PPGZ x RRBZ [when it’s color coded only] is SO weird since instead of just using opposing ingredients to create the boys like in the OG show, Mojo uses the girls’ own DNA to make the boys so it’s kinda like... yeah if you ship color coded PPGZ x RRBZ

And then another thing is that allegedly the boys are ten in this iteration instead thirteen like the girls?? Idk if that’s true but if it is... Why did the creators make that decision cause thirteen year old boys can be that immature, trust me 💀

Spy x Scientist AU Powerpuff Girls X Rowdyruff Boys

I rewatched 'Totally Spies' and thought it would be really cool if the ppgz/ppg became spies…but then later thought it was too obvious and easy.Then I remembered an old post about "what kind of scientists would the ppg be?" and I thought about what if the ppgz/ppg were geniuses working in a spy agency instead! The Rowdyruff Boys are the spies (the good guys), but the Rowdyruff Boys are not ordinary spies, they are the elite. But if I'm honest, I'm not a big fan of them being adults. I'd rather they be teenagers. I think it would be really interesting to read Teen Spys x Teen Genius, there are so many possibilities that can happen between the ppg/rrbs. I love the funny teen banter (I don't care if that's an old people word, I love it!!!), drama, adventure and ROMANCE!!!! Basically a mix of popular x nerd and friends to lovers situations. HS Romance!!!

So here's my Spies AU idea!!!

Kaoru Matsubara/ Buttercup: is obviously a weapons expert/engineer…. I think it would be really cool if Buttercup could invent super high-tech weapons, vehicles, super suits, and so on

For example: anti-gravity cycle, explosion lipstick, and stretchy cable bungee belt.

Miyako Gōtokuj/ Bubbles: Bubbles is a bit difficult; she could either be a zoologist or a hacker. If I choose the zoologist, I'd think it would be really cool if she trained animals as spies! Or if I choose the hacker variant, it would be really cool if she updated the agency's security or hacked into the bad guys' security systems and so on.

Momoko Akatsutsum/ Blossom: and finally, I really think Blossom should be a chemist! She can make cool stuff like truth serum, Ice Queen perfume (totally spy) and so on.

PPG AUs idea

In the spirit of Halloween, I feel that the perfect costume theme for the Powerpuff Girls or general AU plot would be making the PPG and RRB the characters from Grease I mean imagine

Blossom = Sandy

Brick = Danny

I mean how cute would the Reds be with Brick as the leader of the greaser wooing the girl next door Blossom. I think that if somebody does make this that they should make Sandy have more of a backbone since Blossom wouldn't be moaning all the time over a boy the way Sandy can come off as. I think that one moment that Sandy and Blossom combine is when Sandy pushes Danny off her when he tries to have sex with her and she doesn't want to.

Buttercup = Betty Rizo

Butch = Kenickie

The on-and-off kind of relationship of Rizo and Kenickie perfectly fits the Greens. I definitely could see Buttercup belting out "There are Worse Things I Could Do" about Butch and "Look at Me I'm Sandra Dee" about Blossom/Sandy. I feel like Butch bringing up "putting up a fight" makes sense with both of the Greens being fighters. I also think that Butch would be the type to buy a crappy beat-up car and insist he could fix it and want to do a drag race with his rival.

Bubbles = Frenchy

Frenchy is a perfect fit for Bubbles with the beauty queen drop out the number and the bright bubble gum pink hair but instead, she would have cotton candy blue hair. Bubbles like Frenchy would be the one to bring Blossom/Sandy into the fold. I think that Bubbles wouldn't be a part of the Sandra Dee number etc. or peer pressure someone to smoke, drink, or have their ears pierced. I do think she would convince Blossom/Sandy to pierce her ears to be pretty. I also love the idea of Bubbles being into beauty/fashion and going to beauty school.

Boomer = Sony

I think that Boomer would be Sony since he's a bit clueless. I'm pretty sure he and Frenchy end up together so Blues Shippers would be happy.

Princess = Cha Cha

Princess as Cha Cha makes sense since in a lot of fan fics we see her trying to either get with Brick or with all of the brothers. It would make sense for her to go with Butch/Kenickie to the dance in order to make Buttercup/ Rizzo jealous and to take Blossom/Sandy's place as Brick/Danny's partner in the dance competition.

Ace = Leo

I think Ace would be Leo who would have the gang green be the rival of the T-Birds/ RRB group. He would go to Buttercup because he likes her and wants to infuriate Butch. I also think a Princess/ Ace pairing would be interesting

welcome 2 a blues drabble (1)

(a list of stuff that lives in my head rent free)

So I’ve grown up with the powerpuff girls since i was about 7 years old and i got a Blossom plushie for my birthday and now I’m 22 and it still sits on my desk. They’ve always been a part of my life-- in some form. 

the one thing I never got was the ignorance of the blues (boomer/bubbles) and how they’re written and perceived; they have so much more complexity than just being the “cute and happy” couple, so here’s a drabble on how they started:

- boomer is the one who has a crush on bubbles first, and It’s all because of how selfless she is when it comes to helping other people out even when she’s overworked. The whole scenario was wild at first but Boomer and Bubbles are both part of the Musical Theatre class and she’s just a stage props artist (art girl things) while Boomer is on the tech / sound team. She consistently asks him if everything looks okay and he’s always giving her feedback. They grow closer as time goes on, and he offers to help her whenever he can so she can still be doing all of her other activities. 

(side note: Bubbles is in ballet and works a part time job baby sitting so being also in Musical Theatre and keeping up her grades is ALOT thank u she is constantly stressed thank yew)

-it just so happens that with helping with all the costume making and the time she spends doing everything and anything, the main lead for the play ends up sick and so. She goes up in her stead, being super nervous as hell but “everyone thinks she the prettiest person and shouldn’t have a problem doing it” yeah she’s not okay but she wants the best for everyone so here she goes

(side note: Bubbles might be the most adored person in school (next to Blossom), but she really doesn’t like the spotlight too much since she secretly hates being known as just “pretty” and “cute” so yeah she likes to do things in the background lol she’d rather have the spotlight on either her sisters or someone she cares about. ) 

- so you just imagine Boomer’s shock when he sees Bubbles on stage being the main character and trying to focus the lighting on her while she’s acting. After helping her for the last couple months and how much she had to do in her other tasks, she still showed up. She smiles at him unintentionally and that’s the thing that causes Boomer to miss his lighting cue for the end scene. 

- Bubbles is extremely oblivious to boomer’s crush. like y’all thought Blossom was bad.... Bubs just thinks everyone likes her (and can’t tell the difference) so anything he does goes over her head. 

-Boomer keeps trying though. 

-Bubbles and Boomer hang out at the coffee shop Robin works at almost every Monday after the play to study and chat... but 60% of the time it falls through if Bubs has any sort of stress and has to focus on homework or helping out someone else. She always makes it up to him though. 

- Eventually Robin and Blossom tell Bubbles about Boomer (after tons of speculation and him constantly being around her) and she freaks out 

-and not in a good way.

- she is extremely self conscious and thinks that Boomer only likes her for her looks and becomes sad about it. Blossom and Robin try to tell her it’s not like that but she tells them that “he’s just like the rest of the boys who say they like me and just use me to brag about their pretty girlfriend” 

-she pushes him away after this and it KILLS BOOMER because she has been one of the only nice souls in his life since his family life SUCKS (his brothers help him but he needs another outlet and that was her.) 

-ANGST

-They push each other away for like. a whole 6 months and in that time Bubbles has moved on and solely focuses on her schooling and ballet while Boomer takes up guitar and continues in Musical Theatre and starts to hang out with Robin a lot more (since she is in it too and she is BOMB at it) 

-Bubbles doesn’t mind at first but over time she sees his true colours and starts to like him back 

-WHILE BOOMER IS OVER HER NOW AND USED THE SIX MONTHS TO GRIEVE BYE 

-They might be the first to get together but it’s a LOT OF BACK AND FORTH thank you 

-Bubbles tries to hangout with Boomer more but he just can’t deal with the shit she put him through 

-Long story short, Bubbles confesses the day before she leaves for University in the POURING RAIN and explains to him her insecurities and he’s like “what the hell no i loved you for the way you were- are.” and Bubbles is an emotional wreck 

-”but if you’re going to abandon me the way you did before this isn’t gonna work” -Boomer

- Bubbles is like.... completely backtracking, sobbing and brings up Robin in which Boomer tells her that Robin is just a friend-- and how badly he was hurt that Bubbles suddenly disappeared that he found sanctuary in being Robin’s friend.

-MORE ANGST

- They find each other a year later when they are in the same Minor in University (HAH MUSICAL THEATRE) and the feelings just come tumbling back 

-BOOMER GETS THE LEAD and it shocks Bubbles because she always saw him as tech but he was WAY BETTER THAN SHE THOUGHT HE WAS 

-Bubbles is just doing props again but also hops into the chorus like the iconic soprano she is 

-basically Boomer and Bubbles are a slowburn friends to lovers to enemies to lovers and we are HERE FOR IT ANYWAYS

-might continues this if it gets love idk
