. It’s lonely drinking without friends.”
They all went silent for a moment, thinking about Willie, all alone, tricked by Caleb, and friendless.
“Better get this party started then,” Reggie said, anxious to clear the sour mood. Willie sent him a grateful look, then set down the bags and began to empty them. A bottle of bright green liquid caught Reggie’s eye and he crowed excitedly.
“Midori!” He loved midori, it tasted amazing, and he liked that he didn’t have to dilute it with anything if he didn’t want to.
Luke snorted, then muttered an apology when Alex sent him a cutting look.
“We’re in a no-judgment zone, Luke,” he warned, and Luke rolled his eyes, but nodded anyway.
“It’s okay, I know it’s not a manly drink,” Reggie said, and poured himself a decent glass of it. The knowledge that it wouldn’t cause a hangover led to a heavy hand.
“Manly,” Alex scoffed. “Who gives a shit about what’s manly. Being a man is enough, what you choose to wear or consume doesn’t affect that.”
“Yes, yes. I know. I’m sorry. It was a stupid, instinctive reaction. I’m working on it.”
Willie watched them all quietly, and Reggie tipped his drink his way before taking a healthy gulp. It burned a little on the way down and he gasped.
“Wow, I’d forgotten how that felt.”
Willie grinned and returned the gesture, sipping his own drink and relaxing back in his chair. Luke sorted out his drink, rejoicing when he found a straw, so he could lay back in Reggie’s lap and still consume it. Reggie let his fingers wind back into Luke’s hair as the alcohol settled in his stomach, already feeling warm and a little tingly. He wondered idly if his tolerance had been returned to zero, and if it would return now that he was drinking again. He wasn’t sure which he hoped for.
“We should play a game,” Luke announced, sucking noisily at his drink. Reggie looked quickly away from his lips pursed around the straw and caught Willie’s eye. Willie smirked and took another drink without breaking eye contact.
“Like truth or dare?” Willie suggested, still holding Reggie’s gaze. Reggie felt himself flushing, and finally looked away. He finished his glass and hoped the trembling of his hand wasn’t noticeable as he refilled it.
“Ooh, yeah! I mean, I know most of these doofus’ secrets already, but who knows what they’ve been keeping from me. And we don’t know much about you at all,” Luke said, twisting in Reggie’s lap to look at Willie. Willie grinned and caught Reggie’s eye again.
“You definitely don’t know all my secrets,” Reggie said, without thinking.
“Oooh, challenge accepted!” Luke pushed himself up and crossed his legs under himself. “Should we start with you, then?”
“Maybe I’ll just choose dare,” he said, willing his blush to fade.
Luke grinned, shark-like. “Even better.”
Reggie groaned and took another swig of his drink. Maybe if he was drunk enough, none of it would matter. He was starting to worry a little about the knowing glint in Willie’s eye.
“Luke, don’t be a dick,” Alex chimed in, and Luke pressed his hand to his chest with a gasp.
“Me? Never.”
Alex rolled his eyes, but he was smiling fondly.
“So, Reg. Truth or dare?”
“Ugh, fine. Truth.”
“Who was your first kiss?”
Reggie’s blush returned with a vengeance. He looked down at his glass so he wouldn’t accidentally catch Willie’s eye again. “You.”
“What? Really?” Luke sounded startled, and Reggie chanced a look at him and he was staring back at Reggie, eyes wide. Reggie couldn’t stop his own traitorous eyes from finding Willie’s. Willie was grinning. But there was something in his gaze that loosened the tightness in Reggie’s chest, and he let out a heavy breath.
“Yeah. We were 14, and you—”
“No, I remember. I just didn’t know that was your first kiss.” Luke was blushing now, too.
“Jeez, Luke, you get around. You were my first kiss, too,” Alex said, but his voice was light, rather than recriminating. Willie’s gaze sharpened at that, and his smile grew into a smirk. Reggie wondered what he was planning.
“Well, if it makes you feel any better, you were also mine,” Luke offered, sharing a loaded look with Alex. Reggie still couldn’t look away from Willie, and Willie licked his lips.
“So, I’m the only one here who hasn’t kissed Luke, huh? Pity I don’t get a first kiss from him, too.” Willie rose and covered the couple of steps to the couch and dropped to his knees in front of Luke. “But that’s not really the point, is it?”
“Uh,” Luke laughed, a little shakily. “Are we still playing the game?”
“Do I need to dare you to do it?” Willie countered, and Luke stared at him for a long moment.
“No.” He leaned down, curling the fingers of his free hand around the back of Willie’s neck, and drew him in. For a few moments it was soft and slow, their lips moving gently together, then Luke made a small noise in the back of his throat and Reggie saw a flash of Willie’s tongue, and they were kissing, properly. The silence of the room was broken by the soft, wet sounds of their lips and tongues meeting and Reggie shivered. His first kiss with Luke had been nothing like that.
Reggie had no idea how much time passed before they broke apart, each of them breathing heavily, and he shivered again when Willie licked his lips. They were shiny from their mingled spit.
“Oh,” Alex said. Reggie looked over, and he was staring, his cheeks pink.
“Come over here, Alex,” Willie said, and Alex moved, seemingly without thinking, joining Willie on his knees in front of Reggie. “Did you kiss Reggie, too?”
Alex peeked up at Reggie, his blush deepening. “No, we never did.”
“Well?” Willie said gently, and Alex pushed up onto his knees and tilted his head, holding Reggie’s gaze. He felt a little disconnected, floaty, the alcohol buzzing through him. He wasn’t even corporeal anymore, but it felt like his whole body was alive.
“Reg?” For a moment it was just the two of them, Alex’s sea green eyes the only thing he could see. He nodded absently, and tilted forward to meet Alex’s mouth. Alex’s hands came up to cup his cheeks, stroking softly as their lips met. Reggie clung to Alex’s shoulders, to keep himself from falling further, to steady himself. Alex didn’t wait like Willie and Luke had, his tongue slick at the seam of Reggie’s lips, teasing them open easily, dipping inside.
Reggie’s head spun, from the kiss, from the alcohol, from Willie’s eyes on him all night. He wasn’t sure. He just let himself fall into the kiss, dragged his tongue against Alex’s until they both moaned.
Alex broke the kiss but pressed his forehead to Reggie’s, letting them both recover before facing Luke and Willie. Reggie felt warm, a little squirmy in his belly, and caressed the tips of his fingers across the lines of Alex’s shoulders until he leaned back.
“God,” Luke said.
Reggie flopped back on the couch, his spine unable to support him. He hummed, and groped for his drink on the table beside the couch. He took a fortifying drink before looking at the others.
Willie’s eyes were as intent as ever, but they were sparkling with mischief now, and Reggie couldn’t help smiling back. Willie seemed to take this as an invitation, and eased Alex back and out of the way, then he was climbing onto the couch and settling in Reggie’s lap.
“Was this your plan all along?” Reggie murmured. Willie grinned and eased the glass from Reggie’s hand, taking a small sip. He made a face at the sweetness, but then leaned in and pressed their mouths together. Reggie gasped, and Willie pressed in, trickling the alcohol from his tongue onto Reggie’s. It made their kiss sticky and sweet, and Reggie enjoyed the way it faded slowly, revealing Willie’s own taste, the mingling of each of theirs together.
“This was my plan all along,” Willie said quietly, into Reggie’s mouth. “None of you are subtle.”
Reggie slipped his hand up into Willie’s hair and tangled his fingers in the silky strands, pulling Willie in deeper, tilting their heads to smooth the way.
“It was a good plan. Ten out of ten.” Willie grinned at him and dropped a kiss to the tip of his nose, and then turned together to watch Luke and Alex meet in the middle, Luke sliding off the couch into Alex’s lap.
“I do love it when a plan comes together,” Willie quipped, and Reggie laughed.

20 questions writer meme!
Tagged by @onlygenxhere, Thanks! :)
1. How many works do you have on AO3? 12 (I'm still just a bebe writer)
2. What's your total AO3 word count? 106,918
3. What fandoms do you write for? Julie and the Phantoms
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
The Phantoms Watch JatP: I am actually so, so proud of this one and have been considering rereading it for myself because I know I did some really funny shit. It's like the title says but they're in a QPR and aged up quite a few years. It was my very first ever fanfic and I'm happy that it led me to writing as much as I do now.
I'm Underneath the Undertow: This has been such a labour of love and a processing device for some really traumatic shit in my life and I'm so happy that others are enjoying reading it. Basic premise is Reggie supporting Julie through grief (in a platonic friendship - this is important to me) and then Julie and the rest of their friends (and Ray) supporting Reggie through major trauma.
Gem in a Black Leather Jacket: I still can't believe how this one came about. This entire series exists because I was trying to find an organic way for the boys to be introduced to a band I love and connect to them and then it spiraled fantastically. This was such a fun way for me to play with Reggie's bi crisis.
Neurotic to the Bone, No Doubt About it: Some Alex backstory and bonding with Julie wrapped up in the band's love of Green Day and Pansy Division. Also the result of aforementioned band introduction attempt.
Hit Like a Girl: My newest addition to the same band-related series and it was a lot of fun. I wanted a way to plug some women rockers I love, complain about algorithms 😅, and make Carrie a closet metalhead.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? YES! Gosh, I appreciate comments so much and for me, receiving ao3 emails about a writer replying to one of my comments is often almost as great as receiving an email about a comment of my own.
6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? This is complicated but technically I guess Underneath the Undertow? Even though it doesn't end on angst but there isn't like... a happy resolution to the big trauma. Most of my endings are probably just neutral? I don't actually know (feelings are hard for me).
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Hmmm... I guess probably The Phantoms Watch JatP? I only have one plot-driven fic so far but this one ends with a cuddle pile sleepover iirc.
8. Do you get hate on fics? – Not yet. I don't really know whether to expect any or not but I do wrap my politic into my writing so I'm preparing for it to happen eventually. Hopefully with the shrunken fandom I'm safe? We'll see.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Negatory. I've found my way back to reading it but I don't think writing it is within my skillset or comfort zone.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written? omg. I'm actually so mad about this. No. I have not. Yet. But a dear mutual (whom I will not tag without their permission) has put a crossover idea into my brain and I HATE IT but it will probably get written eventually so it can leave me in peace.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not to my knowledge
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? No
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Not yet but I am in the middle of one exploring asexuality that I may co-write with an allo friend because there are too many things I don't think I understand well enough to write how I want to. We shall see. I'm also a bit of a control freak so the premise terrifies me a little bit but also seems fun.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship? Oof. Within JatP only? For canon compliant, probably Juke or Rayvorose (I will fight you, I said compliant)? But gosh, I love Willex too. The longer I spend in the fandom, the more ships I love. Polycurve and polyphantoms? Adore. Flarrie. Boggie.
15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? I don't have high hopes for the one based on an old band vlog. I keep toying around with how to make it work but I think a lot of what I find funny or want to use for the Sunset Curve boys requires video. We'll see though. I thought I'd never get anywhere with my 'Bad Bobby' fic and now I'm... a whole lotta words in.
16. What are your writing strengths? I don't like this question. Not just because I don't know how to compliment myself but because I genuinely do not know. Maybe someone who's read my stuff can share their opinion.
17. What are your writing weaknesses? I struggle with connecting scenes and endings. I'm sure there's other stuff too but honestly same note as above. Oh. And titles.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? If it's something I can easily google (not translate but actually get context for) without falling into a deep rabbit hole, I'll do it. But I would generally prefer not to.
19. First fandom you wrote for? JatP
20. Favorite fic you've written? Oh. Like of ALL of them or just what's on ao3 so far? Because I'm quite fond of some of my little Tumblr ficlets... 🤔 I need better guidelines! If we go for >1k... AH I still don't know. I'm just gonna say The Phantoms watch Julie and the Phantoms cuz it's been on my brain lately.
I'm not going to tag anyone directly but if you see this and want to write one up, please pretend I did (and tag me so I can read it?). I get really in my head about not missing anyone or tagging someone who doesn't want to be tagged so to avoid that, I'm gonna skip this step.

"I'm sorry I made you worry." for whatever rarepair you're vibing today?
Out of the three of them, Alex is the worrier. He blames it on his anxiety, his mind coming up with every terrible end result and possibility. Sometimes it's a good thing, keeping them from eating dodgy street dogs or signing up for the label that only wants their song rights but not them. Other times Luke and Reggie roll their eyes at him, with a yes mom, and go about riding the rickety roller coaster at Venice Beach or busking outside the clubs on the strip.
Okay, Alex knows he's overly cautious. His brain in convinced of only bad happening, and then it starts to spiral. The meds had helped, but now that he's out from under his parent's roof, and unfortunately, no longer covered by their insurance, anxiety medication is a little outside his price range. Luke offered to steal them, but it's a bit harder to swipe a prescription than it is a bottle of cold syrup like they did when Reggie caught a cold a few months back.
Right now their money has to go towards food, and rent on their shitty little studio apartment slash rehearsal space. Plus if they need prescriptions filled, he'd rather make sure Reggie's Epi-Pen is up to date or Luke's inhaler is still valid over something to calm his racing thoughts. He can usually pace the anxiety out, having a good long walk to quiet his brain.
Until one day, head down, he didn't see where he was going.
And the car came out of nowhere.
When he woke up, he was sore everywhere, and could see his left leg was in a cast, right up to his thigh. He doubted he was going to be drumming again any time soon. He glanced around the room and found Luke and Reggie on either side of him, blowing out breaths of relief at his conscious state.
"Thank goodness you're awake," Luke said.
"Was real touch and go there for awhile bud," Reggie added. "We were terrified."
"I'm sorry that I made you worry," Alex rasped out, his voice rough and croaky after the accident.
"Yeah, it's usually the other way around," Luke joked.
"I rather you be the one who worries about us honestly," Reggie chimed in.
"Speaking of worrying...should I worry about how we're affording my stay here?" Alex asked.
"That's one thing you don't need to worry about babe," Luke replied.
"We always take care of each other, no matter the cost," Reggie assured him. "We got you."
"But-" Alex started to protest, but his boyfriends leaned in, kept silencing him with kisses, and he eventually relented to letting the worries melt away, just this once.

things you said from across the room for the Greater Polyphantoms Polycule please and thank you
It isn't difficult for Reggie and Alex to relocate the others when they're done dancing. It never is, no matter how crowded Carrie's sorority house gets.
They usually bank on Luke or Willie or Flynn being loud, if not vocally then through their outfits—in the cases of the latter two, anyway. The loudest thing about Luke's outfits are their lack of sleeves, and that's just because he has nice arms.
None of that is what gets their attention this time, though.
"Tesoros!"
A whirlwind of curls pop out of seemingly nowhere from across the room, where Julie must've been hiding in someone's lap on one of the couches. She waves intently.
"Tesoros, ven aqui! Te extrañamos!"
Reggie and Alex exchange a fond glance.
"You think she misses us?" Reggie asks teasingly, smiling wider as Alex snorts.
"I think she must've stolen our drinks."
It's obvious that Alex isn't actually upset, though. He's smiling, too, and when Julie rolls entirely out of Luke's lap at their approach, he's quick to scoop her up.
She hums happily, snuggling into him as he settles beside Luke and giggling as he kisses the top of her head.
Alex asks, "Snuck some rum, Jules?"
If nothing else, her giggles give her away.
"Quizás…"
Reggie plops down on Luke's lap in Julie's place, twisting to give him a quick kiss.
"So, how long has she been in Giggly Spanish Mode?"
"Ah—" Luke sends him a sheepish grin. "How long were you dancing? It started not long after. I think she got into your drink right before you guys left—I thought Flynn was watching her, I was arguing with Willie about line dance songs—"
"Again," Reggie interrupts, and the undercurrent of warmth in his voice actually makes Luke a little red.
There's a tug on Reggie’s jacket sleeve before Willie, now lounging on the arm of the couch, or Flynn, swaying nearby with Carrie to a half-decent song, can interject.
"Tesoro…"
He turns back to Julie, brushing some stubborn curls out of her face.
"Yes, sweetheart?"
She mumbles something that he misses.
"She's pouting because you haven't kissed her yet," Alex supplies. "I'm pretty sure."
Julie nods. "Bésame. Por favor?"
She stares at him beseechingly with her big brown eyes, which really shouldn't be so effective when they're also a little glazed and she's flushed from drinking—
But it's one of the only times she ever really weaponizes her cuteness.
Reggie smacks a kiss to the tip of her nose, grinning as she giggles wildly.
"Una vez más, tesoro?" she says once her giggles give out, widening her eyes again.
Luke winds his arms around Reggie’s waist. He wonders, "Are we all tesoro?"
Alex replies as Reggie obliges Julie with another kiss.
"I think so. Hey, Julie?"
Julie just hums, letting her head loll back.
"What does tesoro mean?"
"In English please, boss," Luke adds.
She sticks her tongue out at him, which makes Willie snicker, but she does oblige.
"Treasure…'cause you're all precious."
Alex visibly melts. "Okay, that's. Adorable."
A quiet hum of agreement from Carrie makes Reggie realize that she and Flynn have stopped in front of them.
"Isn't it?" Flynn says, waving Carrie's water bottle under Julie's nose. "Here, babe."
Julie wrinkles her nose, and Flynn sighs.
"It's vodka."
"Why does that always work?" Willie whispers as she finally takes a long sip.
Flynn shrugs. "She'll thank me tomorrow."
And Reggie's sure she will—but for now, everyone coos at Julie's adorably betrayed and scrunched up face.

There’s no Polyphantoms cuckholding on ao3

My internal debate about posting my prompt ficlets to AO3:
Me: is anyone really interested in reading 5 sentence prompt fills and other mini ficlets on AO3?
Me: Maybe not but it is my writing and AO3 is an archive so it'd be nice to have them there anyway
Me: okay but I don't like those massive prompt collections with ALL the ships in one collections so I'll try to sort my prompt ficlets into ship categories and make a lil collection for each so the people liking that ship can check it out
Me: Okay, sounds like a good plan *sorts prompt ficlets*
Me: ... I now need to come up with five titles for these collections ... that are kind of non-specific but also won't confuse me in the future
Me: Ah shit!

14. kissing under the stars polyphantoms 👀
"I don't want to go home," Reggie had whispered hours ago. Alex and Luke had looked at each other and silently agreed on a course of action, which led the three of them to where they were currently: sprawled on their backs on the beach somewhere between Santa Monica and Venice.
It was long past dusk; the sun had already set over the ocean in front of them and if there wasn't so much light pollution they'd be able to see the stars a little better. Maybe if they had a car between the three of them, they could've driven a little further north to a more secluded beach somewhere along Highway 1.
But instead they were here, pressed shoulder to shoulder in the sand with Reggie's hands clasped firmly in theirs.
"Can we stay here forever?" Reggie asks, his voice a little weak after spending so long being silent.
"Yeah," Luke answers easily as Alex squeezes Reggie's hand.
"As long as you want," he adds, turning his head to look at Reggie. When Reggie meets his gaze, Alex forgets how uncomfortable he was feeling a minute ago.
It's always cooler on the beach, especially after the sun's gone down, and Alex's hoodie only does so much to keep him warm when his body's pressed against the cold sand. But the way Reggie smiles at him makes Alex practically glow.
Alex smiles back and shifts a little closer to Reggie, closing the gap between them with a soft kiss. When he pulls back, his eyes flick past Reggie to see Luke rolled up onto his side. Alex laughs as Luke takes Reggie by surprise, cupping his hand around Reggie's jaw as he kisses him too, already smiling when he pulls away.
Luke grabs Alex next, spilling more sand across both of them as he fists his hand in Alex's hoodie while he leans over Reggie to bring their lips together. Afterwards, Alex grimaces a little and swipes the sand off of the front of his hoodie, giving Luke a little shove.
But Luke doesn't mind. He just laughs and lays his head down on Reggie's chest while he puts his hand on Alex's waist to keep both of them as close as he can. Alex tucks his head in the crook of Reggie's neck and tangles their fingers together, tilting his gaze back up to the sky and for a moment, he swears he sees a shooting star.
