"What happened to you?" Ophilie snaps, all of a sudden. "You are not your usual self."

Qhota blinks owlishly at her. "You...don't know anything about my usual self. You don't know me. You've never made the effort."

"You're chipper. Excitable. Prancing around from one thing to the next. Sending people's lives into upheaval."

"I'm not going to apologize for ending the Dragonsong War, Ophilie."

The older woman takes a deep breath. "...I am making the effort, Qhota Nelhah. I am asking after your well-being."

Another blink, disbelieving. "And that's the tone you chose?"

"I am not your mother, and you are not my child. I'm not going to coddle you. I am who I am, for better or worse, and we...are allies."

"For better or worse," Qhota repeats back to her, a ghost of a smile flickering across her lips.

"You understand, yes."

The silence that follows is brief, but more companionable then they've been with one another in years of traveling together. "It's hard to stop thinking about them. Emet-Selch, and Elidibus. Amaurot. What the world must have been like, then."

"You don't agree with him."

"No. No, I don't, but I keep thinking... If our roles were switches, if he were me, and I was Emet-Selch, I could understand him. Or rather, I do understand him, almost."

Ophilie's icy gaze melts, just for a moment. "We may be more alike than is comfortable for either of us. I may not..." For once in her life, Madame Xavalien stops to consider her words. "...admire the man in the same fashion as you. But the isolation, the willingness to burn the world to the ground to reclaim what you once had..."

"...it's insidious. And it's important to understand that," Qhota finishes for her.

"...hm, you have grown. At this rate, I may even call you friend."

Man i kinda wanna learn to ride motorcycles. Also I wanna go fishing again. I'm literally so southern man coded and when I transition I'm worried I'll come across as one of those doomsday pepper southern men but in reality I like fishing because I think it's more humane than most industrial fishing, i like using all the parts of the animal i catch so none of it goes to waste, I like showing the animal some form of respect before it dies, and like. My entire thing, my entire reason for wanting to garden and fish and craft is out of love. I want to make my own garden out of love for the earth. I want to fish out of love and respect for animals. I want to create my own furniture out of love for the crafting products. And yeah I wanna ride motorcycles but I want to do it only on backroads like mine bc it seems fun. Like god damn idk how to show that I'm a queer and doing thrse things out of love and respect for nature rather than a fear/hope for the end of the world and idk I'm rambling at this point but it's on my mind currently lmao

In me heart, Killer Frequency has like, 8 movies, 2 failed reboots, and a tv miniseries.

#the second movie sees henry tryign to somewhat adjust af6er marie stepped off whistling point.#He pulls an axel and ends up killing a buncha cops and shit to avenge marie #movie 3 sees marie return a la ft13 part 6. its very sexy. they go on a murder spree again and marie walks off into the mosty woods #while henry ia shot and left for dead.#movie 4 is full of red herrings and a mysterious figure turns out to be henry after he survived the shot. the duo reunite #movie 5 is the copycat killer thay is ultimately offed by marie and henry. henry is killed for real. undead marie is distraught #she goes on a rampage and gets exploded. the town thinks its all finally over #but henrys hand rises from a shallow grave in a post credits scene #movie 6 henry rolls up to exact revenge for his mom AGAIN this is probably where some of the kills have a sense of humour to them #movie 7 is the obligatory Whistling Man In Space movie. henry has been played by a wwe wrestler since movie 6 #he shows.significant decay but turns out the alien nonsense suddenly made him powerful and idk brings back marie Again probably.#movie 8 was the crossover event slasher royale movie. marie and henry have an upper hand and emerge victorious.#the first reboot attempted to be super gritty and replaces forrest and peggy with college students with a campus radio program.#it was terribly received.#the second reboot attempted to place the focus on henry and made him the main murderer while saying he was possessed by a demon #this was one is widely considered to be the worst in the franchise.#the miniseries is a retelling of the original and is faithful to the source #its well appreciated for it even if critics said it was unimaginitive. the fans liked it bc it was clearly made for the fans.#why the FUCK have I put all these in the notes.#killer frequency #send help im so brain dill about this

#gilly speaks #not lngo he went to one psychiatric evaluation post hisui to make sure he was alright and then never went back #emmet tried therapy just before lngo returned lmao #okay she might have still done shitty things without childhood trauma BUT she would not be half as bad as she is #she never even faced her own mother despite the fact she was the source of all her trauma #all those achievements and proper display of skill and independence and she was still too scared to face her mother again
