Just realized I think pseudo-legendary Pokemon may be holding the game balance together.

They wouldn't let those guys get powercrept, and they keep adding new ones, so there has to always be a Pokemon with 600 BST that has to be very good.

If Konami didn’t want decks like Gate Order and Melobold to be meta, then why did they give them the tools to be meta and not give the other decks the tools needed to be meta? Gate Order has received incredibly powerful galaxy type monsters that are far stronger than what most other decks have access to, to the point that Oblivion is in every list that uses Secret Order and/or Parallel Birth Gate and has space for it. Melo:D was not given any condition to which Level 7 monsters it is allowed to bounce and gave it the ability to summon its own tribute fodder for Thunderbold, not to mention that it has a method of recurring Thunderbold for future use. None of the other decks, including the decks Konami wants to introduce as the new hotness, have anything close to the spine-snapping potential needed to topple these decks, and they expect them to even be able to compete outside of being incredibly lucky?

To justify sales, power creep and limit regulations.

Something or other will be released eventually that displaces the two.

Listen back when I was like 12 I was OBSESSED with Tower of God on Webtoon and I followed it closely for a few years but then I got so confused and bored during the arc with the like dog people (to many fight scenes and also everyone can fly now???) that I stopped reading HOWEVER I am still ultimate Khun/Bam trash and whenever I think of them I get wistful and I want to reread but I can never get past the confusion. Idk if I should keep going since I know there’s lots out since I stopped reading. The thing is if it’s still just gonna be like fight scenes with very little substance (+ 10 million characters introduced in every arc just to disappear) I feel like I’m gonna have to stop reading again and I don’t wanna reinvest myself….what to do…the nostalgia is calling to me…

starlight revue going out of service is sad but also like thank god i can get out of that powercreep hell in pvp but its still also the one i played the most out of .... the two mobile games i play now (nuc and starira)

could get into a new one but none of thecurrent ones out there appeal to me in designs - wouldn't call them bad but dont find them interesting either and like idk getting invested in story is a struggle to say beforehand

Honestly I'm going to wait for a bit. A lot of the datamining over Shu sounds kind of too good to be true / unintended bugs. Unlimited rice fields duration, 75HP regen/s (a free permanent Skadi S2 on even unhealable units LUL) 10% Shelter that stacks with other Shelters.

Also the highest and third highest HPS in the game

Her only weakness is that her actual stats are kinda meh (she's a whole 40 DEF lower than Saria before Saria even starts charging her DEF stat) and that her skills are manually activated instead of auto.

The rice fields being permanent duration and the shelter stacking with other shelters sounds unintended, otherwise it means Hypergryph really looked at Saria and said "So the new girl's not as tough as you or hits as hard as Blemishine, but she does pair up great with someone else" and made all Shu's features combo with Silence the Paradigmatic
