happy pride month everyone! I missed midnight in my time zone bc I passed out but u are all so lovely and cool <3 take a catKISS from me! like Dream said no matter where you are in that journey of self acceptance and discovery (the one without an end for many ppl, I may add) you will find love and support from this community that’s only gotten stronger while fighting a lot of invalidating stuff from those trying to tear Dream down

wanted to leave this under the cut bc it’s not rlly important to the main post

I really do wish I could say thanks to Dream bc he’s had such a large direct and indirect impact on me being a lot more comfortable talking about lgbtq+ stuff and more comfortable in my own skin. I’ve always just kind of accepted the label I had bc it was like something others said and it made sense so I was like ok whatever ace is epic or wtv, but after seeing the Reddit manifesto I felt like I had to just sit down and think for myself about my relationship to the lgbtq+ community. after his coming out post it kinda happened again! like I said I’ve been in quite the rut for a long time but seeing those and talking to my roommate who’s much more active in the queer space here on campus made me excited for next year when I want to join some student orgs to get involved in the asian n black queer communities at school :> like now that I’ve seen a lot of discussion, read some minimal papers on these topics, and seen the trickle-down impacts of Dream coming out, pride feels a lot more meaningful personally. idk he definitely is not the sole reason but it’s indisputable he started a domino effect of good for a lot of people and I wish he knows the impact that he’s had and that I could validate him after months of horribly overblown hatred and homophobia

well. i am too polite to directly vague people But. i think. escalating situations w/ inflammatory rhetoric and actively taking things wildly out of context to engage with them in bad faith is. well it is a skill set of its own that's all ill say. and some people get off on finding a way to make every take they don't agree with into smth Evil. it is... very chronically online and only proves my point 😭 also that is SO funny fr are there actually poasts like yhat???? 😭😭😭 help... what's one way to show that u never actually listened to what i was saying without saying it.... anyway yeah it does feel gross and weird idc if people talk abt me behind my back but like... at least make an effort to understand where im coming from before u call me a piece of shit? but it's the internet who am i kidding🧍🧍 anyway hope u have a kind day too anon catkiss :]
