Potato had surgery yesterday and was supposed to be released today, but they took so long to notify me I was starting to think I'm gonna have to call them up and be like: "I realize he's very cute, but can I please have my cat back now?"

But he was returned with this vest and a matching sock. :D

And everything went better than expected! They didn't need to remove the kidney, but managed to get rid of the obstruction, the kidney is already working better and he should be okay as well.

I've been worried that I'm gonna have to say goodbye really soon, but it seems that it may be a long way away now. As it should be.

It's with a heavy heart that I share the news that Mr. Potato has passed away. He was admitted to the emergency hospital on Friday, July 8, and received overnight treatment for several days. We got a call last Monday morning informing us that treatment wasn't doing much, and that both emergency vets urged us to consider euthanasia because his chances for recovery weren't great. We got to visit the sweet boy one last time to say our final goodbyes, and he passed away shortly after 10am.

Rip Potato, the sweetest baby boy. 💕 You won the hearts of everyone who met you, and will never be forgotten.

Hey guys

I’m still alive! Just been dealing with a lot of family stuff, it seems to have finally quieted down now and things seem to sort of being going smoothly now (fingers crossed) it’s been an emotional few months.

I’ve had plenty of ideas and inspiration for new stuff but have been otherwise paralyzed mentally from getting much done.

So many things have fallen by the wayside for me recently. Guess that’s only natural when you reach mental overload… you just sort of shut down. I’m working on trying to get back into the saddle with quite a few things I’ve abandoned.

One of them being my Tumblr. I miss you guys, I miss writing and creating and collaborating.

Hopefully it’ll all start to come back soon
