@allmxtherzero was trying to design a luchador croagunk evolution and let me have a go at the concept, so here’s my take.

Here's a peek at the creature collector-type project I'm working on (it won't be a game btw).

The idea is to combine the meaningful evolution lines from Pokemon and the limitless possibilites of Digimon evolution, so that you have vast yet limited evolution trees where each evolution makes sense in some way.

Here is the evolution line of the Beast Rhynacehorn (although I did misspell his name), based on rhinos and rhinoceros beetles, as well as a cameo from Dynarvae's other possible evolution, Kherab, based on scarab beetles

If you're wondering what the classifications next to them mean, each "monster" has one of 14 types, which they keep for their entire evolution line and can't change or gain new types, with a few exceptions. The second line is their class, which shows what kind of "monster" they are. The last line is their evolution level. They range from 0 to 7, called Baby, Child, Rookie, Warrior, Elder, Leader, Emperor and God. Most can only evolve up to level 4 (Elder), with level 5-7 being more exclusive.

Commissioned @chorimayo to draw Kieran but my newest Pokémon oc got included ❤️

This is Vera and she’s my newest Pokémon oc who’s also a descendent of my other two ocs Yami and Silas. She’s also related to Allister from the Galar region! The two of them see each other quite a bit. She’s actually quite a fan of the Galar gym league ❤️ big Gordie fan.

She’s a student at Blueberry Academy, but doesn’t focus on battling unlike most. She’s more research focused and aides Briar in her research. Her and Kieran are childhood friends.

She’s also very tall for someone her age and as tall as Carmine, but the same age as Kieran.

Current team in the first part of the DLC consists of

Purely focusing on companions over the past two generations of Pokemon, I've been happy with the results. I was truly sad to be saying goodbye to Hop and Marnie when it came time to start our journey in Paldea. In no way am I saying they haven't done it before but they had given each of them such specific personalities and their own individual challenges that really flushed them out as characters. I was anxious to see if they would be able to make me feel an attachment to the new companions in Paldea and they did not disappoint. Nemona, Penny, and Arven all in their own special ways chipped away at my doubts. Our companions from both regions have very separate personalities unique to them which helps us to make a connection with them. This is opposed to some of our past in-game friends that are either flat or cookie cutter copies. I truly appreciate the effort that went into making these characters as they definitely have an impact on the enjoyability of each game and create a lasting impression.
